    I ordered a seafood pancake and kimchi soondubu for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with how much food they gave me. They gave me some banchan with cucumbers, squid, bean sprouts, japchae and kimchi. The soondubu came in a large tub with rice, but could have used more spice. The seafood pancake was a bit too oily and mushy (delivery is probably not best for this!). Everything was pretty good here; I would order again!

    The japchae tasted good but the bulgoki was a bit dry. Had #28 marinated beef the other day and it was really good. It's at a food court so lots of noise is expected. The cashier was polite.

    The male employee had a bright & warm smile on his face which felt welcoming as I was getting ready to decide what to get for dinner. It was super hard to choose only one single dish as everything had looked scrumptious from the menu with colorful & accurate-looking food pics + detailed descriptions of all the listed ingredients for each of the food options. The vendor was a small, no-frill looking kind of area just like the rest of the other booths at Food Gallery 32. Typically, seafood + beef + pork are more expensive proteins in comparison to chicken. Tonight, I was craving for chicken especially something hot to warm my stomach since it had gotten a bit chilly & windy after the pouring rain just now not too long ago. So, I ended up choosing the Spicy Soft Tofu Stew w/ Chicken that's served in a Korean 'onggi' (옹기) aka a 'Korean earthenware pot.' The total came out to be roughly around $15. The price range is average for K-Town in general. This particular type of pot is used to serve the stew as a way to keep the temperature of the food hot plus maintain the rich flavors during the whole meal. Then, staff handed me the change, a beeper, and the receipt after paying at the register counter. When the food is ready and/or the beeper starts flashing red lights + vibrating, that's the signal for you to go pick up your meal. Didn't take too long, I would say the prepping and cooking were like 15 mins altogether which wasn't bad at all for a weekday. Of course, it might take slightly longer on the weekends. I looked around for somewhere to sit down and can't wait to start digging in!!! Luckily, I quickly found a seat two steps away from the vendor I'd just ordered from. It was served with a plastic container of steamed white rice and a small banchan (side dish) of bean spouts and thinly sliced fish cakes in a plastic container. Was a bit disappointed not to see the familiar slices of yellow pickled radish being included in each person's meal whether you've ordered a meaty stew or bowl of glass noodles with veggies and/or meat. I began to slurp the soup hungrily and almost burned my tongue from it. There was some spiciness to the soondubu jjigae (spicy soft tofu stew) but it was only a mild to mid-spicy kind of taste in my opinion. Love seeing that vibrant orange color of the piping hot deliciousness bubbling in the black clay pot. I'm so happy that I can really taste the mild to mid-spicy kick from each flavorful sip, the softness and smoothness of the soft tofu rolling around, the tenderness of the boneless chicken pieces, and lastly the softness of the onion slices in between of every bite. Loved that nothing had either tasted too salty or too bland, everything was just right in its own way. And did I ever mention that there was actually lots of chicken pieces from the stew?!? To me, it was definitely so worthwhile to get the delicious spicy soft tofu stew. Can't wait til I go back next time and try other dishes as well from the Korean food court.

    Hanok is located inside the Food Gallery on 32nd St, K-Town. It's inside a food hall... so think fast food bodega decor & style. Been here a few times for takeaway - aka - no time for a real lunch - aka "eat at your desk bc you work in corporate"... #iykyk Quick, efficient, and price for value is decent. Quality of food, 50/50... some are better than others. -Seafood pancake - too oily, good flavor, shareable. -Yukgaejang - spice level is good (medium), not good quality shredded beef, too much fillers, good flavor. -Galbitang - flavorful (think sodium on high!), tender meat, a few radish, and slivers of onion and scallions. Love this one! -Kimchijigae - this was just ok, not memorable. -Dumpling & rice cake soup - good flavor, lots of rice cake... 3 dumplings tho? A bit stingy. Overall, you can get a pretty decent meal here but don't expect the quality like dining in at some of their neighboring shops! Happy eating! #yelplife

    Went to a food hall when in Koreatown in NYC. This place was pretty crowded and we waited in line to place our orders and get the buzzer. It wasn't long until our buzzers went off and our food came out. Lucky for us we found 2 seats on the third floor (which has the most seating in the building). The soup was average and wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be. My friend got the Haejang Guk (Hangover Soup) and honestly that would be my top choice.

