WARNING! I gave them a two-star review, and the owner was quite upset and even threatened to sue me. If you don't like something about this place, you'd better shut up and let others find out for themselves. I sent a text and asked if they had any 30" electric range. They texted back and said to "stop by." I sent my guy there and they didn't have any. His reply to my review was: "What's the deal with a two star review? I did know you were looking for an electric stove, because you never told me you were looking for an electric stove. It's my fault? How naive and ignorant are you?" Well, it's true that I didn't say I wanted to buy an electric range; I only asked if they had any. That shows how "naive and ignorant" I am. So be very specific when dealing with these people. Paid for a washer he said he would deliver it but when he arrived he forgot the connections for it. He said he would it the next day. I told him NO! He came back , installed the washer. Couple hours later cockroach's came from underneath and where the knobs are located !! Sooo yeah I wouldn't buy from here if i was you . (I had to put my own kwik seal on it . ) For those who want to read the full story here it is.... my cousin bought me a washer machine and she told me to go pick it up I arrive at the store I give him the receipt and then he puts it on a dolly and we walk to my car he goes this is a really nice car I don't think that you should mess it up do you have a dolly and I said no but I will figure it out once I get to my place you know he was like I can help you I can put it in my truck and I can deliver it to you it will cost you $40 and I said well that's very very nice yes please here's my address and here's my phone number he says I close the shop around five and then wait till traffic dies down I said OK it turns 7 PM and still no word from him so I call the company and then he says that he's on his way I say cool see you when you get here he text me and says that he is outside I greet him outside he grabs the washing machine off of the truck and then he comes inside the house and he pulls it into the laundry room and then he says well I forgot the cords so you won't be doing any washing today I said that's very unprofessional and I paid you for your time and the washing machine comes with the cords I don't understand how you could forget that he says well I switched trucks and I just caught a ride with my friend and I left the chords in my truck I told him that is not my problem I did not pay partial for this washing machine so I shouldn't have to wait for tomorrow because of your incompetence I told him that this was unacceptable and that he was going to go to the shop to get the cords and then come back and hook up my washing machine...... he says OK hey look here's your $40 back but my driver he's on his own schedule so I don't know if that's going to work and then he goes do you want me to take it back I said now why would you do that I have already paid for this washing machine so why would you take it back the washing machine also comes with its cords but you forgot them so we're gonna go outside and talk to your little friend and see what's the verdict...... I go straight to the driver side and then I tell the driver that your little friend here forgot the cords and that's very unprofessional I don't know what you have to do or what you have going on but this is a business and he needs to handle his business the driver agreed he said OK we'll be back I said OK perfect I'll be waiting.............. I honestly did not think that they would come back but sure enough they did and he came in he hooked it up plugged it in and tightened it up made sure everything was functional and he was like yeah this is a good one we talked about the machine for a little bit we talked about how my new townhouse was so freaking empty we talked about a tiny little dog we talked about his tiny little apartment we talked for a while and then so I gave him his $40 back and he said thank you I said you're welcome and then he had left........................ when I came back inside I seen a cockroach and I was like yeah and I stepped on it and then I'm like that's very weird don't like that..... so I sprayed down the entire washing machine outside and inside to clean it because it's a used appliance and then I ran it two times to get any type of debris or hair or chemicals whatever out .....0k.... lol....... so I'm so excited I'm like bang I'm bout to wash my first load so excited I grabbed my yellow laundry basket and before I could open the lid there was another cockroach I said ewww and then took off my shoe and then squished it..... i'm like OK that's two of them and I don't like where this is going really I don't so I did not put my clothes in the washer I put some old blankets and some towels you know like the towels that I used to wash my car with inside the washer with vinegar and baking soda and laundry detergent and then I turned it on....... it did run like a champ however once it got done and I took the towels out of the washer and into the dryer and as I'm going to close the lid I see another cockroach I say EWW and I let the lid go and it slammed, BANG! Little ugly God's creation went nuts and started running around in circles while I'm trying to smash it with my shoe and then it goes underneath where the knobs are and I was like oh hell no! So at the end of the day I'm going to use this machine for outside purposes it will not be inside my house I will not be infested and I also personally caulked all around the border! I first met George about 10 years ago when I needed to switch out a plug from gas to electric. He showed me how to do it!!! My first experience at Hanna's appliance was great. George, the owner, is very nice and helpful with selecting the right appliance for my needs. Alright..its been a little over two months and I said I would update on how the machines I got at such a good discount are holding up. The washing machine is working like a charm. Washes huge amounts of clothes perfectly and come out smelling all clean. The dryer on the other hand takes forever to dry the loads. Most of them take about three cycles of about an hour just to dry! That's crazy to me and it doesn't help the electric bill! Washer=Great! Dryer=BOO!!! Walked in and bought a very reasonably priced washer and dryer set that was delivered and installed immediately and this was on Christmas Eve. They even hauled off my giant piece of garbage old set. I just bought a new house, and we went to Hanna's because they had a working vintage refrigerator for sale. They gave us a fantastic deal, throwing in the refrigerator for free when we purchased a dishwasher and a freezer. I paid more than I wanted to for these items because of the large gift we were being given. When we got the refrigerator home, it did not work. It appears that something had broken in the loading process. We took it back to Hanna's, and he said he would try to fix it for us. In the meantime, we did not have a refrigerator. Because of this, I purchased a newer refrigerator for $350 dollars. After 3 weeks, I have now gone to Lowe's and purchased a brand new refrigerator and dishwasher. The refrigerator we purchased used first froze everything that we had (with the freezer not working), and then when we turned down the refrigerator and turned up the freezer, the refrigerator stopped working altogether. The freezer is now on it's lowest setting because it is so cold that it has frozen all of the dials and ruined all of the food. The refrigerator does not even get mildly cool anymore. The dishwasher sold to us had to be professionally installed (which is $200), and then did not drain. Loads had to be run multiple times, and the heat dry option did not work. Finally, there is a piece missing from the bottom that helps the unit to run quietly. This piece was missing when we purchased the unt (which we did not know). I understand that you purchase things used as-is. That being said, I believe that the verbal and personal assurances of a retailer that an item is in good working order stands as an understanding between the two parties that this is a mutually beneficial arrangement with proper representation of the items involved. With 3 out of my 4 purchases not being working, I think that in this case Hanna's grossly misrepresented themselves and their product. I would not recommend that you purchase any items from this retailer. read more

