This was our first time to hold a company event at Holey Moley Irvine. Addison and Demi did a fantastic job of hosting! They made sure that we had ample supply of drinks/food and gave us clear instructions on how to play. The different themes for the courses were fun but I believe that Addison & Demi set the tone with their cheerful and easygoing manner. This was is quite unique! The ambience is hip, with music from 90's with a twist. There is lots of creative mini golf courses to do. There is a Bar area and dining area. Lots of space for groups, and can accommodate large families as well. ( might have to call in for that if too big of a family) but overall this was a fun date night! There is a hotel next door where there are live escape rooms. I really need to try that next time! The food was yummy! Several pictures on the menu with options for healthy habits. Waiter was very nice and helpful with my choice of food. Highly recommend for date nights! First date, or any birthday celebrations! Fun date night place in OC! We came to holey moley for mini golf for 18 course at 3:45 Pm with a reservation. It was already decently crowded when we came. Interior is like a theme park, they have 3 mini golf courses and a hijinx puzzle room. We came during HH, 3-6 Pm so select drinks were at a a discount. I had the mango margarita ($9) and hubby got the old fashion ($16), cocktails were surprisingly strong, good flavor. The courses are very small and packed so if you are looking for a chill place this is not it. But we did have fun and loved the variety of each hole. We came here for the atmosphere, and had pretty low expectations for the food. Surprisingly, it was really good. The burgers were delicious and the salads and pizza were also tasty. I'm removing 2 stars, because the service at the table was poor. No one greeted us when we were looking for a table (there should be a sign that it's self-seating) and then we waited too long to be acknowledged (there were no other patrons at the restaurant). And it was clear our server could not have cared less. We asked to have our salad dressing on the side and she told us it doesn't come with salad dressing (ummm, ok ?). But yes, there it was, and it was balsamic. And someone put it on the side. But the garlic aioli that I asked for on the side was all over my burger. Weird. Didn't get a chance to play the games here, but I did get a chance to eat here and I was not really disappointed with the food. It's above par for a place of this calibre with burgers that were pretty delicious and pizza that you would find at any pizzeria outside. Portions are huge and definitely enough for even the big eaters. The one thing I can say is service...it is non existent and a real disappointment at the restaurant near the mini golf. . The place had one other table and no one to sit you at the host stand. Once seated you had to call a waiter for service and then you leave a card before ordering. Holey Moley is a fun miniature golf venue with a bar and restaurant located at the Irvine Spectrum. The vibe kind of reminds me of a Dave & Buster's but with miniature golf instead of video games. They have three separate courses (identified by red, blue, and yellow) with nine holes each for a total of 27 holes. You can book one, two, or all three courses. We decided to play all three courses and the cost is reasonable at $36 Thursday through Sunday, or $26 Monday through Wednesday. If you book ahead on the website, there is a very visible 10% coupon which can be used. We arrived and checked in, which was very fast and smooth. They hand you tokens to get golf balls out of the dispenser, then you grab clubs from the "pro shop", and they steer you to one of the three courses to start. We stopped by the bar first to grab a drink. I forgot to take a picture of the bar menu, but they have six signature cocktails in addition to classics, shots, mocktails, beer, and wine. I had the Sugar Caddy ($17) which was just served in a plastic cup and had some candy garnishes. She had the Shark Bait ($17) which was served in a ceramic shark head cup (which you do not get to keep). Both drinks were ok, not great but not bad. They are definitely a little on the pricey side. Most of the individual holes have some sort of theme and are a relatively small size. Most of the holes are par three. The décor is very good, and this location is only about six months old, so everything is still pretty new and not worn. Several of the holes have photo-ops where you can stick your head through the wall and get a picture in the decor. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was pretty busy. There were times where things got pretty backed up, especially if a large group or slower players took a while at each hole. I would definitely try to come earlier in the day, or on a weekday to avoid the crowd and wait times. A lot of people were carrying around drinks, but everybody was well behaved. After we finished all three courses, we visited the restaurant to have lunch. There are several booths and high-top tables in the bar area, and plenty of tables in the restaurant area. It took about ten minutes to flag down a server to order, but service was fine after that, and the food came out in a timely manner. We started with the Snack Cart appetizer (battered dill pickles & jalapenos, $11) which is served in a mini shopping cart. It was a good serving size and the sriracha sauce had a good spice. I had the Steakhouse Burger (smash patty, carmelized onions, horseradish cream sauce, swiss, arugula, and garlic aioli, $16). It is served on a "Nice Buns" stand and was very flavorful and filling. Sides aren't included, but for only $2, you a mini shopping cart full of very good seasoned waffle fries. She had the Thai crunch lettuce cups with ahi tuna ($15 plus $2 extra for tuna). It comes with four good sized wraps, and three different sauces. It was very filling and she loved it. We had a lot of fun, and I'd definitely recommend visiting for some fun. read more

