Heard about this place from a co-worker. They were right, the food was fantastic. We had to wait almost an hour for a brisket sandwich, turkey leg and sides. Fortunately I wasn't in a hurry so I wasn't too upset about the time. What turned me off was when I went back to the counter to place a to go order so I could take to work the next day for lunch (yes, the food was that good) and I was told they were not taking orders at that time. It was 3:00 in the afternoon. I asked if they were closing and was told no, they were open until 8:00 PM. I asked why they weren't taking orders and the lady just shrugged her shoulders. Came from out of town after seeing this place on TikTok. It lived up to the hype. My son got wings, mac n cheese and cornbread. The wings were huge and he says it's the best mac n cheese he's had. This is the second time we have ordered from Hank's. The first time we dined in and it was so delicious. This time we called in a to-go order consisting of the rib dinner with mac & cheese and a stuffed baked potato. When we arrived to pick it up we were told they had no baked potatoes and instead substituted loaded fries. We were disappointed but didn't want to wait by ordering something else. When my husband paid he noticed on the receipt that he had been charged for the potato which was $2 higher than the fries. When he pointed this out to the cashier she told him she didn't know how to refund his money. In hindsight he should have asked for another side or something to make up for the difference. Also, the ribs were tasty like the first time but this time they were really thin and didn't have a lot of meat. Not sure if we will be back anytime soon. read more

Food took seemingly forever to get to the table and when it did, I said thank you and the girl didn't even make eye contact and said nothing in response. To pour salt in that wound i had to pay the tip at the register and if id known what to expect, i would have left no tip at all.
