If you order online or through the app, I do recommend checking your order before leaving. Great subs, good portions and they caught they put the wrong bread top on the one they were working on for me... they took another half and cut it up and threw out the extra half leftover, I could've taken that home plain, too, instead of getting that thrown away! $20 for a giant, $12-14 for a regular and a mini was only $8-9. Here's the thing - I tried Jersey Mike's many, many years ago before it became widely popular and had multiple locations. At that time, it was mainly based in the South Jersey area. I was not impressed. I wouldn't call myself a sub snob, but... maybe someone else would. Lol. The meat to bread & other ingredients/condiments ratio was completely off/mismatched. It is what it is. Bad food experiences stick w/me just as strongly as great ones. So, suffice it to say, as Jersey Mike's popular grew over the years, I was both confused & unmoved lol. Every time I wanted to give in & see what the "new" hype was about, I had flashbacks to that awful sub in Long Branch and said, nope! Now that that's been said, I finally decided to give it another go - several years later. What changed my mind? The menu. My friend & I just had to try a chicken cheesesteak, and just for kicks, I decided to give their cold sub another try (hence the "mini" pictured). So, I enjoyed the hot sub more than the cold sub (I've had better elsewhere like Quick Check, WaWa, and even Shoprite deli). Anyway, the chipotle chicken cheesesteak is delicious, a tiny bit salty, and it's missing something - maybe a few dollops of ketchup would take it from good to great. There's not too much you can enjoy at Jersey Mike's while pregnant (I'm nearly there) but normally I'm a huge fan of their sandwiches. Prices are fair and sandwiches come loaded with lots of cold cuts, veggies, etc. Service is always speedy. I recently tried a BLT and was actually really impressed with this. A new go-to pregnancy order! The sandwich came with lots of crispy bacon, and hits the spot for a sandwich fix when cold cuts are not an option. They also have some cheesesteak sandwiches that looked good, so maybe next time. Overall this is always a good place to get a sub and I'm not surprised to see how they've grown in popularity. I didn't plan for lunch and was going to get some fast food until I saw that there was a Jersey Mike's around! You can place your order, pay online and then go pickup contact free. They have a table with the food in bags labeled by name for pickup. They're quick If you're like me and don't feel like ordering online. The have hand sanitizer, everybody is wearing a mask & gloves and have markings on the floor to help enforce social distancing. You probably want to know about the food though right? The quality of their meat seems decent, I don't think it's boarshead but it also isn't "turkey roll". They have all the obvious stuff and make damn good Italian sandwich. You can chose your size, toppings and drink. They have some hot subs as well; cheesesteaks, meatball parm. I recently stopped eating beef and pork products so I just get the turkey sub and they even have vegetarian options as well. The prices are reasonable. The service is friendly. jersey Mikes is the perfect choice for sandwiches, especially if you're in a hurry. Other good think about Jersey Mike's if your trying to reduce your carbon footprint like me, is they don't wrap everything in plastic which makes it a win/win! Enjoy! read more

While I'm not as huge a fan of Jersey Mike's as some family members, I do like to occasionally stop in. The sandwiches are consistently fresh. I think I need to diversify from the standard #11! The subs were yummy as always and decently proportioned with a friendly staff behind the counter. However, despite 6 employees behind the counter when it wasn't all that busy, the dining hall was pretty messy with straw wrappers, sub papers and food crumbs all over the floor. The soda station had dried up spills all over and just generally looked like it hadn't been wiped down all day. Also had some concerns with a young man on the slicer with his hair pulled back into a ponytail but no visor/hat on and an AirPod in his ear while he worked. He sliced meats, took hot sub orders on the meatcase, handled the phone, etc. without ever changing gloves. And as a shortcut for himself I assume, he would slice meat he was going to use on a later sub in advance and leave it sitting on the little flat part of the slicer under the blade. I would almost dismiss this if he'd at least take the time to wipe down that area between meats but when I saw him slice my ham in advance and leave it in the little pool of turkey and roast beef/blood residue that had built up, I had to ask to have it sliced again and placed right onto the bread as should be done. Otherwise the subs were great but with a restaurant set up like Jersey Mike's, employees have to remember they are constantly in the limelight as they are preparing customers' meals. read more

Subs are decent. Food prep people are not. They're all teenagers and the sanitary issues are many. They never actually clean the sandwich board between sandwiches, they just scrape it quickly, which leaves moisture on it from the past sub. i watched the cutter cut 8 sandwiches in a row wothout cleaning the knife. That is horrendous in terms of cross-contamination. If i'm allergic to eggs snd there's mayonnaise on the knife blade, I could have a bad reaction. Food prep 101. Keep the tools clean. When I asked the frat bro idiot to clean the knife he said he always did, which was a blatant lie. So add attitude to the mix. The place needs better training and management. read more

