    Honestly the nails they did on me look like from temu they were bad never going back there ever again and I asked for almond and got this and the guy that did my nails kept on going on his phone and taking breaks randomly while doing my nails never coming back here

    Gel pedicure. Horrible shape, cuticles not pushed back, pooling of the polish! Total waste of my time and money.

    The staff was very nice and welcoming, but the pedicure was just not good. It's a sloppy paint job and poor shaping of my cuticles and big toe. The picture says it all.

    Nancy is the best!! I always book ahead of time with her and she takes her time to make sure my nails are perfect. My nails have become so healthy and strong since she started working on them. I get hard gel on my nails, and she takes the time to make sure that the application and removal is done properly every time. I am constantly washing my hands and quite rough with my nails at work but they last well past 2 weeks and stay in great condition.

    It's been over a year since I tried Happiness for a mani/pedi. The last time I went, I got a fungus under my nail. I see the reviews have improved and went back tonight hoping they are cleaner and better. It was super busy, they sat me in the very back by the restrooms. The manicure with gel totaled 20 minutes. The man that did it is the same that did it last year. He says my nails are too thin so I should get acrylic; I don't want acrylics, just gel polish. He said "don't say I didn't warn you". Ok. He did a nice job with the gel paint, so that is good. The lady that did my pedicure was very thorough, but cut the entire side of my big toe flesh. Ouch. Now, a few hours later, my entire toe is swollen, red, and hot. Wonderful. The gel polish on my toes are not smooth around the sides. Well, I guess I have my annual update....

    Only leaving 2 stars because the first time I came I really liked my nails which is the reason I came back. I walked in on a Saturday and asked if they had availability for a gel manicure, they said yes and a lady started doing my nails. As she was removing my gel polish, 6 little girls arrived for a pre-scheduled appointment. The lady stopped doing my nails and I was moved to a chair where the male owner took over. Everything felt rushed and there was gel polish all over my skin which burns when cured with the lamp. I understand I did not have an appointment, but I wish they would turn people away if they don't have enough employees instead of providing sub-par, rushed service. I paid for my service but did not tip (that says a lot because I ALWAYS tip) Needless to say, I won't be returning.

    I really wanted to give this establishment a great rating/review but it's impossible. Everyone is really nice. They're great salespeople. But their workmanship is not good at all. I asked for dip and was talked into "hard gel". The gel brush was raggedy and the gel was ultra thick. I was going to verbally question the product but was into my positive affirmations I was listening. I was feeling the zen, y'all. Peter didn't shape... ok. Ok!! I can't write a review. I'm really trying to be nice but the words won't type out. JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!! LOOK AT MY NAILS! Now look at yours. LOOK AT MY TOENAILS! Now look at yours. Now quietly, without snickering ... I said "STOP LAUGHING!!!" Look at my nails. Did you look? Now look at yours. Yeh, Gurl!!! Look at yours and you probably got some press-ons from Target. Whereas I paid $90 for mine!!! Did I mention they're fkg overpriced!!! There. I wrote it. I feel better now. Now it's time for my sound bowl class.

    I returned to this salon out of convenience. I could not recall why it was not my regular nail salon until I was overcharged and it all came back. A $35 nail fill turned into $60. Apparently since I asked for a SIMPLE design, tech decided $25 in addition to $35 fee was "appropriate "!!! Not to mention you can still see through the tip of the nail. I DID ask for added polish to cover tip, was going to be an additional $10? Take a look at pointer finger..WTF

    Nancy did a wonderful job doing a gel fill for me, her station is very clean and she is very professional, you can tell she cares about the work she puts out there and wants to satisfy her customers. Thank you again Nancy! Be sure to book with her!

    I'm surprised this place had such good reviews The only way to call it is raggedy The towels were torn and didn't look too clean The pillows looked dirty with spots of nail polish The lady doing my pedicure spent more time talking than doing my nails She didn't use a base coat under the polish

    Dear goodness don't come here for a pedi. I got poked and cut like crazy. And the polish looks horrible. Its all over my skin. I didn't get gel and when I went to sit at the fans I was just left there. I tried turning on one but it wasn't turning on so I moved to a different spot. I'm never coming back here. Not worth $35. Fast pedicure ever. 2 stars because my feet are soft. But it freaking hurt.

