I did eat about half of a serving before giving up. The chicken was rubbery and bland. The waffle was dense and also pretty bland. The French fries were a bit too potato-y for my liking. Everything felt too greasy and not flavorful. It all absolutely needed a sauce that they charge nearly $2 extra for. We had one maple bourbon sauce to share and it was tasty but not enough for two people so I kept dousing everything in the maple syrup that was on the table. My dining partner said, "I don't think even that much syrup will help." When I couldn't finish, even my teenaged, eat-anything, and budget-conscious kid said, "just toss it. It is not worth saving." Though it was after 2pm when we had this lunch, neither of us felt hungry for dinner that night- and not really in a "wow that was so good it filled me up" way. Stack House likely does a great hangover food business. If I'm back in the area, I will try something else next time.