I work near this location and we get takeout from here often. Typically the food is good, although they do often mess up our orders and ignore the notes we input online. Today I ordered a turkey sandwich and halfway through eating my sandwich, I felt something very hard. It seems there was a bone fragment or something in my sandwich. I called to notify the store and they acted as if I was lying about it and asked that I send pictures. I sent them several images and never heard back. I just called again to make sure they got it and was told the store manager wouldn't be in for another 2 days and to call back then. Just left this Jersey Mike's... there are just four people working, with several call outs, but they are KILLING it. There's a line that wraps around inside the store, and these four young workers are moving at warp speed, getting people's orders faster than I could have imagined was possible, smiling, laughing, and being super cheerful and positive the whole time. When I'm in the East Hanover area and craving a sandwich, this is the place I'll visit. I've always had good experiences at this location and haven't had a bad one yet. Although most of the employees I've encountered are of teenage age, I've always been greeted when I enter the establishment and they are courteous when ordering. The restaurant interior is well-maintained and clean which is always a plus. I appreciate how this Jersey Mike's location is receptive to taking phone orders near closing time. This one time I got caught in a bind picking up food for my family because it was around 8:50 pm and I was stuck in line at the Smashburger (My family likes different things so I commonly visit multiple food restaurants) across the street. The employee on the phone was nice enough to take my order and told me I was in no rush. Since I knew the place closed at 9 pm I ended up briskly walking across the street to pick up the order. While I pushed the limits of closing time, the employee greeted me in the same way as if I was there during normal hours. With food chain restaurants and younger staff that scenario doesn't always play out so well but I definitely appreciated the customer service that night. All in all, I enjoy this location of Jersey Mike's Subs. The food is fresh and the customer service is great. If this location wasn't out of the way from where I live, I'd probably order here more often. If you are looking for recommendations for food, the #9 Club Supreme and the #17 Philly Cheese Steak are some nice options. Give this place a try! read more

Great customer service and tasty fresh subs at the Parsippany location. Employees are knowledgeable, courteous and we are always greeted with a smile and hello. The subs we order are always delicious, and made just the way we like them - Mike's way... Our fav's are #17 Philly Cheesesteak, #10 Tuna, #13 The Original Italian. We can order online pickup or have delivered via door dash, lots of parking if we decide to dine there, and discounts with Mike's rewards - join and earn points towards free subs every time you purchase a sub. We always get great service at this location and a good sandwich, too. They seem to always have everything in stock, and it's all fresh too. I find it better tasting and a better value for the money than other chain sub shops. My only complaint is that if you're eating in the restaurant, it can be a really hectic place. It's set up so the line (if it's long, and it tends to be on weekends) goes past all the tables. I know it's likely unavoidable due to the setup of the restaurant, but makes for a loud, less enjoyable eating in experience. So, take it home if possible. read more

Excellent subs! I went there while they were doing a four day fundraiser doing sandwiches for $2.00. The place was packed and I still didnt wait more than ten minutes for my order which means they move fast during lunch time. The lady behind the counter could not have looked more bored or annoyed at our arrival (no other customers when we went in). She then proceeded to make my sandwich with white bread without even asking first. When I asked for wheat bread she gave me major attitude as if to say I was really holding her up and it was unreasonable of me to want wheat bread. The unprofessionalism of the East Hanover store is unbelievable. I had walked in to order a "Giant #13" for a kids birthday party. She took the order and said "Pay first"--I did and told the employees that while they were making it "Mike's Way", I was going to run next door and get a balloon at Party City. As I was leaving, the employee had her co-worker take an order and ring up someone she knew personally. When I came back in 10 minutes later, the employee looked at me and said she completely forgot about my order and walked into the back. She had a male colleague start my sandwich and she came back in to finish it. While she was making the sandwich, she asked if I had paid for it (I had). In any other Jersey Mike's I have been to, they waited until the order was complete before asking for payment. This employee (who was not wearing a name tag) seemed to be only concerned about getting payments and hooking up her friends. Don't waste your time dealing with the unprofessionalism of the East Hanover Jersey Mike's. This place over jimmy Johns, subway, etc any day period. The food is fresh. Fairly priced and the staff always engages in conversation with customers. I eat here about 3 times a week for lunch and I've never witnessed anything negative while eating or ordering here. This location is a standout. It's new so it's clean. Also the staff is very friendly. Their chicken cheesesteaks rock.

The meat is suspect. Watery turkey and def not Thumans or Boars Head quality. If they got real turkey for example instead of ground turkey parts with water in a bag, the sandwich would be great. Good bread, fresh lettuce and tomatoes for sure...but the fake Jersey Mike brand meat is a non starter for us.
