Hesitant to go based on reviews, I do at times, ignore and check it out myself with the previous reviews in my head. So today I gave in and tried breaded wings. Well although gold brown bone. In and bit juicy not all were good. Seems that cabot problem are many, and a few of the chicken places ive been to another place in cabot. I think they need to adjust timers when cooking because the big wings come out more raw than the others, which I had 2 questionable ones, which ruins the meal. All should cooked based on the biggest wing. Other food was fine, fries good, drinks were acceptable. Not certain I would come back if it involved with. Good luck ! I as similar a another instance 2 days early and got sick, it may be the timing of the chicken two where there just golden brown, and not fully cook inside. Line chief, cooks etc, need to adjust these temps or time to cook. read more

I ordered up front a NO SPICY loaded Mac & cheese. & when I finally got it, it was covered in hot sauce & jalapeños. & when I looked at the receipt it said no heat, but I could literally smell the heat. When I asked to take it back & showed them, they told me to just buy another one. & they wouldn't try to work with me at all. Never eating here again. read more

3.5 stars. The service was great. Very kind and helpful staff. They offer a cool spot for kids to play games and are very cool with the noise that comes with that. The food was just okay. We ordered the happy hour specials of the hangry dog combo and the Sando jr combo. We had to go back up and ask for the fries because they didn't realize it was combos. But that was no big deal! The chicken definitely needed more seasoning and the special sauce was lacking. We ordered them mild just to be safe. The options are: no seasoning. No heat. Mild. Medium. Hot. And angry hot. The mild tasted plain to me. So I wish I had ordered at least the hot to actually have a flavor and could tell. But overall it's a good, casual environment and family friendly. If they work out the kinks, I'm sure it'll be a better spot. read more

I had Korean chicken it had four small pieces of chicken with rice it costs $10.95 and wife got a simple chicken wrap that cost $11.95 with some fried okra. So we didn't get anything fancy. Went in and placed my order on Thursday during the lunch rush and hangry joes did not disappoint. I was informed it was cooked to order which made it more satisfying knowing that hangry joes cooks decadent, fresh chicken! It was worth the 15 min I had to wait and it is good to know this food is not sitting on a heat oven waiting to be thrown in a bag and sent home with you. Great experience and great service. I also appreciate the smiles and polite hospitality they offer. I will definitely be back! I'll be spreading the word. Make sure you get here Cabot people. You will love it! read more

Thought we would give this place a try. He ordered the wings. I ordered a chicken wrap. The wings were not hot temp wise) and were SO greasy. The wrap was awful. The chicken was cold, the thing barely stayed together and it had random clumps of cheese all in it. The fries were stale. My order was incomplete. They didn't give me any sauces (which cost $1 each). Didn't give me pickles. It is INCREDIBLY overpriced and not even close to worth what they're charging. Some of the chicken has no seasoning while the other half is caked in seasoning. The best thing they have are the funnel cake fries. I finally took the time to try Hangry Joe's. I've read many reviews some good some not so good and I just wanted to figure it out for myself. Ended up getting a hot Junior sandwich, and 12 wings half breaded no sauce, half with the lemon. I just wanted to have an idea if I liked it, on what to order the next time I went. Suffice to say, there won't be a next time. The plain breaded wings were exactly that plain, flavorless, and not to my liking. Even felt not quite cooked enough. The lemon wings just felt slimy and gross to me. Was unable to finish them. I've tasted the supposed. "hot "chicken sandwich which I'll take for lunch tomorrow, but I was unimpressed with it as well. I've never eaten more average food in my life. As for the service, I was the only one in there, and I felt like it was outstanding, the woman who helped me was kind and gracious and recommended things when I had questions. I liked her. However, at the end of the day it's supposed to be about the food. And I just can't do any of it again. read more

We had four people and we all ordered our own food. All of the food was good but... the price was $87 for those four people. The portions were pretty small. We all tried the loaded fries and there was not but maybe 6-8 fries in each meal. Needless to say we all left with empty stomachs and empty wallets. read more

Chicken ( spicy) sandwich can probably win a competition at the county fair. Spices are true to good cooking , they light you up with taste and seasoning. They don't burn your taste buds off with some obscene combination of incendiaries. Recommend to try anything , if they do any other item half as good as chicken sandwich , it also will be awesome. read more

Tried it for the first time a few days ago and it wasn't bad but there's also nothing that stood out to me to make me love this place. The people working there are very nice and it looks like a clean environment. I had ordered a few different things from the menu to try since it was my first time and it was all good but the loaded mac & cheese was cold when I got it so that was kind of disappointing. The chicken that they serve is very big so be mindful of that and they don't play around about the spices on the chicken so you should be cautious when choosing the spice level. The fries were very good and so was their chicken and waffles. I hate to say this, but honestly it reminded me of Slim chickens and I think I still would prefer that over hangry joes. Like I said, it's still a good place to eat and try, but I still don't think there was anything that stood out to me. read more

This place was great and the staff were so nice. The location did just open so they are definitely getting into the groove of things so keep that in mind. Service is average at best, no complaint there. The food was actually pretty yummy imo. I ordered the large chicken bites and enjoyed the texture and cook on the chicken and fries. The problem?....NO HEAT!!! I'm a pepper head and chase real heat. They advertise the "Angry Hot" dry rub, that is supposedly so hot a "waiver is required". After I ordered it and was not given a waiver or anything close I was worried about false advertising. My worries were cemented. Their hottest option isn't hot at all. Hattie B's "shut the cluck up" sauce, while only somewhat hot, is way hotter than this. If you like heat and are seeking an adventurous meal, go elsewhere! If you want to enjoy decent fried food that is a bit overpriced, eat here. read more
