    Chicken Lo Mein

We don't eat out often as we don't have money like that but today we chose Hao Chi based on the reviews. I wish we had gone elsewhere We ordered $70 worth of food for pickup and left a $10 tip. Out of all the food we purchased, all of the chicken was too dry to eat, the dumplings were burned to a crisp and sent out anyways, the noodles in the lo mein were dry and crispy. When asked for house mustard, they had none, when asked for chili oil they gave us chili sauce. And only 4 packs of soy sauce and 4 packs of mustard were given for a family of 4 . Terrible place I would not recommend. The chef has absolutely no pride in their food whatsoever. I truly hope they see this and stop giving this garbage to people. This is not Chinese food, this isn't even food. Absolutely terrible

Vegetable Lo Mein (w/extra mushrooms) takeout.

I'm always on the quest for good takeout, and after seeing this place recommended on my delivery app for the 100th time I decided to finally try it out. I ordered the vegetable lo mein (with extra mushrooms so I could qualify for free delivery) and it was pretty good! Nothing crazy remarkable, but solid Chinese takeout which is something everyone needs. The veggies were all fresh, the noodles and seasoning were tasty, and it arrived hot! No complaints at all.

I sadly have not found a good Chinese place in Baltimore as be generous to rate the best as 3 stars until now. Only got once as delivery on Xmas and came quickly. Food was good as not overly greasy, decent serving size and Good flavor. For those that like it spicy mine was not even with eating the peppers. Will order again.

The orange chicken here is extremely tasty! I can tell the sauce is made from scratch. I would have loved a little more heat, so I may ask for extra chili next time. The combination fried rice wasn't bad! I think there could have been more seasoning added, but I'll definitely be ordering from this spot again. Thank you!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I've ordered from here a few times and always get the same thing, beef lo mein and sweet and sour chicken. I'll start off by saying the beef lo mein is very good. Unfortunately, this time the sweet and sour chicken was the worst it's ever been. Half of the the fried dough did not even have any chicken. The pieces that did include chicken had thin strips not even whole pieces of chicken. Pictures show the whole story. I called the restaurant to see if they could rectify the situation and was greeted with the worst customer service ever. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Definitely the best Chinese in the area. Best prices too. Opened late, which depending on the day in Fells- this may be the latest open, with convenience and best prices. (We've tried everything in Canton, surrounding Fells area) Quickly prepared, tasty Chinese take out! Very nice. Definitely beats any other Chinese in all surrounding areas, will quickly become top rated .

Upon walking in, I noticed how vibey it was! All of the staff greeted me and everyone was just really happy to be there. The restaurant was so cute and eclectic, but again, very packed! We were hungry lol. I told the staff member that it was my first time there and he gave me a few recommendations. After reviewing everything, I settled on the tempuras Broccoli and the Neighborhood Bird Bun. Service was very quick and they had us in and out of there. They even had stickers for us to grab! Food: Tempura Broccoli-first few bites were amazing. Then I got to the bottom of the box and the house made vinegar threw off the texture for me as they became soggy so I didn't get to finish them. Overall, they were solid but if you do not like vinegar and have texture issues, they're not for you. I'll give them a solid 3 out of 5. Bun: the bun definitely met my expectations. The chicken was huggggeeee and likely was a chicken thigh, which was a good touch. Ur was juicy and fried to perfection. The herbs provided a well balance and the bao bun was everything. I smashed!!! I would definitely go back and try a different bun. Overall 4.5 out of 5 stars!

I had been here once before, before moving to the area, and thought it was great then. This time? Extraordinary. I came in about an hour before closing, and anyone who eats out knows food can sometimes feel different that close to closing time. Not here. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and just as good as if I had walked in at peak dinner time. On top of that, I had an issue with my online order/payment. It looked like the charge was processing through my account, but they had no record of the order. Instead of making me feel like a problem, the person helping me was patient, kind, and genuinely tried to figure it out. I felt treated like a hungry customer who needed help not like someone trying to get over. The food looked good, tasted amazing, and the people were helpful, welcoming, and kind even near closing. I ordered Nam Tok (beef salad) as an appetizer and Kao Soi as an entree. Coupled that with a Paulaner German Lager. The food was all good. I had never had Kao Soi (chicken curry noodle dish) before, so I have no frame of reference to compare it to. It came with two chicken drumstick in it, which I was expecting. Love drumsticks, but it was more work than I had hoped for. Was more in the mood to just dig in and not to have to work for my supper so to speak. Flavors were good. No heat at all though, even at their 2 level. I will admit my tolerance is super high though, so not a good barometer to gauge off of. Service was fantastic! Thanks Samaria! Very helpful without being intrusive. The bill was $63 (with 2 beers), so not bad at all (especially for the Fells Point area). Unrelated to the restaurant, the parking here was a ridiculous $17 for 2 hours. Oof! Brutal! And the Union Wharf lot was almost empty. Street parking was non-existent. Overall: Service great! The orange beef had a pleasant orange flavor, but it was so strong that it completely overwhelmed the flavor of the beef itself. The chicken with mixed mushrooms had the opposite problem--it was surprisingly bland and lacked seasoning and depth. What was especially frustrating was that the entrées arrived without rice. I have absolutely no issue with rice being sold separately, but the online ordering menu should make that clear. Had we known the entrées did not include rice, we obviously would have ordered it. Instead, we discovered it only after the food arrived, which made an already disappointing meal even more frustrating. Given NiHao's reputation and price point, I expected much better balance of flavor and a more thoughtfully presented delivery menu. Unfortunately, this experience did not live up to those expectations.
