To be fair, I went in pretty much knowing what I wanted after agonizing over Consumer Reports and online reviews. Waadt was the third appliance store I visited. Prices were consistent across the board. Most places didn't have demo electric ranges in store since it's low in demand, but they can order anything and seem to have direct contact with vendors. I wasn't in a hurry, so I placed my order with Bill on 2/13/26. He called me on 2/24/26 to let me know my appliances had arrived, process payment and we scheduled install for 2/26/26. I was given an install window of 9:30-11:30AM and they showed up around 10:00AM. The install guys were great. There was of course a problem, as my current range was hardwired to the electrical and there was no outlet for the new one. They said no problem, ran to the hardware store, bought the necessary supplies, installed the outlet and had me up and running. This is exactly why I didn't go with a big box store. Bill let me know his installers were equipped to handle any surprises and they were. Big box stores will only plug it in and leave. Any problems you're on your own to solve. Install prices, with the addition of an outlet, were reasonable. Would I use Waadt again? Definitely!

Mom waits in line at customer service, but they are too busy to actually help her. Finally, they took a moment and addressed her. She showed them the loaf, they told her to go exchange it. They didn't refund the cost of the bread or offer a store credit or anything for the inconvenience of driving all the way back to the store. At the bakery, Mom chose a replacement loaf and asked a bakery employee to open it and check to make sure it didn't have a hole. They looked at one slice. She asked them to check the entire loaf since the bad loaf also had a few good slices and they gave her attitude. This is Pavilions' problem. You sold a bad loaf of bread. It was not deliberate. But it is your problem to resolve. So make some attempt at customer service to encourage us to come back to your store. Driving all the way back to the store and waiting in line at customer service and simply getting what we paid for the first time is not resolution. Make an effort. Do better.

They also sell milk past its due date (like Bruguière's) and require you to bring a receipt just to get your milk bottle deposit back. On top of that, I often get singled out by the security guard, who specifically follows me throughout the store. They're allegedly part of the group of businesses that built a wall to block small businesses from being seen or using the parking lot. They reportedly wanted at least one of those small businesses to start paying $100k a year instead of $60k. Which is wild because they just spent a bunch of money remodeling.

I'm usually a straight black coffee drinker. The coffee itself was delicious, it doesn't taste like burnt water. As for their mixed drinks and lattes. They make it well. The proportions of ingredients are well balanced. Not too strong or not too sweet unless instructed otherwise. Now when I can I buy their extra fine coffee grounds for my espressos at home.