Really cool vibe; great family spot, date night, or just hanging out with friends. Primarily, they are a mini golf space. However, there's a full bar and restaurant, large restroom area (each "stall" is a full room, therefore, you can pick your stall regardless of gender and everyone washes their hands in the same center space), and a "play space" next door (it's like kid games made into adult sizes). For the mini golf, they have 3 main areas (yellow, red, and blue I believe). Based on when you purchase, they'll assign you to a color, alternating so guests spread out. You can purchase in 9, 18, or 27-hole options. (You can also just start off with 9 and purchase more later - is what the staff member shared!) I would keep in mind that obviously if you come at a more crowded time (like 6-8pm), there's a longer wait time between each hole. I like that each hole had its own theme; super cute. They also had staff walking around in case you wanted to order drinks. There was a magician as well in case the wait time was long. read more

Fun time of indoor putt-putt for our grands, family & friends. We did the 18-hole option - choices are 9 / 18 / 27 with each grouping of 9 holes themed differently. Each of the obstacles were nicely designed with a creative use of the space. We did not partake in the dining and refreshment opportunities on hand, but the setting looked inviting as did the bar area. Staff were friendly and interactive. Beyond our experience - there were other groupings of young adults to possible office staffs, to couples also experiencing a good time - and - evidently if one wants to enjoy a cold beverage during their match - one can do so. Holey Moley is located in the Hijinx Hotel at Irvine Spectrum right by Irvine Improv / Umami Burger / Regal Theater. I highly recommend making reservations before you go because it gets very busy, especially on weekends. You start off by checking in at the little desk, and they give you your scorecard and assign you to the red, yellow, or blue/white course, depending on how many holes you paid for. The staff then gives a coin for each person in the party to put into the gumball vending machines in the next room over for a golf ball. This room is also where you pick your golf club. There's also a large dining area inside with food like burgers, fries, etc. and staff walking around while you mini golf to ask if you want any drinks. All of the courses are very creatively designed, but they are small and tight so it can feel claustrophobic. It also doesn't seem like they cap group sizes, so when I went, there was a group of like 10 people ahead of us and we had to wait until they all finished. Each time you finish a course of 9 holes, you have to ask the staff for another coin for each person in order to get another ball if you want to do another course, even if it's included in your reservation already. Overall a good experience, but it'd be best to go on a weekday if possible. Otherwise it will take much longer than the estimated/allotted time to finish the course(s). read more

Visited Holey Moley for a social work event on a Thursday evening, and it was a lot of fun! I parked in the typical garage for the Irvine Spectrum, and it was a quick walk over to the golf club from there. Shoutout to Vanya for the awesome time! She was friendly and attentive and made the check in and ordering process super easy for us. The decor was bold and fun and the holes for mini golf were super creative. We didn't have to wait for other groups that were in front of us. The drink selection was also really clever. I went with the recommended "Watermelon Twinkle Toes" which came in a cute unicorn container, and did not disappoint. I thought it was a great balance of sweet and refreshing with the carbonation. Food was ok, nothing to be super excited about, but was enjoyable, with lots of options for sharing amongst a large group. read more

