I first came here because Costco had them recommended for the post-tire install alignment. David was quick and responsive, and very honest. The integrity part of the name fits. Since then, I've come back a handful of times for different things. David has been stellar each time, coming back with a quote that matched the final pricing and was great at communicating how long something would take - with accuracy. I'm always a little concerned about going to car shops, because they inevitably see something that they want to fix that maybe isn't necessary. David doesn't do that. In fact, last time I went in he checked my battery and gave me an estimate on how much longer I should be able to last on the current battery. The second time I went in, he made a comment about my tires being new. Clearly he forgot I had come in before, but everything he mentioned aligned with things I knew about the vehicle or that he himself worked on months prior. Have had great experiences with David after 5 visits. He has been very honest and forthright each time. We first used him when another shop tried to give us a cheap quote and only half-fix the issue, but then the issue reoccurred, and we came to David at Integrity. Even though he charged more, he fixed the issue once and for all. Each time we have an issue, he explains the problem thoroughly, which may not be every reviewer's cup of tea. But we appreciate that he walks us through the various options and doesn't try to cut corners nor charge unfair prices. I found David's shop via Costco when I was looking for a new battery for my car (Benz CLA250). I reached out to him via his website to ask for a quote-- specifically for battery replacement and labor. He gave me a go-signal to come in today so I did. I had a pleasant experience with David - vibe was chill, honest, and straightforward. I never felt intimidated, he explained things very clearly and concisely. Prior to going to his shop, I called around and canvassed for a battery. From Autozone, NAPA, Pep Boys, O'Reilly, and even my go-to shop (The One Auto Service and Performance) -- they all advised me that my battery is H6. Well, David found out it's H7 that fits my car best. He replaced the battery in less than 30 mins. I'm currently dealing with smog-check test that failed so he advised me what to do next and connect with him after a week. Prior to that, he showed me what failed my smog test (although I was already aware of the code, but he went into details with me which made more sense as Westlake Smog Check didn't explain the details to me). I made the right decision to come to his shop and my only regret is that I discovered it kinda late (plus my current residence is in Seattle, but my car stays in the Bay). He also honored my Costco membership and issued me the 15% discount on the parts and labor-- thank you, David! If you want someone who is honest and detailed and has integrity (plus he won't rip you off)-- then David is the man. If I could give zero stars I would I called one time for a service inquiry all I needed to know was if they COULD fix a broken part, regardless of the diagnostic I had or not, David- Don't Know the last name but he was extremely rude and short on the phone, after working in costumer service for years I would never recommend this place to anyone if you want a stress free interaction! I genuinely hope this place gets run to the ground! Update: Since he responded with another rude message. I personally never said I took my car to AutoZone. I said I knew my fuel temperature sensor was broken ,and all I needed to know was if they could fix it or not. Once again regardless of a Diagnostic I Didn't say that they Couldn't run a diagnostic of their own, I wouldn't mind that , however since its a niche car and part which he didn't even ask me about. 90% of the parts for the make and model of my car have been discontinued and that's what I was trying to ask ,but he cut me off multiple times! Top notch customer service!!! I had to get a smog check... I was on my way home from Mission Bay and I did a quick Yelp search to see who was close by. Integrity came up... I did a drive and saw that there was no line. I headed in. I was met by David.. really personable and friendly. The smog check is slightly higher then other places, but the service is well worth it. I was given a Vehicle History Report, a Carfax Service Histiry and he performed a quick check on my car including checking tire pressure. He found that my tail light was out. Sweet!! I saw the location changed hands a few months ago and wanted to support local small business folks in the area so wanted to try and see how it would go. I called in and talked with David about situation on smog checking both our cars. He was super nice and explained how the smog vs. "star" system works and I told him I would come down. Came down later in the week and David is great. