Each of the 4 of us ordered via the qr code on the table. we got there about 7:30 and left 9:40. we had great conversations but, that's not why we stayed so long. It took us soooooo long for us to receive our food! There was about 20 minutes between each of us receiving our individual orders. My bowl looked pretty sparse. I dug around and learned that there was no rice in my rice bowl. I asked a server about my missing rice and she said she'd give me a side of rice. perfect. She then returns to tell me that they actually ran out of rice. I was flabbergasted. They ran out of rice and didn't even think to TELL me and give me an option of ordering something else before i waited 40 minutes for my food?! She offered fries or bread but, i only wanted rice. They were kind enough to refund my money. I ended up giving the food to my friend because the chicken wasn't good anyway. The photo shows it as grilled teriyaki chicken. It looked more like boiled chicken and it didn't taste good. Flamebroiler has a better chicken bowl. It was well over an hour before our 4th person got his food. And then it was another 5-10 minutes til he got his rootbeer float. The Arnold Palmer was unsweetened and tart and not ice cold. I did like the sweet potato fries that my friend ordered. Inside could use a bigger dancing space in front of the band. The beers are good as well as the onion rings. Ranch is top notch. The flat bread was also decent/good. There is free parking with validation and free refills on the ice tea for your DD. A pint of beer was $9.50 and then there was a "special" 20 ounce for $13.50... it seemed the same size, but even if not, the value for the smaller glass is much better. Definitely just get the pint. They have about 3-4 herb/vegetable planters and a chicken coop. Plenty space for kids to run around and spend time in. Mildly annoying to find and park, I couldn't see any signage so wasn't sure where this place was, until I saw some 'Hangar 24 guest' parking spaces. Anyway, once I found the location I was pleasantly surprised. It's a hidden gem for sure. Food/service is great. Had the smash burger with onion rings. Love the panko breaded onion rings, those are excellent. Also ordered the pretzel bites, which I liked as well. The ambiance is epic outside. This place is strict about no outside food. My 2 year old has food allergies and they would not allow us to bring in food for him. Their kitchen was backed up and they had a sign posted saying food orders would be an hour wait also. Thankfully the staff "allowed" us to bring in milk for my son. I had high hopes for this place :/ but overall, I would rate it a 3.5 stars. Parking: parking lot has plenty of parking. You'll have to get a little ticket but they validate at the bar and I left after 2 hours and there was no charge. Food/ drinks: The food was delicious. I had the pretzel bites and bbq chicken pizza and I loved it! Very flavorful for bar food. I also had the flourless chocolate cake but that one was dry and I did not really like it. The drinks are just okay. I had a lemon drop (way too sweet) and the strawberry nirvana cocktail (too bitter) and I was not impressed. My bf got an espresso martini and he didn't enjoy it either. But this is a brewery so maybe their specialty is not cocktails but I can't speak on the beer. Ambience: the outdoor area is really nice and spacious. There are a lot of tables but still enough room for kids to do cartwheels and what not in the middle. We went on a Friday when there was live music but the music WAS SO LOUD. We found a place outlooked really good can't recall the name of the place inside, but we ordered the wagyu Smashburger, the spicy fish sandwich, and I think it was something like a fried clam chowder fish and fries. We were impressed with the spicy fish sandwich as compared to the picture. It looked so much bigger, such a large piece of fish. So it will definitely work it next to what the wagu Smashburger and not tasted just as good. And with the fried clam chowder, fish and fries, it was definitely good. But I think it was just a tad bit salty, a little too much salt on it, not sure. If that's just how it's normally made, or we just ended up with maybe a pinch or 2 more salt on our order. This place is awesome. It has the best aesthetics and it's so inviting! Hangar 24's management in Irvine, CA is ran so smoothly and everything is perfect and made well. I love to spend time inside of the indoor area and the outdoor area. They have an @open.micnightzzz on Mondays where you can bring whatever need and they also provide a stage on the weekends. This space is very fun to spend time with family and friends and it's all ages because it is a brewery. They have an outdoor area that is so fun to hang out and they even have a basketball court. LATE, COLD & BURNED FOOD! A ridiculous wait... 47-minute past the quoted time for pick-up, received cold & burned food for my family! :-( I went up to this outdoor pop-up tent where orders were waiting (all of them cold because they didn't set-up any heat lamps!) to be told by multiple staff members our food would only be 5 minutes MORE. I'd get out of the way and then come back... new person, but the same unrealistic assurance. And ours wasn't the only lost order, there was a huge line of other guests also complaining about the same problem. When the food arrived and was burned and cold (and with NO silverware), I called the manager and told him that this was unacceptable. Reply: "Yah, didn't I talk to you already? Sorry, I guess"... OMG, that's it!?! No remake? No solutions? And no dinner for my family. Super disappointed. I'm calling my credit card company to cancel payment. Suggest you do the same. Avoid this place! The tables outside are numbered and have a QR Code so you can order and pay without needing to get away from your table. We had the wings, flat bread, and kids pizza. To the Management Team at Hangar 24, I wanted to share some feedback regarding the recent changes to your live entertainment format. For years, Hangar 24 has been a place where families can gather, enjoy great food and drinks, listen to live music, and allow their children to safely play and have fun. It has created a welcoming environment that appeals to a broad audience, and that family-friendly atmosphere is one of the reasons so many people continue to return. Last night, however, I noticed a significant change that concerned me. Instead of having the live band perform earlier in the evening, a DJ played first and the band performed much later. Many people, including myself, came specifically to enjoy the live band, and the new format seemed confusing to much of the crowd. As I observed throughout the evening, very few people were dancing during the DJ set. Most guests remained seated, looking uncertain about the change. In addition, some of the music selections and volume level felt