Unfriendly staff with poor communication and heavy language barrier. What they currently have for food selection is extremely limited. They are no longer serving any hot food from their menu, so don't waste your time asking. It's basically a mini-mart, at this point. I've walked there twice and both times, left disappointed no food whatsoever. Post-pandemic, it's understandable that restaurants and eateries have no choice to cut their menu items but it was the lack of friendliness and customer service that turned me off so badly. The older auntie who was working the register was sort of rude, to be honest. She never smiles and she responds to your inquiries with curt hand gestures. Combo meat jun and spicy pork...who puts Korean food on a bed of salad...this place does. What a new and enjoyable experience coming here to eat while at an appt few doors down. It's part mini mart part Korean bbq during grill hrs. Their hrs for bfast 6a-10a and lunch is 11a-2p. But if the grill isn't on they have ready made grab and go options such as musubi, sushi, bentos and even smoothies. They even have rice cake...yumm. Restaurant row is really starting to come back between Han's and the new Tamura poke bar. Han's serves Korean plates and some soups. They've got different breakfast and lunch hours and I think have been open for about a month. I asked the ajumma at the counter what to get and she recommended the spicy pork plate. As you can see in the photos it's a pretty solid portion with a mix of spicy pork, rice, quite a bit of salad and some small banchan stuff (broccoli, bean sprouts, kimchi). The pork is solid. Good chili flavor without being too hot (and I've had some hot Korean pork) sliced thinly and not overdone. It'll be interesting to see how their soups are. I bought a bottle water there the old lady that appears to be the owners says " you have to buy MORE to validate parking". There is a $3.50 purchase limit to get parking validation. I just walked out and went to other store to buy water under $3 and got validation. Avoid this this place. The old lady is a greedy grouchy woman. read more

These people are rude af - my other half went to get one of their premade bentos since they're working in the area. He politely asked the lady when the bentos were made? She said "what you mean" he then asked was it made this morning when you opened? Couple hours ago? 30 mins ago? When was it made? She then stated "what you mean?? What you think??!" He said forget it and gave the card to pay. she proceeded to swipe his card then flew it back at the counter towards him. Come on lady, you got hard working men in the area who also don't wanna be at work on a Monday in the rainy weather yet they still come to purchase food from you. The least you could do is have some decent customer service. This place is the bomb!!! The food is always good, no matter what you'll order. The portions are good size and come with real vegetables and kimchi, not scraps. Everything is really good quality. They always have various bento boxes and lots to chose from. Also, they have all the stuff convenience store does. It's really great. I work at a restaurant row plaza, so I come here often and I"m never disappointed. The company I work for have ordered lunch for the whole office (15-16 people) from Han's several times before and it's always tasty and perfect. The order is never messed up, the plates are full, and we get extra stuff. We don't order from anywhere else anymore. If you go there often, they will take care of you. I am really torn about this place. On one hand, it is within walking distance of where I live, and the food I got was both authentic Korean, and very well prepared. The Meat Jun was particularly yummy, but had one significant issue, to follow. On the negative side, there is a longer list: Service: the person taking my order was somewhat rude and sarcastic. I would have been okay with that if she had actually taken my order correctly. When she gave me only a little more than half of what I ordered, and I asked her where the rest was, she showed me her notes in Korean to prove that I got everything (which is kind of funny, since it could have said "go eat a bag of d*cks," and I would have had no idea). The manager had to come straighten things out, and it turns out that she did in fact get it wrong, but only after I had to bring it all back and open it to prove that I wasn't trying to shake them down for a free plate lunch. Super annoying. There was an apology or two offered, but there was no offer of a discount for this or a future visit for the fairly lengthy hassle. Portions: So as I mentioned earlier, the Meat Jun was awesome, but it was a super tiny amount of meat arranged on top of a giant bed of lettuce (think 90% lettuce and 10% meat in the main course section of the bento). This was a large order. This would be great if I was a vegetarian, or if the menu said "Meat Jun, but mostly lettuce," but it did NOT. My son and I were disappointed. We are not small eaters, but neither of us are anywhere close to obese, so I don't think our expectations are unreasonable. For comparisons sake, you get about 4 times the meat in a comparably priced order from Gina's, and they have been in business for decades. So, I might go back one day out of curiosity to see if my experience was unusual, but my suspicions are that things aren't likely to change. Bummer. read more

I had the meat jun kalbi combo plate. The owner is very nice. The meat jun was excellent. The kalbi was good, but could have been carmelized a little more. The vegetables were fresh and I thought it was nice that the brown rice had beans in it. I just came back from Korea and my Korean friends made their rice like that. I also enjoyed the spinach/romaine salad. It was also very fresh. I just wish the meat was on the rice instead of the salad, so it wouldn't get warm. read more

If you are in a hurry, there are usually ready-made bentos (these go quick after 12) and smaller items like kimbap (must try!). I work in Waterfront Plaza and when we first moved here, there were not many places to get lunch. Recently, more food places are opening up which makes it great for our office. We went to try HAN'S KOREAN BBQ, and we all tried different items. I got the chop chae and it was amazing! Lots of different ingredients in it like shiitake mushrooms and other veggies. The seasoning was really good. We also tried the BBQ chicken and saba bowl and that was very tasty also. They also have mochi/ mandoo soup and kimbap.
