This is a turn-off. The order taker didn't ask what kind of cheese I wanted on my "wreck" sub, he put Swiss on and I asked to change to American. Very good experiences here. The sandwiches are reasonably priced for how much you get. I ordered a Lucky 7 and a Sicilian. The app says that they're exclusive to the app only so there's that. The Lucky 7 was definitely my favorite. It had tons of meats on it and felt like a sandwich worth its weight. It also had a lot of complexity to the flavor. The Sicilian was just alright to me. It had meatballs, marinara and mushrooms. Felt like it was lacking honestly. The Voodoo heat chips are my favorite to go with a sandwich here. The service here was quick and friendly every time we've been here. The staff on my last trip were super chill. The ambiance is very causal. Some coworkers took me to Potbelly. It is located in a large shopping center that also has Wegman Market, close to Chick-fil-A. Nice store, good decor. Pretty spacious. Terrible service. I only get 30 minutes for lunch where I work. I usually try to order ahead of time so I can be in and out as quick as possible. I called ahead to order and the guy on the phone said "We're not busy right now, you can just come in and place the order" not what I wanted to do but I didn't want to argue with the guy, so I just clocked out, drove to the store, and figured I could just eat there and then rush back instead of scarfing down my food in my car like I usually do. When I got there the place was PACKED. (Not busy my ass) after five minutes I just decided to leave. I tried calling back to see if I could place an order for later, but the guy on the phone (same guy who said it wasn't busy btw) said "It's really busy right no, we can't take your order". I just wanted a chicken club man, not even a complex customized order or anything, I would get it if I started spouting off like 20 different combinations of condiments and toppings and the guy said, sorry I can't do that right now, but this is just a started menu item that I wanted to set up to pick up an hour later, and they couldn't even do that. Now I'm writing this review from my car out of pure anger instead of eating. Now I have to work through lunch. Thanks Potbelly. I should've just gone to chipotle again, at least they can take an order and get it out in time. But god forbid I wanna mix it up once in a while. I honestly don't understand this location. This location has an uncanny ability to make every single sandwich incorrectly. I'll order delivery direct from Potbelly and the stickers will say the correct order and there will multiple issues with the sandwich. For example: we've ordered chicken Mediterranean and gotten no chicken, no hot peppers (which should be a crime tbh) and tomatoes when there shouldn't be. It's pretty bad; it's not just having to pluck off a tomato. I reached out to corporate and got aggressive calls from a local manager. No thanks. I don't know if they're short staffed or simply don't care, but we used to order Potbelly at least once a week and I have no desire to eat at Potbelly anymore. Bummer. read more

I like this place. It's next to Wegmans and the staff moves with urgency so you'll be in and out even if the line is long (which can happen). Shakes are great and of course their sandwiches are awesome. I always get the T-K-Y sandwich which is their thinner leaner version of the turkey sandwich. Potbelly is a great place to go for quick sandwiches, soups, and salads. This location is in the wegmans shopping center next to Robek's. There is also a playground for kids outside of this potbelly's. You can eat inside or outside. Atmosphere is friendly, casual, and fun. They have local musicians play everyday around lunch time which is kinda cool. I think they get free sandwiches if they play. In case you know anyone that is trying to get their music heard. I like potbelly because their portions are not super huge. It's just right. You don't feel stuffed after eating their sandwiches. Wreck salad is pretty good too. I am often all about the quick lunch, as I'd rather spending my hour shopping and wondering around with my friend Q than eating at one of the same 5 places that we always eat (although I'm trying to break him of this habit.) Potbelly provides a quick eat in dining experience with excellent quality sub sandwiches. I have never had a bad experience at any Potbelly location, this one just happens to be closest to work. I typically go with the chicken salad on white or if I'm being healthy the turkey on wheat. They charge the same amount for all of their tasty sandwiches ($4.19) and you can get several different sides (mac salad, potato salad, coleslaw, chips, etc.) They really have the quality that Subway tends to lack. My favorite part of any sandwich that I get there is how they slice the pickles (I know strange right?) they are cut thin, length wise, so you get a tasty bite of pickle in each sandwich! If you are not completely full from your sandwich, I highly advise checking out either their oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (YUM) or one of their milk shakes. I dont advise trying both or you'll be in a food coma by the time you get back to your desk! read more

After his, I went up and ordered for my daughter and I. He, in a really obnoxious way, stared at the bread like "Ummm...what do you want?" The Ugly: The cashier girl was the worst of all. She was like "Ok, what do you have?" I told her, and I asked for fountain drinks. When I was getting my wallet, I hadn't noticed that the kids had grabbed them, and I asked, "Oh, do I just grab the cups?" She raised her voice, "Didn't I just GIVE them to you?" She is so lucky that I've been meditating and are in a great place. After we ate and were leaving, she looked up and then went back to texting on her phone. There was no "Have a nice day" or even a smile. If I want to go to Potbelly, I'll go to the one in Fair Oaks. When we get our haircuts, we will go to another place. read more

I've come to this location several times because I work nearby and my coworkers and I love getting it for lunch. That being said, I have NEVER had a good experience here while the big black guy is working. I can't remember his name, maybe it's Jesse? Not sure, but my god does he have a shitty attitude. He talks down to me like I'm stupid, and is just so rude. My last visit, my coworker and I had just gotten off work and were both in line. It wasn't too busy, maybe 3 other parties in the place. This guy is making my sub and is complaining the entire time "I haven't gotten any of my stuff done, you people need to stop coming in" then he says very loud "i advise you ALL to just go home and cook YOURSELVES some food" i just stood there like what. (I had had a really bad day myself and just wanted this damn sandwich) so I said "look. I've had a really shitty day so just make my sandwich please" he starts rolling his eyes and literally throwing stuff on my sandwich and tosses it to me. The Manassas location is 100x better.
