The woman working was incredibly unprofessional. This business can't seem to get their hours right. Google says they close 6:30, Yelp says they close at 6:00. I arrived at 5:15 and she turned me away stating that they close at 5:30. She then had the audacity to claim that she changed the hours online, and I showed her both pieces of confounding evidence. They don't recommend replacing or doing repairs that aren't needed, and they show you your old parts when you pick up the car. I come to Kevin for all my car issues. I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla and a 2010 Honda CR-V. With the pandemic going on I haven't had time to get my car maintained. Hah, way overdue for an oil change. The homie inspected my 2010 Honda CR-V and informed me that my brakes were a little pass 3mm left lmao. Glad I took my car for an oil change and inspection. Never skimp out on safety maintenance on your car. Your life is worth way more. I needed new rotors and brakes. I scheduled to get the brakes and rotors fixed the following week. I dropped car off around 8:15am and picked up car around 10:45am. He also replaced transmission fluid and power steering fluid in addition to fixing my brakes+rotors. After driving for a week, I can totally feel the difference in the car. For the past 2 months, I would average 18-19mpg. For the past week it's been 21-22mpg. BEWARE!!!! I took my car to this shop for oil change and my car caught engine fire on my way back home 10 minutes after oil change. Fortunately, I smelled the smoke and pulled over my car immediately, and there was a constructor with a fire extinguisher nearby, he helped me put out the fire before it becomes huge, so the damage seems repairable. But I was so scared at that moment, I can't image what will happen if I didn't stop my car and get out in time. I brought my car back to the shop immediately and asked them to check the cause of the fire, fix the damaged parts, and issue an inspection report to guarantee it's safe to drive. However, they refused to do so and denied the responsibility. After debating, they only agreed to offer a full inspection on my car but will not provide any paperwork for the inspection (who knows they did it or not), and they never admit their wrongdoings during the oil change process. After a day, they called me and said my car is ready for pick up, I asked them to confirm how safe my car is since none of the damaged parts has been replaced. The owner Kevin started to yell at me and threatened me to pick up my car before 5pm otherwise it will be towed, regardless his wife previously saying that I can also pick up my car the next day if I want. He was saying "I'm the boss she's not I can tow your car whenever I want." WHAT A BUSINESS!!! HOW RUDE!!! DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR THERE THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAR AND PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK!!! read more

If I could give negative star I would like to!!!!Smog check or oil change definitely overprice!!!! I hv been going Hao's for 8 years for service and maintenance, recently all of the employees are changed, a short Asian man and a Chinese woman manage the store. I brought my car there for smog check they said they charge 59.99 I asked them why and they told me they offer retest if first test is not passed. Since I been there for 8 yrs and I believe that store I accepted it. And I was sitting out of the store searching other store for oil change(after I read their price on the wall)I read the command from yelp of this store and I think sth bad is gonna be happened!!!! Yep they failed my smog check!!!!!!! They said my aftermarket intake is not the original one and the label is not clear to read so they failed my test. I asked them to check on the pc record I been here for 8 yrs and that intake been using for 4 yrs two smog check was passed. And lady checked it for me and kinda hv a eye contact with the short man , they know they made a mistake and started BS. Finally told me just bring back the original intake and they can do retest for me then my smog check must be passed. Guess what! The next day I brought bk my car there they charge me 9.75 more and no credit accepted I had no cash that day and they end up charge me $10 even!!!!!! Remind me for oil chang in a month and I told them I would never go bk there anymore! Iono why they needa check everything on my car since the smog check is by the OBD scanner. Sigh...... OMG my parents accidentally went there for oil change, the lady said the air and engine filter are both dirty needa replace right away (they unplug the filter and show it to my dad) there r leaves on top, they charge $50 and free installation. My dad call me and I told him I can do it $25 for both online so he rejected. Guess what????? They put back the filter with all those leaves on top exact like when they pull out I was shocked when I open the air filter. Anyways I warned my family and friends DONT go there anymore. Absolute scam and horrible people! Husband went yesterday for a simple tire check because one was leaking air. Right when he drove car inside and had to stand outside they opened our car lid/panel. Husband knew they were scamming so he left because why would they need to open the panel if our tire was leaking air?! Even more absurd thing is, they LEFT our panel OPEN/ not closed properly for our emergency light to go off while my husband was actively driving to another place!!!!!! Not only would they hav charged us 200-300 dollars because they said we had to install a new tire, our panel could've popped up while DRIVING! At the new place they fixed the hole in the tire and it was 30 dollars. Being as concerned, disturbed, and mad my husband was, he drove back to tell them that they left our front panel freaking open!!!! Ive been doing my smog check for all my cars in this auto repair for so many years. people r all changed in these couple years. one of the senior mechanic was really nice but he left, he NEVER charge me extra and NEVER ask me to replace any UNNECESSAEY parts even I requested.recently there is a Asian short guy and a lady in charge of the store. the lady is pretty nice, explains every things I needa replace in my car such as filters etc....however, the Asian guy is very attitude, he refused to service me after I complained their service and price. he talked to the lady he doesn't wanna do me car in Chinese. the lady was shocked and nicely give me an excuse.the reason I go there just because I was selling my car and buyer lives around there, so I drove my car there for smog check. and im try to reach BAR to see If they could help me with this case read more

There are lots of other shops to go to. These guys are not too swift. Damaged the pinch rails on two of my cars. Flattened them with their cheap lift and poor lift technique. As others explained, they can be expensive. They have this lady who works there as some sort of paper pusher. Real pain. There work is semi-professional and I've been correcting their mistakes as I take Auto Mechanics from CCSF. Don't recommend them. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. I went to get my car smogged here because I live in the neighborhood. They are already overcharging for this service at $59.95, but I agreed as it is conveniently located down the street from my house. My car failed the smog because of an aftermarket coolant cover that had been switched out on my engine. I paid $50 for them to tell me this. Upon leaving to have to original piece switched out (I had this piece at my house) I asked if I would be charged the full $59.95 again when returning. They said NO not if I brought it back to them. When returning and having the smog done and passing, THEY CHARGED ME $59.95! Then when I asked they said, oh no we said if you brought it here to have the repairs done we wouldn't charge you the full price for smog. I said, well you didn't clearly explain this or I wouldn't have brought my vehicle back here, I would have taken it somewhere cheaper. The woman working at the shop was VERY rude and unaccommidating.
