First I reached out via their website by booking at time on their calendar. That time came and went and no one showed up or called me. A little over 1 week passed and I decided to just call them. No one answered, left a voice mail, and got a text saying someone would call me back. No one call me back. I called again another day, no one answered again, left a voice mail saying that this was my 3rd and final attempt, and no one called me back. Very disappointed :( I thought I had found a great trash collection company.

Given I have 4 of those and a bunch of other things, I used yelp's quote feature to see how much a junk hauler would cost. Seth was responsive, gave me a flat rate quote (lots of others wouldn't tell me or said the price could increase), and he was prompt (came a few hours after I agreed to use him. Once on site, Seth quickly and efficiently loaded all the items I had listed and even took some extra stuff I hadn't listed (an old pallet and some rotten wood beams) without charging extra. All that coupled with one of the lowest prices I was quoted. If you've got junk, give it to Junk It Express!

They quickly identified the problem and fixed it on the spot. Turns out the computer had fried! Too much dog hair over the years, I assume. I replied by text at 8:40 explaining the appointment was supposed to be after 10. Their response was to claim they had called "a few times" and to tell me to call back if I decide to make an appointment. That statement was not accurate, as there was only one call and the appointment had already been scheduled. Canceling an appointment because a customer didn't answer the phone an hour and a half before the agreed time is unreasonable. Misrepresenting the situation afterward makes it even worse. He did reply saying ok he will come after 10 but , then changed up on payment by check etc. that was unsettling and seems that details change too much . Needless to say.. I'm too uncomfortable with this unstable communication. I decided then to just cancel as there's no trust in this communication so, how can I trust the repairs? Very disappointing experience and not the level of professionalism I would expect from a service company. Rearranging MY schedule for them to be treated this way is so frustrating. Their reply here is even crazier and solidifying my decision to cancel . I've attached the text and clearly they don't match their reply . He said he'd accept check on text . They only called once at 8:30 I text at 8:40 . Wow!

The actual people who did the pickup were fine. A bit more bumping into walls than I'd like, but otherwise ok. The problem was scheduling. I booked a month in advance and they said they would be there the morning of pickup between 8 and 10 am. They were texting me to ask for pictures of what I needed taken away as early as 8:15. At 9:45 they texted me a quote. I messaged them around 10:30 asking if/when they were coming b/c the pickup window had passed. And then I didn't hear anything until around noon. Two hours after the pickup window. That's when they told me that they weren't going to be there until around 4. In reality, it was around 4:50. The reviews here are still generally really good, so I'm hoping my experience was just a fluke, but the lateness combined with the lack of communication made for a really disappointing experience.

I arranged for 3 quotes and the first company came and found all kinds of issues and safety hazards that were quoted around $17k to fix. A second company gave me a quote via text and then Julian from Harper's had given me an estimate over the phone but agreed to come out in person to take a look double checking that first estimate of work we got from the other guys. When Julian saw the main concern with our box, he quickly and simply stripped a wire and fixed it while explaining to my husband what was happening. Then he did a walk through and suggested things we need to do to make our home safe. My husband instantly feels comfortable with Julian and crew and we are excited to book them for the install. Issue we've had, they've sent a tech out that said we needed to replace the entire appliance. Or that it will take hundreds (HUNDREDS) of dollars to fix. Every. Single. Time.
