    Carrot cake banana pudding

The limited time carrot cake banana pudding was FIRE. So good. I would definitely come back to this place. There's a parking lot on the World Market side of the plaza and you can just walk through to the other side. Way better than street parking.

Fantastic bakery! The person that helped us was very helpful and sweet. We got a chocolate on chocolate cupcake, a snickerdoodle cookie, chocolate chip cookie, and vanilla cupcake. Everything was so moist and not at all dry or overly sweet. The shop is super cute and chill. I definitely want to come back to try their banana pudding.

I don't know if they've gotten better or my tastebuds have changed lol but I decided to give this place another chance, and have been back here a few times now. My kid also changed his mind because he also loves coming here now lol. Today I tried the salted caramel which was the best one I've tried here so far. Service was friendly once again, and the place is very clean inside.

I was walking down Birch Street back to my car after visiting a local business when I came upon a "Try our world famous banana pudding" sign on the sidewalk. I love anything banana so it definitely caught my eye. I decided to walk into Hapa Bakery to check it out. The shop is fairly small, is very clean, and all walls are decorated nicely. There are four two seat tables, two inside and two out front. There is a refrigerated display case that holds their banana, nutella banana, and chocolate brownie puddings, along with a few other items. Two other counters display mouthwatering cookies, brownies, and cupcakes. The staff member was very friendly, and I mentioned that the sign out front lured me in to the shop, as I'm sure it does many others. I bought a container of banana pudding to take home, and managed to resist the urge to buy some of their other delicious looking goodies. I tried it the same evening, and it was truly heavenly. It is creamy and so flavorful, and is loaded with slices of banana and wafer cookies that are so soft and just melt. It is a good sized container, I'm guessing around 16 ounces, and is reasonably priced at just under $9. I try to limit my intake of sweets, but I will definitely be back to indulge here periodically.

Got the banana pudding because my friend absolutely adores it. I was not disappointed. It's a cute little shop, and the workers were kind. The pudding itself was so light and airy, and when you get that scoop with a piece of banana and a piece of bread. Wow. Such a nice light dessert to share with some friends... or by yourself, I'm not judging. Gotta come back to try the cookie butter or nutella version of the banana pudding!

I've been meaning to try Hapa ever since before this location opened and finally tried it when they were running a deal on the banana pudding. The cookie butter one is phenomenal! A bit pricey but would be worth the splurge if I'm in the area. Would also love to try their cookies and cupcakes

This place is cute. They have some beautiful and tasty looking treats. They even have cute little snow globe cookies for the holidays. But I didn't try any of them. Honestly, just get the banana pudding...you're welcome.

Nice clean little place. Everything is nicely displayed which makes it hard to decide what to buy since it's all looks so good. The girl at the register quiet. But not rude.

Hapa bakery is an excellent bakery. I've always been a fan of their cupcakes and filled cookies. Today, my friend and I grabbed a cupcake each. I grabbed a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting. My friend grabbed a churro cupcake. Both were very moist and flavorful. They had a nice selection and the ambience was calm and inviting. The service was great. Our cashier even offered to sign us up for their reward program, which was easy to sign up for. All you need is to provide your phone number. I do however think the cupcakes are pretty small for the price you pay, which is 4 dollars and some change. It is a nice place to visit in downtown Fullerton when you are craving sometbing sweet.

We stopped in on a whim and I feel like my life has changed. These are, perhaps, the most delightful cookies I have ever had.it was hard to choose but I liked the sprinkle cookie the most. They were the perfect amount of sweet with great flavor and big enough cookies to share. I can't wait to go back and get some more.

This is amazing BP. And I know BP ball. Great texture, great cream team addition. Wafers held up well, not too soggy, not too stiff. Great balance of banana flavor. It was a war crime to not get another one. Genuinely a top 5 BP experience. All my homies hate Magnolia Bakery.

I've tried the cupcakes at Hapa prior to their move to Downtown Brea and wasn't a huge fan as it was dry but decided to come back to try the banana pudding ($8.50). Though it was quite sweet, it was to be expected. Layers of custard, wafers and banana - such a tasty treat if you're a fan of banana! $1 off puddings on Wednesdays. There was also a pumpkin pudding and strawberry pudding for those who want to try a different flavor! There are some street parking spots right up front if you get lucky or several structures located close by, all free to park.

The desserts are delicious to both the eye and mouth. The Galaxy Brownie was a fun and nostalgic treat. I love a good cosmic brownie, and Hapa did this childhood snack justice. It was so fudgy and the sprinkles were colorful and crunchy. The strawberry matcha cupcake was surprisingly pleasing. The strawberry cake was fluffy and, in the best way possible, reminiscent of the Betty Crocker box mixes I used to make as a child. The cookies are also good. My favorite thing, however, is definitely the banana pudding. Service was nice. Great vibes all around.

The bread and cakes here are so, so incredibly delicious, and I'm a huge fan. We stopped by that day and bought some pastries, and seriously, every single one of them was so fresh and amazing. They make the absolute best bread and cakes! My mom also ordered a coffee--a hot Americano--but that was a bit on the sour side, so it wasn't really our thing. Aside from that, the interior is cute and pretty, the shop is spotless, all of the staffs are super friendly, and above all, every single pastry and cake is just so delicious. I love it. One thing, though: since people said it's located in Fullerton, I thought it would be close to the Fullerton Hannam Chain or H Mart that we always go to. But turns out, we had to drive another 20 minutes to get there.

Thankfully, the line moved pretty quickly, although the bakery itself is small and can feel a bit tight inside. I honestly wish I had gotten more. My kids enjoyed everything too. The only item that was a bit disappointing was the Sea Salt Taro Latte. It was a little too milky and sweet for my taste. The display cases always have a lot to choose from, so it's fun to grab a variety of things to try. On our visit we picked up quite a mix: the milk bread loaf, cloud cream cake with strawberries, cheesecake, Guava Pie, cream cheese tart, Portuguese egg tart, chocolate muffin, blueberry muffin, caramel apple pie, fruit tart, and a cinnamon twist. The cheesecake was really good -- smooth, creamy, and nicely balanced in sweetness. The cloud cream cake with strawberries was light and fresh, and the milk bread loaf is incredibly soft and perfect to bring home for toast or breakfast. One of our favorites was the cinnamon twist. It was fluffy and delicious, almost like the texture of a malasada. The fruit tart was also beautifully made and a nice lighter option. Not every item necessarily stood out the same way, but overall it's an enjoyable bakery and a convenient local spot when you're craving pastries or want to bring home a mix of sweet treats to share. The shop itself is clean, well organized, and the staff has always been friendly when we stop in. Overall, it's a solid local bakery with a lot of variety, and a nice place to pick up desserts in Brea. Tip: If you're trying a few things, the cheesecake, milk bread, and cinnamon twist were standouts for us.
