You can drop off your sight and they give you an estimate of about when the pet will be ready for pickup. There's no real need to have a big parking area for something like this. However they also have a day care for dogs and I think we'll try it out sometime. There are a few parking spots on the premises and plenty of parking on the road. This is on a side street away from Midlothian turnpike so it's a relatively quiet area anyway. We will return.

After calls to other places and to Happy Camper it was clear Happy Camper would be the best place for my 15-year-old baby girl. My Couscous came home, happy, healthy, and relaxed -- and maybe a little disappointed she wasn't still there. I recently had to go back into the hospital so again needed to board Couscous again with no planning time. Happy Camper welcomed her. I think the best thing a dog parent can hear about a place is what their dog says: As Couscous realized where she was going, she got excited and wagged all her rear body parts in excitement.

I've been using them for over a year now, and PETS at PLAY goes ABOVE and BEYOND anything I could've expected. (Note- they only provide in-home visits for the Church Hill neighborhood). They're always there for me when I need them. They just really have incredible customer service. They've been able to do same day visits for me when I've been worried about my cats but am unable to leave work, and email or call me to let me know everything is okay. On a couple of occasions the key I left in the lockbox was faulty (have since gotten rid of this key lol) and one time I even FORGOT to leave the key but was hours away. But on these occasions they didn't just say, "Oh well, not our fault" and leave - they went to my landlord to ask to be let in so my fur babies didn't have to go without food, a litter box change, and TLC. They send an email and pictures from the visit every time they come. They let me know how the babies are doing while I'm away. And the best part is my kitties don't have to be kenneled and put in a cramped up crate in a new, scary place while I'm gone. They get to stay in the comfort of their home and get visited by familiar, loving faces. I really do feel like PETS at PLAY truly enjoys seeing my cats. From the pictures it looks like my cats enjoy them, too. I really just couldn't be happier with this business. They've saved me and been there for me so many times and are such a huge convenience and frankly necessity in my life... that if I ever considered moving, I would specifically be sure to not move out of their service area. I don't know what I'd do without them.

The team stepped in to help make sure he could still get to daycare by arranging pickups and drop-offs. But what meant even more was their compassion. They checked in on me and even offered help with things that had nothing to do with daycare -- simply because they cared. They even sent Franklin home with a complimentary bath and made sure he got plenty of love and snuggles while he was there. I understand that accidents happen, but my main issue was that they knew what had happened and didn't even bother to tell me about it. Additionally, the place reeked of urine, which made me feel like the place was extremely unsanitary! If you are looking for a place to have your dog groomed, I recommend Holiday Barn. The staff there is extremely friendly, they do excellent work, and the place was spotless. I also boarded my dogs there, and if you pay a little extra your dog is kept in it's own room with a television turned to Animal Planet, which was important to me because I hated the idea of my dogs being kept in a cage.
