I love Miabella Gelato. It's the perfect combination of the deep flavors that are found in gelato, along with the perfection found in ice cream. Miabella is located in the Fountains shopping center in Roseville. The line is to be expected, and moves fairly quickly. Samples are given, and deciding between seasonal flavors, and their classics. It's all so delicious. There is a small amount of seating inside, and during the warmer months, there's seating all around in the outside shopping center. It's truly lovely. Tonight's gelato experience was mango, raspberry, cookies and cream, and chocolate. The mango isn't my favorite, but if you love mango, you'll really like this. The raspberry is unbelievable. It's fresh, tart, sweet, and oh so delicious!!! The cookies and cream is not a go to for me, and THIS changed my mind. It's creamy, luscious, and just perfect. Friendly folks behind the counter. With a medium, I was able to enjoy 3 flavors. What a treat! All 3 were amazing with the exact hint of flavor and creamy finish. It was great to no have to leave any out. The Rose is a signature for the area, but the mint-chip and coconut were right there with distinctive taste all the way to the bottom of the cup. I looked at the flavors for a moment before starting to ask the sales girl, "What's---" She read my mind, and interrupted with, "Gianduia is chocolate hazelnut." I then asked, "Can you do half and half on a medium?" She nodded. "Okay, then can I please get half gianduia and half pistachio?" I'm so glad I did half and half, because the pistachio was a little bit off its game. I've had it before, and it's one of my favorite flavors, but this batch tasted like it might have been a day or two old. The gianduia, on the other hand, was to die for. Every single bite was heaven. The combination of chocolate and hazelnut reminded me of Rondnoir candies by Ferrero, which are one of my favorite sweets. Anyway, I had taken my gelato outside to sit by the fountains, and a musical water show started as I was sitting there, enjoying my dessert. It was a very pleasant experience. I chose two flavors -- Stracciatella and Hazelnut. The Stracciatella is like Chocolate Chip ice cream except with fine, irregular shavings of chocolate. Daughters ordered Pistachio and Cookies & Cream. While they are good they are not as sharp and rich as I expected them to be. They lack flavor. I use the gelato store at the Milagro in Carmichael in comparison where the gelatos are creamy and flavorful. Also, the gelatos here are on the pricey side. All else, the shop was clean with a few indoor table seating as well as some outdoor chairs. Service was fast and efficient. First time here and DELISH is all I can say. Came here after a scrumptious meal at Q1227 and there were about 8 flavors, 3 which were non-dairy. I chose a med size gingerbread mixed with salted caramel and I honestly did all but stick my entire tongue in that little cup. Don't be fooled, the cups look small but they pack in the gelato. I had more than enough. We got 2 meds and a large and the total was $18.25. Great flavor, Good price! One sister got lemon & raspberry combined and said they were VERY GOOD and she would get it again. Our other sister which told us about this spot got gingerbread, cappuccino and pistachio and said she would of course get it again. We were immediately greeted upon walking in but I was so greedy sampling, I neglected to get the young lady's name but she was very polite to us all and we each had at least 2 samples before ordering. Gelato is yummy and delicious, but every time we go the employees look so fed up with everything and everyone. Can I get a sample? They're mad about it and always are fed up with doing their job. One time employee was hiding behind the desk until we came in and said "hellooooo" than she popped up from behind the desk. Seems like each employee hates their job and turns business away. We came today and they closed the shop early on purpose. 3/26/2022 Saturday treats after lunch! My son and I went back to Miabella and our experience was just as good as the first due to a gentleman working the counter. (Feel so bad I didn't get his name!) We came back for dessert after having lunch at CPK. My son wanted pineapple and cookies and cream. How they go together or even eating one flavor after the other beats me but he killed it. My sweet tooth cravings had me wanting my trio of nuts (almond/choco hazelnut and pistachio) - we were being helped by a young lady behind the counter. When I asked for pistachio, she told me they were sold out. I ended up choosing coffee flavor to sub out but really came back for pistachio. Right as I paid and tipped in cash, the other gentleman refilled pistachio flavor. The young lady that was helping me glanced at me as her coworker refilled the pistachio and he saw my look of disappointment that he ended up packing me a single scoop Togo! I thought this was incredibly thoughtful of him! :) I will continue to come back for not only the great gelato but the great service! This has been my favorite place to get gelato in the Sacramento area. My family and a couple of friends went on a busy Friday night at the Fointains after going on a walk at a nearby trail. It looked like a long line that almost went out the door, but in 5 minutes, I was out the door with my treat! I bought a medium sized cup with 3 flavors. Mint chip, Oreo and tiramisu. The first 2 flavors are my usual go-tos for ice cream, but the tiramisu gelato was by far the best flavor. Despite how busy it was, we were able to enjoy our gelato at the nearby outdoor seating. I love the consistency, its creamy and soft. I got the s'mores and a chocolate flavor that had nuts on it, I don't recall the name. Hubby had salted caramel and pistachio. The pistachio was really good. The others were good too. Their sizes are very small and the prices are high. It was over $13 for two large cups (they are actually pretty small cups). I was at the new Mia Italian restaurant on Eureka, but they didn't have my flavor, pistachio. The woman suggested another nearby ice cream shop in Fountains, but it did NOT have pistachio, so I ended up at Miabella and bought a quart. While I wish it had more pistachio nuts in it, the flavor was fantastic and it wasn't overly sweet. Especially, I did not detect any food coloring (like Handel's). The ice cream shop at Westfield did not have an staff present so I yelped and found this little gelato shop at the Fountains across. They have three sizes and you can have up to 4 flavors if you order a large. A nice young gentleman helped me with my order. My picks were mango, salted caramel, pistachio and coconut. I liked the coconut the best then salted caramel. They have three little tables outside so my husband and I were able to enjoy their gelato on the spot.
