Went here for lunch for the first time. I don't like very spicy food so I was a bit nervous. I ordered the combo meal wrap, no heat, and even though it says, it may still be a little spicy it was flavorful not spicy. I got extra pickles because I love pickles. The wrap was delicious. I would order it again. It was so big. I could only eat half so I have half for dinner tonight. The waffle fries were crispy and good. The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. The only thing I didn't like about the bathroom was there were no paper towels just an air dryer and the air was cold. To order our meal, we use the computer with no problem. But we had to wait a long time for our meal so when I walked up to the counter to find out where our meal was, I saw it was sitting on the side and the girl didn't even realize our meal was ready she was just playing on her phone. The chicken is really good, tender, crispy and flavorful. Be careful with the spice level medium is at my limit and I like spicy food. The hot level would be way too spicy for most people. The Korean bites are really good and what GENRAL Tso's chicken should taste like, nice and crispy and stands up to any sauce you want to toss them in. The funnel cakes are very addictive and the next thing you know they are all gone, some of the best around. Definitely eating here again! read more

The food was terrible. I order chicken bites. No pickles even though they are included. My "chicken" tasted like pure powder. The floors were sticky. I'll never be eating at this location ever again. Three and a half stars. Overall, it is okay. My daughter really loved it though. She had the hot sandwich at a medium level. Her biggest complaint was the size of the chicken and it was too big and hung off of the bun. I tried the chicken tenders at the medium spice level and it was just okay. The waffle fries were solid. Nashville chicken? While it might not be the authentic Nashville chicken I've experienced, it's one of the best chicken sandwiches in Nova. The sandwich itself is large, juicy, spicy and addicting. This is your spot if you're in the mood for good fries and a delicious chicken sandwich. When I visited, the place had just had its grand opening. Uh oh, this is dangerous. It's so good! Fried chicken, especially spicy fried chicken is my favorite. I try not to indulge in it too much because of how it makes me feel AFTER but in this case, I actually didn't feel too bad. I think that's a sign of clean frying oil and fresh ingredients. This wasn't on my list to try because I thought it would be a standard chicken joint, but not the case! It's actually a Korean take on Nashville hot chicken so they had tons of options for sandwiches, salads, nuggets, tenders, and wings with various dry and wet rub variations. The Chicken Sando Jr. was the perfect size. It was my first time so they warned me against going for the hot option. I went with medium and it had a kick, but as someone who enjoys ghost peppers, I'll likely try the hot and very hot options soon. The waffle fries (and the sandwich itself) was better than Chik-fil-a. It came with a yummy sauce too. My picky self wished they had a multi-grain or wheat bun option like Chik-fil-a, but I'll live. It's a brioche bun, so bonus points for that. I can't say it was better than Popeyes, because I'm loyal, but gives Jollibee some competition. Popeyes is super crispy and melts in your mouth probably due to some buttermilk marinade process so nothing beats that. McDonald's chicken sandwiches aren't really in the running. They also have boba! I got the strawberry milk with boba and it was tasty, but I couldn't personally finish the whole thing. I'd definitely go back and try all of their other offerings! The sloppy chicken sando was def that as it was a very big saucy piece of chicken and the flavor was spicier than I expected but tolerable (I wouldn't recommend it if you can't tolerate any spiciness), and the sauce kind of had a metallic taste to me, I also didn't care for the slaw on it (I'd get it on the side next time). We ordered at the kiosk but there is a counter to order at as well. Our food was delivered to our table fast! The loaded waffle fries are enormous! Easily could be a meal on their own. My chicken sando had to have at least a 12oz breast if not a pound. I went safe & got the medium spice sauce but I could see the appeal of going hotter. The interior is roomy with a fun customized mural on the wall. It's good they have a lot of tables in here because this place is going to blow up and become a Leesburg staple. Was excited to try this new Chicken restaurant when the signage went up. I ordered the chicken tenders (mild) and waffle fries to go through the online ordering system. I wish there was a description of that the different sauce options tasted like; but because there wasn't I blindly ordered the zing and hangry sauce. The quality of the chicken was very good and the portion size was also good. I will say besides the "heat", the chicken didn't have a lot of flavor to me and the sauces didn't add much to the taste. The waffle fries were good but would've been better if they were fried just a tad bit shorter. I may give this place another shot to try some of the other sauce flavors offered. read more

My family loves eating at Hangry Joes, and it was my first time eating at the Ashburn location. As soon as I arrived, I noticed how clean the store and atmosphere were. The workers were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. All the food that we ordered was so good. We got a variety of wings, chicken sandos, tenders, and mac and cheese. The chicken is very tender and juicy, and the breast patties in the chicken sandos are massive. In terms of quality and quantity relative to price-point, this place is better than every other fried chicken sandwich shop. I tried the boba drinks for the first time here (didn't even know they had boba drinks), and they were also really good. You wouldn't usually expect boba tea at a fried chicken joint. The bubbles were very soft and chewy and the drinks were very flavorful! Just try them!!! read more

Chicken Sandwich: Was huge, (if you're looking for quantity) but the meat was dry and lacking flavor. Marinating and pressure cooking the chicken would probably be better. The spicy flavor actually came from the sauce and not the chicken itself. Fries: Were overcooked and tough. The batter may have contributed to that. Just plain cooked waffle fries without the batter may be better..and fresh cut fries. Those tasted frozen. Coleslaw: The flavorless coleslaw on top of the sandwich was a bit much also. Guess you could say, it just wasn't my cup of tea. Condiments: Not enough condiments. Asked for mayo and all they had was the one sauce they offer for the sandwich--which I didn't care for. Came in for lunch today and was extremely disappointed. I was in the middle of my sentence ordering when the male worker, Tim, felt the need to interrupt me to let me know my bra was showing. After that I finished my order and he continued to look down at my chest while the person with me ordered and continued to make me feel like an object while I'm trying to enjoy lunch. I ended up sitting outside due to how uncomfortable I felt. when we went in to talk to him he responded with "well it was out". I later called the restaurant to speak to a manager and was told that "he needs to be trained more" overall I like hangry joes and have been there many times. I'm disappointed to say I will never be back there and encourage young women to try a different establishment. read more

Chicken Sando here is as good as anybody's in NoVa. The chicken is huge and makes a satisfying meal. Slaw is more vinegary- in a good way- and complements the sandwich well. Fries I are ok; don't care for the seasoning; tastes like Old Bay. Cold teas, lots of varieties, are delicious. Shakes are awesome. Leesburg location is still working out the kinks with the service. Just had lunch there with my young son and nothing but vulgar music played in the restaurant. When I nicely asked the lady working to change the station because of the cursing, she said she didn't know how to change the station. When I asked for someone else to help she said no one else that worked there could speak English to help me. The music was horrendous and I will be contacting a manager. You wait FOREVER to get your food and 9 out of 10 times it's wrong! One time we had asked for no pickles on a sandwich and it came with pickles. We sent it back, they simply took the pickles off and sent it back to our table. Pickles leave behind a horrid taste and this was NOT the way to correct the mistake.
