I love good tasting quality clean food, which they serve. I do, though, need more budget friendly meals. When the price of a salad, there costs as much as me, feeding a family of three, i have to pause and prioritize. That said, though they have the best chef. I don't eat baked goods, but those who do love their baked goods as well. So definitely patronize them. I'll be back a few times a year, when they rotate their menu and there's something I really want. I just can't eat there once or twice a month like I used to. And it's really the the fact that they price themselves out of my range.

The Grub Hut is very, very popular or at least it was when we were there and there was a small line to place our order, very little room to sit and the wait time to get our food was about 25 minutes. We didn't think that was too bad and we thought it was "johnny on the spot" timing at work to tell us that at the time that the order was placed. And I suppose they have it down to an art and need to give out times like this as this restaurant is right by the ferry terminal and Kingston so I imagine a lot of people who are using the ferry need that kind of information to plan accordingly with their meals and arrival/departure times with the ferry.

He is clearly detail oriented and cares about the experience of his guests. My family ordered nachos as an appetizer which were delicious. I ordered the honey ginger salmon. My parents ordered a veggie burger and French dip. Our food came out promptly and hot. We all really enjoyed our meals. If you haven't been to Off Main recently, it is worth stopping in.