I feel like this place needs a better reservation system as it almost doesn't make sense to make the reservation, but then have to wait 20 minutes in line before being able to start playing. I finally made it to Holey Moley and honestly... it was such a fun night. This place is pure vibes from the moment you walk in. We went all in and ordered the bathtub drink (because how could you not?) plus the OC Restaurant Week spread -- lemon pepper wings, burger with fries, and churros with ice cream. It was a ton of food and we still ended up taking leftovers home. The wings were the standout savory item for me. Super crispy with tons of flavor from the lemon pepper rub -- the kind where you keep reaching for "just one more." The burger was honestly just okay flavor-wise, but the presentation was ridiculously cute so I'll give it that. Sometimes the aesthetic really does count. But the true showstopper was dessert. The churros were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the center, and dipping them into the ice cream was basically the perfect ending to the meal. And yes... we got the bathtub drink. Was it a little too sweet for me? Sure. Was it adorable and totally worth it? Also yes. Shoutout to our server Demi, who was an absolute queen. We had a party of 8, split up into 2 groups for golf and at first I thought the courses were fairly small for mini golf but also realized that it made the flow of mini golf keep moving. The atmosphere is super cool @ Hijinx & @Holey Moley, the staff is super friendly if we needed anything, we didnt order any food but the drinks were all yummy! Keep your eye out for the speakeasy! The ONLY thing I would change is I wish there were more staff hired specifically for quicker clean up. Some bathrooms needed a bit more attention, and people were leaving their empty glasses on the tables at each hole so we had no where to keep our drinks while we played (first world problem, I know). Holey Moley Golf Club is a mini golf and entertainment venue located at Irvine Spectrum. The brand was created in Australia and has now expanded across the world including multiple locations across the United States. Next to Holey Moley is Hijinx Hotel which has more entertainment such as interactive challenge rooms for groups and more bars. There are three mini golf courses with 9 holes each. It's recommended to make reservations but especially on the weekends because it gets busy. While we played we ordered drinks and they were brought to the golf course for us to enjoy. We ordered the watermelon twinkle toes ($15), hole in one ($13), and rub a dub in the tub ($15) which were all good and came in really unique containers. After we played our holes of golf, we ate at the restaurant. We ordered the brisket loaded fries ($18), shrimp my ride ($16), and a hole lotta meat pizza ($21). The brisket fries were good but on the sweeter side and could've used something spicy or sour like pickled jalapeños or pickled onions. The shrimp was crispy and we really liked the pineapple hot honey dipping sauce. The a hole lotta meat was meaty but I would've preferred if the crust was a little thinner. This is a great place for dates, fun nights out, and even large parties and events such as kids birthday parties. The vibe was lively, fun, and there was a lot to do for everybody. read more

I was about to give this only three stars because of some VERY blasphemous things displayed in one of the holes regarding pineapple on pizza. But after going through all three courses, I think I can let it slide. The first thing I noticed walking in was how colorful and lovely the interior was. It had a retro barcade vibe going on, which made it look really fun. I was very surprised at how many holes they were able to fit inside the place, but I had no problem filling all the holes up with my balls, which were generously provided to me through tokens that I insert into a dispenser. I started off with pink balls but finished the final hole with blue ones. The only thing that really took away from my experience was how crowded it was inside. We had to maneuver our way through the crowds and play the holes out of order because some holes were just backed up. And if we weren't waiting on a group to finish, we felt like we needed to hurry up because a group was waiting on us and we didn't want to hold up the line. Otherwise, the staff were kind and very willing to serve us. They would offer to take our orders and bring us our drinks while we were going through the courses so it was a welcome surprise. All the courses were so unique and so different. They were very interactive. They had a DJ they have servers making sure everyone's drinks are filled. They have shot specials. There was definitely a few adults that were around that were heavily intoxicated and probably should've been kicked out for spilling their drinks on the courses, tripping over things and just acting a fool. Discovered this while visiting the Hijinx Hotel next door. This is a cool and unique miniature golf courses and restaurant combination. When we were here, all the time slots were booked. So we had to make a reservation to come back the next day since we were excited to give this unique place a try. So we booked a slot for the next day for four of us to try. We came back the next day for the 5pm time slot. We checked in at the front counter. Once we were set, they gave us a token to go and get our golf balls and clubs. There are three golf courses, each with 9 holes each. We only tried one of the three golf courses. It was fun, not very challenging in my opinion. But fun none the less. Feels like it was very short. What can you say when each course has only 9 holes. There is also a restaurant inside, but we didn't get a chance to try it. Perhaps next time. read more

i came here back in january with a friend for a belated birthday celebration. i believe they had only recently opened at the time, so there was some room for improvement that i hope has gotten better since. the whole experience was pretty fun. i've never been mini golfing before, so i didn't really know what to expect, but the different themed courses gave a lot of variety and different levels of difficulty. we booked a reservation time to avoid waiting too long for an entry. we were given coins to get our designated balls and picked our clubs based on our heights/length, which was nice. a downside was that they didn't really have a limit or structure for how guests/groups navigated the course. there wasn't any staff guiding people to try to spread out the groups. everyone kind of defaulted to going in order, which makes sense, but it caused bottlenecks pretty easily. we ended up waiting 15-20 minutes for holes that only took about 5 minutes between two people. the spaces can feel a little small, especially on weekends when it gets crowded, so it can come off a bit tight or cramped. we had also been told servers would be going around to order drinks while we played, which we found was not the case for us. the food was fine, though a bit pricey for my taste (props to their presentation though). overall, it was entertaining and it wasn't the worst money i've ever spent for a few hours of fun, but it felt like they prioritized the aesthetic/vibe over the overall experience. read more
