I did a few oil changes and tire rotations with Hayden Autocare, the workers who did the tire rotation messed up my wheel lock key. I ended up changing the wheel lock and they messed it up again! I stopped going back to them. If you get a tire rotation from this auto shop, make sure you take a photo of your wheel lock before they operate on your car. read more

This shop told me they could work on my 95 GMC Safari but obviously didn't want to. Happy to take my money reluctant to fix my car. Lied to me about changing my spark plugs didn't touch em they even showed me plugs from somebody else car but when I went home and changed em myself the scam up. Lied to me about the car not having any issues meanwhile it was stalling in the lot. The owner kept taking phone calls to avoid talking to me, they hosed me for 400$ and told me I don't know what's wrong with it "drive it until the engine blows up the well fix that part". 10 stars! I tried to call to see if I needed an appointment for an oil change but nope! (No, the phone wasn't working and no, you don't need an appointment for an oil change) Ping very kindly replied to an email I sent, and in I went the next day. I forgot to check my email so it was pretty close to closing..like 3:50 by the time I got there. Whoops! But they (uhoh I don't know the guy's name who changed the oil) jumped on it, changed my oil incredibly quickly, and only charged me $60 for that. NICE! They also noticed my tire light was on and first added air, but also noticed it was down to 21 PSI, which is kind of drastic (supposed to be around 32). So they looked for a leak and found a screw in my tire. My NEW tire. Luckily, it wasn't near the sidewall so they could patch it, which they also did super quickly, for $20. Hell.yeah. That could have been a. dangerous b. a giant pain in the butt to figure out at a later time and have to take it somewhere and wait and hassle and ugh. I mean, they also could have told me it wasn't patchable and I wouldn't have known, so I am very grateful for Ping's honesty! And amazing service. They were super thorough, even at 4:15/4:30 pm on a Saturday, when they could have been watching the Olympics! Also Ping was just a nice guy. I will definitely be returning for whatever else my car needs. read more

I brought my car in this morning for tire rotation which is cost $20. When the mechanic removed the tires. He found out the front brake pads was low has 5-10% left. I got a quote from Ping change all brake pads, resurfaced brake disc rotors, and tire rotator all for $390. That was reasonable price! They did a good job. I highly recommend this auto shop. Ping was thorough and spoke to my brother (who fixes his own cars in LA) on the phone and provided his recommendations and it turned out that I did not need to replace the front end (needed new tires, alignment, brakes). I recently had an emergency on a late Saturday evening en route from SF to LA and I was surprised when Ping responded to my call! Recommended by one guy. Ran into another guy there. This shop has the respect of car guys, btw good guys. I got the rear brake pads and sensors done on my BMW yesterday. Many shops rape German car owners, and I don't fuck with that, but these guys are reasonable. Default for parts is after-market, but I'm fine with that for something like brake pads and sensors. There's a slight squeak on one side, still, but I did let the pads go a bit last time and opted to not replace the rotors, which are still safe. No grinding. Brakes work well. I appreciate that they didn't pressure me to get anything else done. My dash is currently lit up like a Christmas tree, but I've got friends changing my oil and right low beam bulb within a week. This is my new local go-to for brakes, which, with how much I drive, need attention after just over a year. Ask for Ping. read more

Brought in my Honda Odyssey twice to Hayden's recently for repair. They replaced a front right axle and an oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 1. Both jobs were completed in a timely manner by competent mechanics. Ping is the owner/manager and runs his shop efficiently. He explains what parts are needed and the time it will take to complete each job. I recommend scheduling appointments in advance for work needed. They handle walk in appointments for oil changes, a small variety of small jobs and schedule future appointments for more laborious detailed work.