Upon entering, I was greeted by the front office receptionist with a warm welcome. I explained that it was my first Brazilian wax. The service was discounted by half, so I spent $41.50 (including tip). I was also given a comprehensive breakdown of the entire process, including specific rules, especially when booking future appointments with European Wax Center. In this visit, I was served by Zoe. She was such an incredible wax specialist! We were both laughing and having a great time in our conversation. Because of this, it took less focus away from the waxing process itself. In essence, the entire waxing wasn't as painful as I anticipated. It definitely helped that I took Tylenol before the appointment, too. All in all, I had an extremely positive experience. I want to express my gratitude, especially to Zoe, for making it comfortable. I will definitely return here in the future.

I called to let them know I would be 7 mins late. I was told if I was past 9 mins I couldn't be taken. Okay No problem. When I arrived I was not greeted and she didn't even look up to acknowledge me. I sat there for a couple minutes , then I needed to use the restroom due to a girl emergency. I told her I'll be right back. I see my waxer (Rattana) in the hall and she ignores me and shuts her door. When I come back out the front desk tells me I can't be seen bc I'm past 9 minutes even though I was there before the 9 minutes. She told me there were no more apts for the rest of the day. I told her okay let me rebook on the app. They did have appointments ... so I rebooked for a hour later with a different waxer. When I come back she didn't check me in again or even acknowledge me. My prior waxer saw me again while I went to check out and ignored me again .. so weird considering the past 8 appointments she cried about her bf breaking up with her while she waxed me ..seems like they only care about themselves and not their clients. Then the front desk calls me to ask if I have any negative or positive feedback about my last apt.. umm that's awkward when it's the same front desk girl who completely lacked professionalism and good communication.. Why didn't they have someone else call? I made a formal complaint to corporate and never heard from anyone .. I'll never be back to this location.

My disappointment comes from the overall handling of the situation as a longtime returning customer. I completely understand that scheduling conflicts happen and that businesses have policies and time limitations. However, what was most frustrating was the lack of accountability or meaningful effort to make the situation right after the confusion occurred. As someone who has supported your business for years for special occasions like birthdays, Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day, I expected a little more customer care and consideration rather than an explanation of why the situation happened. I think what disappointed me most was that the response focused heavily on justifying the circumstances instead of acknowledging the customer experience itself. A little empathy and flexibility can go a long way in retaining loyal clients. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been a loyal customer of Perfect Balance Day Spa in Lodi for years and have regularly visited with my mother for occasions like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, birthdays, and other special celebrations. Because of the positive experiences I've had in the past, I recently called a week before Mother's Day to schedule two "Slices of Heaven" services so my mother and I could treat each other for the holiday. I was understanding and accommodated the change without issue. Shortly after, I received another call informing me that if they were to keep the appointment, the "Oasis" portion of the service would only be provided for approximately 30 minutes instead of the full advertised hour. I politely asked whether there could be a price adjustment since the full service would not be rendered, but I was told, "Yeah, no." The receptionist, Kayla, made it seem as though she had already checked with a higher-up regarding the matter. She was polite throughout the interaction and even acknowledged that she understood my frustration and agreed that the situation did not seem right. Because of that, this review is not necessarily a reflection of Kayla personally, but rather of the management decision and lack of accommodation from whoever she had to answer to, whether that was a supervisor or the owner. I also asked whether another day could be arranged instead, but the communication felt hesitant and delayed, which ultimately led me to cancel the appointment altogether and make arrangements with Appellation aka Wine and Roses. It's unfortunate because I have genuinely supported and enjoyed this business for years. The 3 stars are for the quality of massages and prior customer service experiences I've received in the past. However, I deducted 2 stars due to the repeated scheduling changes, uncertainty, lack of accommodation, and unwillingness to provide a fair adjustment for a shortened service that could not be fully delivered as advertised. Very disappointing.

The place is clean, has a clean bathroom, has convenient parking, is organized, and smells nice (besides the smell of acrylic and other chemicals). However, it is pretty cramped inside. There is not a lot of ways to walk anywhere without having to contort a little bit. That being said, that is not the reason I took 2 stars off my rating; it is because the service here is inconsistent. The first time it was a pleasant experience, the second time I found it strange the staff pointed a finger at me before laughing about something, and the third time it was okay at best. This most recent visit, the lady servicing my mom had a little attitude and the gentleman servicing me did not check with me if I liked my french tips or not (when they all checked and asked last time) before curing them. As you can see, he was most definitely playing in my toes. I did not want anymore trouble today, so I did not really bother to ask for it to be corrected. Although, I did ask my technician if it was too late for him to correct it, to which he said "It's already dry". I was already overstimulated with the place being packed like sardines on a Thursday morning and just wanted to leave. I am especially disappointed since they have done better in the past. I really do not know what the issue could be since I have always been polite, said please and thank you, tipped more than 15% every time (except for this last time), etc. I hope they can do better.