it is really a gamble if you buy stuff from this place. both the washer and dryer i bought from there have stopped working with 6 months. the washer stopped working on day 1, i had to ask a friend to drive it back to get it fixed. if you have a truck and some muscle, it might work. otherwise, buy new ones. do not believe what he tells you on warranty, unless you can get it on writing and are willing to take it to the court. craigslist is better read more

This is the most horrible business in Sacramento. They pick up broken appliances then sell then after lying to prospective buyers about their age and condition. They represented a 12 years old set as 4-5 years old so we bought it. Took it home & the washer valve was broken & water wa streeming into the tub when it wan't even on. Never worked! The dryer only works on one cycle. Will cost more than we paid to fix both. The owner is very rude and refused to pick-up the units &/or make repairs. Who would trust him anyway. This owner is VERY rude and disrespectful. He,for sure, does not know or heard of customer service! My husband and I bought a dryer and a washer at this place and also referred a lot of people over the years to the owner( unfortunately)The washer we bought from him a month and 3 days ago, stopped draining water. I called his store to see what he can do for us, he never returned my call. My husband and I drove to his store and explained what happened. To my surprise, the owner was disrespectful and vulgar. He also kept saying that we probably overloaded the machine and compared it to a "flat tire" meaning it is not his fault if this washing machine stopped working 33 days after we bought it from him as a new tire would! I asked him if he could send someone, that we would pay, to take a look at it, He rudely refused. I wish I had never bought anything from him and regret all the business I sent him all these years. He offered to look at the washer but demanded for us to bring it back to his store! The machine is full of water, it took us a very long time for my husband and I to take it up the stairs(remember, I am a women!!!). His answer to me when I asked him if he could send someone (again that we would gladly pay) is that it was not his fault if the machine is on our top floor!!! And to get out of his store! I would NOT/NEVER recommend to buy anything at this place as there is no after sale service or even a profesionalisme to be expected of this place and its owners at any time. I purchased a used washer/dryer set from this place last summer. The washer failed to work on the first load. Hanna picked it up, said it was fixed, and delivered an entirely different, less valuable washer without even consulting with me. When I said I did not want this washer they refused to take it back unless I paid a 25% restocking fee! No prior notice had been given of this fee. I fortunately had charged this on a VISA card (for an additional 3% charge) and disputed the charge. Hanna responded to everyone that I had the washer I selected. Fortunately I had a witness to the purchase. After almost three months of having my $442 in limbo, a BBB complaint, an independent evaluation of the washer they wanted me to accept, and gobs of conversations with third parties they accepted my VISA dispute without any admission of wrong doing or apology. The BBB was worthless in this ordeal. Despite being advised of the ethics of their member they continue to rate them A+. Clearly membership fees are more valuable to them than honest business practices. My VISA provider, Chase, was my strong supporter and probably the only reason I got the refund. Unless you want to deal with a bait-and-switch place do not purchase from Hanna! read more

These guys have the poorest customer service ever. All I wanted to do was sell them my used dryer as they advertised AND told me they would buy. Called down there a few days before and they said "sure no problem bring your dryer down and we'll take a look at it and take it off your hands". I spent the morning getting a pick up from my Father and getting it loaded. Took time off of work for it too. When I got down there the idiot tells me "sorry, we don't buy used gas dryers". WHAT?? I said. I just called a few days ago, gave you all the specs on the dryer and YOU told me to bring it on down no problem. "Nope, it wasn't me. Maybe it was another guy who works here...I don't know"! The guy was just plain RUDE! Didn't apologize, nothing just looked at me and walked back in his office. WOW!!!