    Based on a dine in experience at Food Gallery 52 food court Pros: Quick and friendly service Love the tofu here! Cons: Kimchi jigae soup was bit too sour for my test Port Tofu kimchi had less Pork than I expected Not cheap yet not overpriced but expect more meat on my orders In conclusion, Hanok is not a bad place for a quick Korean fix.     Keepin it real out here in K Town For some reason I always end up at Hanok every time i decided to eat in K Town and Food Gallery. The quality food and the beautiful display gets me every time. The service has always been speedy and amazing. I really dig the open kitchen, adds trust when you can see how the food is prepped. Always a line but moves quickly, def worth trying

    This food spot is within the main "Food Gallery" in Koreatown in NYC. Food Gallery in itself is AMAZING and this eatery is one of those awesome spots. Gurl this is one of my go-to spots in K-Town! If you are unfamiliar with Korean food, their menu is numbered at the bottom of the register. The specific meal I got was Japchae, which are glass noodles and chicken. Definitely one of my favorite little meals to munch on after a long day of exploring the city. Koreatown can get very full very quickly, and the spot toward the back on the first floor is a really great, affordable meal. Just the right amount of flavor palette without too much of a punch, and not so greasy that it'll hurt your stomach either. Only gave it four stars because the wait was long and my buzzer wasn't working. But to be fair, waits here are usually long regardless.

    It was a cute spot to grab food. You could try a little of everything from different stalls. There was a photo booth, karaoke rooms, and claw machines.

    Ordered kimchi jigae $13.99. Came with white rice and 3 small banchans (omelet roll, green water kimchi, pickled yellow radish). Jigae was too sweet, kimchi itself was underripe, overall taste wasn't spicy or salty enough. Had lots of kimchi which was the best part (just was underripe so tasted more like spicy behchu/cabbage). Wasn't the best but still comforting and filling. Wouldn't get it again unless I wanted a sweeter jigae.

    The food court was pretty packed on a Saturday night. I got a kalbi box from Hanok which comes with Kalbi, rice and some small side dishes which turned out to just be a little side salad and pickled radish. The Kalbi was average with a few of the pieces underneath being just bone. I recommend getting an appetizer or dessert with the meal because I was still a bit hungry afterwards!

The flavor is subtly sweet with a pleasant tang. ~ Temaki Set - 4/5 stars You can order a set of three by choosing from selections 1-17, or you can order a la carte at the listed prices. Some of the temaki stood out more than others. Our two sets included marinated salmon, bluefin tuna, spicy yellowtail, spicy bluefin, and two dynamite temaki. ~ Spicky Pork Ssam Set - 5/5 stars Truly another standout entree that even surpassed my beloved grilled BBQ bossam. You received a generous basket of assorte greens, including romaine, kale, perilla leaves, dandelion leaves, nappa cabbage, and more. It is well worth the price and makes for a fun, interactive dining experience with your family and friends. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. With its casual bougie aesthetics, this spot has quickly become one of my favorite eateries in Fort Lee-lee, It beautifully blends Korean, Japanese, and American flavors in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Hubs got hot stone bibimbap and as we all know the crispy rice is the best part of it... it's just tough to separate it from the actual stone dish so you can eat it, especially if you wait until it cools and fuses. If I was there with more stomach space I wanted to try the galbi, and in fact there's a weekday lunch combo that could facilitate that.

Every bite was well-balanced and packed with flavor. We also ordered the Mixed Katsu Set, which was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked to perfection. It came with generous portions and made for a comforting, filling meal. The restaurant has a modern and welcoming atmosphere, the staff was friendly and attentive, and everything arrived fresh and beautifully presented. If you're looking for a delicious Korean lunch in NYC's Koreatown, Jeong Yuk Jeom is definitely worth a visit. I'll be coming back to try more of their menu!

I also requested a birthday candle with dessert for our celebration when I made a reservation, but unfortunately the request wasn't acknowledged. Despite those minor disappointments, we had a wonderful experience. The food and service really stood out, and I would definitely bring visiting friends and family here.
