I'll keep this real brief. I ordered the D11, which allows you to have two proteins. I chose to order the chicken and the filet mignon with fried rice (they charge an extra $3 if you want filet mignon). Overall I thought this meal was pretty solid. However, the filet mignon wasn't as up to par as I was expecting, but it still tasted good. I would probably get chicken and steak next time (with no extra charge). read more

Panda Express had more quality food, the hood Louisiana/Chinese food had better food-both locations are within walking distance of this dumpster fire! Rice was stale and overloaded with soy sauce to hide it. Veggies were drenched in oil, and the chicken tasted like it was of the frozen variety reheated! First off I ordered online a little after 3 o'clock , The order said it would be ready around 3:30p , so I hopped in the car and stop next to the grocery outlet right next-door did a little shopping and when I went to pick up the order it was not ready and second of all the man taking the payment almost gave me the wrong order and third thing that happened when I got home the shrimp tempura was nothing like the picture on the website that I ordered online with and it was half cooked or mushy wasn't done and greasy greasy greasy! The Louisiana fried chicken place down the street is better than this actual Japanese restaurant I won't be going back!! After visiting today, I feel like this place is under new management or owners. This isn't the same quality and service I recall from other visits. While the staff has never been particularly friendly, the guy that helped me today was blah and borderline rude. He asked my order number as I tried to recall rather it was "21 or 27", he points to the bag on the counter with receipt attached.. I read the receipt and said no that's not mine. Because the name on the receipt said "Johnson".. he shrugged and said it's yours. He practically threw the pen down on the counter for me to sign. SMH. If you want to identify costumers.. at least ask their name over the phone. Once I got home.. I realized the quality of the food isn't what I once raved over. Several of my shrimp were over cooked, some of the noodles were crispy and dry and I barely had any vegetables. The vegetables used to be crisp and freshly made. I would honestly give this place 0 stars if I could. The last time I came here the food was a 10/10 (6 years ago). I decided to treat myself and get it delivered. I ordered the sirloin steak combo with mixed veggies and fried rice. They ONLY gave me all broccoli. And regular white rice with some sauce when I was suppose to receive fried rice. The rice for gods sake was even not cooked well (hard-ish texture). The sirloin steak? Was even more of a disappointment. It tasted OLD and it was so chewy it felt like I was chewing decades old gum. I never feel compelled to write negative reviews but this one was just too bad to not. Ehh, it's not Benihana- I'll start with this. I've tried a few lunch truck versions and overall this place was ok. A lot of food drenched in sodium is what you will get with your order. Most teriyaki places will stick to thinner cuts of meat, but this place gives you it all. The got the chicken and steak combo plate. The chicken was very stringy and slimy. The steak was thicker but heals up well. I'm assuming they cook a lot of this basic stuff and then leave it on the grill to reheat as the day goes on. The veggies weren't that great and the rice was alright. Overall it's definitely edible if your in a pinch but honestly I would've payed less and enjoyed my food if I went next door to Panda Express. First, this is NOT SHRIMP TEMPURA! First experience, not the best one. My food was not packaged well and what little sauce was on the food, landed in the bag. I ordered the 3-meat combo, with double Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp lightly succeed in Teriyaki sauce. The portion sizes are questionable. The pre-frozen breaded shrimp they included as my side of shrimp tempura, was disappointing. I also ordered spring rolls. Which were also pre-frozen and not fresh. The chicken and shrimp was good. Not the most sanitary looking place and don't expect Benihana, but it's pretty damn good for what it is. Their teppanyaki-style lunch and dinner plates are around $10 (more or less) a pop. They even serve lobster tails for an additional price. We tried the shrimp and steak combo plate ($13), and the portions were humongous! The plates come with your choice of white rice or fried rice, grilled veggies, and your choice of protein.