inappropriate for a venue that attracts so many families with young children. I noticed several children covering their ears, and many parents appeared uncomfortable. From my perspective, Hangar 24's customer base is largely made up of families. Those families purchase food, drinks, and often stay for several hours while their children enjoy the outdoor space. By scheduling the live band later in the evening, many parents are forced to leave before the performance begins because their children are tired or it is simply too late for a family outing. If the goal is to attract a younger nightlife crowd, a better approach might be to have the live band perform earlier in the evening when families are present and then transition to a DJ later at night for guests who prefer that atmosphere. This would allow both audiences to enjoy the venue without alienating the families who have supported Hangar 24 for years. I am sharing this feedback because I genuinely enjoy coming to Hangar 24 and want to see it continue to succeed. I believe many guests share these concerns, and I hope management will carefully consider how these changes may impact the loyal family customer base that has helped make Hangar 24 such a popular destination. Underwhelmed. Difficult to find a happy hour menu on their website. Had to call ahead and ask. Space was located between corporate buildings, weird spot that was difficult to find. More signage would help. Went in for a Tuesday happy hour with coworkers at about 3pm and there were no vibes. Staff had low energy. High tops inside were marked "reserved" for a party that never came. When I circled back and asked it was an immediate "oh they just called right now to cancel" it just sounded made up. Music only played inside, no outdoor speakers. When I asked they said they'd open the partition so we could hear it, partition then remained closed. Happy hour menu items included purchase of singular sliders for $6...make these more shareable please. I have never purchased a singular slider. I have frequented original location in Redlands and this location pales in comparison. It's a skip for me. Much better happy hours out in the area. The restaurant is indoor and separated from most of the seating area. There are some indoor seatings but the majority of seatings are outdoor with heaters and a fireplace seating area. Our hockey team took up 2 tables by the fireplace as well as the high tables next to it and there was only 1 heater available there. My family and I came last night for a hockey team dinner along with meeting up some family here as well to kill 2 birds with one stone. We ordered the food and drinks/alcohol inside and picked up the food outdoors at the tent. My family of 4 ordered the following: 1. Philly cheesesteak: Small sandwich w/ fries. Meat was really flavorful, not salty, and tender, not dried. 2. BLT sandwich: BIG sandwich but very delish! 3. Classic American Burger: My 12yo says it was good! He says the patty was moist and not dry. 4. Mini Boss cheeseburger w/ add on of veggies as there are no veggies (kids menu). Same size as Classic American Burger without veggies, so I added the lettuce and tomatoes to the sandwich for my 9yo. The staff within the restaurant and outside were all very polite and friendly. The service provided was amazing. I would definitely return in the future when we are in town. The outdoor area is really spacious and a great place for kids & adults! They also have artificial grass areas for kids to roll on and corn holes to play with. There was a live band playing last night and they were really good! Loved the vibe of this place!! I had no idea that a brewery like this was so close to my house. We found it on Yelp on a Saturday afternoon and decided to check it out. They definitely need more signage out front so that people know that it's here! I have passed by this building space so many times and you would have no idea because there's no signs for it. First impressions were that we loved the outdoor space. Super super cool and there was tons of activities including an outdoor bar, games, and a live band. We ordered the carne asada fries and the soft pretzals with beer cheese and they were both delicious. You sure do get big portion sizes!! I loved the cider that I tried and my boyfriend enjoyed his beer as well. We hung out inside for a while and then meandered outside when it got darker and the live band was setting up. It was emo night and the music was great!!! Fall out boy, paramore, what more can you ask for. This place is a hidden gem , such a fun spot to hang out and grab food and a drink. Went to hand out with a bunch of friends for a birthday and was blown away by the food and drinks. Every food item we ordered was super tasty and decently priced for the portion. The drinks surprisingly all were good and they had a full bar which helps those who don't drink beer. The atmosphere was cool and a fun container park vibe. The have a lot of grass space to hang out or let the kids run as well , definitely recommend brining a folding chair if you plan to hang out in the grass sections. They also have a basketball court , ping pong table and putting green which I wish I had known before going. My honey planned a Christmas event for his team on a Thursday night and reserved 5 picnic tables with some caterer appetizers which were pretty solid. No pool tables anymore (I asked) to my chagrin, but we did enjoy some ping pong that you just bring your DL to the bartender in the restaurant in order to get paddles and ball. It was our first time at this brewery. We brought some rice rolls from home because i knew our kids would not eat the food there. Once we were there, one of the servers told us that outside food was not allowed so we made sure to put the food away in the cooler we brought. We also have infants in the group who requires milk that needs to be refrigerated. However, another server came up to us 20 minutes later to let us know that outside food was not allowed. At this point, the rice rolls were already put away. He had us open our cooler to inspect it. And then he goes on to lecture us about the policy once again. Now i'm annoyed because the food was already put away so why the hell are you telling me to put it away again! We just spent 800 to 1k buying multiple rounds of $40 cocktails at your facility and you are going to gives us a hard time about a plate of rice rolls that was already put away?! I definitely will not be coming back here again. Actually, I did enjoy it. On at least some days, they have live music in their large courtyard. When I went, it was a pop/rock cover band. Decent beer selection. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I had the 11.6% Madagascar Stall (an imperial stout,) which was good. Their parking is the business complex paid lot but Hangar 24 validates free parking for a good amount of hours.