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and clear on what will be done. He did the smog and all good. He pointed out the issue with a tire bulge I had. I really appreciate what David did for me. His diagnosis of my car issues are always explained in layman's terms and he calls to review pricing before starting the work. The quality of his work is meticulous and he explained what needed to be done when you pick up the car. I've known david for many years and I can honestly say he is the only guy I trust working on my cars because he always does a great job. I took my car to city Toyota (only because I purchased my car there and it's less than 2 years since I purchased it) for a squeaking brake issue that consisted of me going in 4 times. I recently dropped my Honda off due to it not starting. David immediately diagnosed the problem. I needed a new alternator and belt. David repaired the vehicle and recommended that I replace my starter. I chose to take David's advice and replaced the starter also and elected to get my oil changed. David's pricing was beyond reasonable and was able to knock the job out quickly. My vehicle is running smoothly and starts on the first turn! No more jumping or tow trucks to deal with. My car had transmission slipping problem. David ran my car through a "$10,000 tablet computer" and when I asked him to inspect my car, he said "What is there to check?". He did not do any inspection. I later found out from another shop that it is a transmission problem, but David was unable to tell me that it was the transmission problem, nor did he make any recommendation to fix the problem. Because he did not think that my car had any problems. It was fine according to the $10k tablet computer. I took it to another mechanic at another shop and he found my transmission oil dirty, and he changed it for me. My car now picks up better, but problem still persists. At least he tried to help. I am still actively looking to fix my problem. I've been through 3 shops and David has the worst attitude and customer service. David was rude and didn't help at all. So I can not recommend this shop. read more

Called the day beforehand... asked if they could check out a problem with my car ( the steering wheel got locked up and wouldn't turn ), they stated it could be up to $1000 repair because it's a Mercedes, they told me to come first thing the next morning and that it would cost $200 just for them to look at it, so I took it in the next morning, willing to pay the $200 to find out what was wrong, and they told me that if I wasn't willing to agree ahead of time to pay the $1000 (if thats what the repair costs ended up being) that they wouldn't take my vehicle... because they have limited space... they should have said that the day before. I just need a diagnostic and for them to tell me the problem, and if I can afford it then I'll pay but I'm not agreeing ahead of time before they even know what the problem is. Fast (for a Sunday), reliable, honest and informative service. Hard enough to find a spot on Sunday last minute but glad I landed here. Shop name is missing but its located in the middle of the block. Came in for a tire repair and learned the differences between plugging and patching a tire. My guy there laid out the options (sorry, wish I caught your name) and ultimately left the choice up to myself and my wallet. Was in and out in an hour. He was able to PATCH and save my newish tire from 2 holes that eventually leaked from plugging (temporary relief). It didn't help that I have aftermarket wheels on my van but he made sure he was careful when removing the rim from the tire. Overall, great experience from beginning to end. I cannot say enough good things about David at Integrity. First and foremost is his integrity, so his shop name is apropos. We have had so many issues with our Dodge Durango, where the dealership and a previous small local mechanic said that they could not find the root cause of the issue and simply told told us not to worry about our check engine light being on. We were driving it for years without any noticeable issue, but fast forward five years and said check engine light prevented us from passing our first required smog inspection for registration renewal. David meticulously took the time with patience to figure out everything that was causing the check engine light (four small things that took a while to diagnose and began with a cracked plastic hose that someone else caused and hid their mistake by patching it up with black electrical tape to disguise their error). This small ($80) mistake then caused a chain reaction of various issues, that David had to find one by one. And he did it with patience and educated us along the way and did it in an economical way. He finally found a small fracture in the charcoal canister, (something that NEVER happens) and that fix was the final straw to getting us to pass smog. It took some time and patience on both of our ends, but I am so relieved to be driving a safe car and to have found a mechanic that we can truly trust. I will be going to him for EVERYTHING car related from now on. And you should too! read more

I went to this business today because it was near my house. I saw my hose broke on my car. The owner immediately asked if I worked on the car myself, which I didn't . Then he told the job would be thousands of dollars without looking at it. He said I won't touch the job.The shop I normally go to was closed. I've had broken hoses on my BMW repaired for around a few hundred dollars. I'm just giving my opinion of the business. This is not a business I'd recommend due to my experience. In addition, the owner lied and and claimed he saw spots on my sweat shirt. The l sweat shirt was new. It was yellow with black spots made on it. The owner is a liar and very rude. I never worked on my car. I'm glad I didn't take my vehicle there. I'm not sure this why this shop would say un true things about some looking to give them business. I wish the business the best of luck, but with those business practices it could be difficult. You can't assume every issue is the same thing until it's looked at.
