What a great time my first and I had. Ari our girl was just amazing, so patient with a group of 7 middle age Woman, we ended up staying for 5 hours just having a great time. We did the brunch, the food had amazing reviews by everyone, specifically the pastries OMG, so beautiful! You must go to the bathroom and bring your phone, it is just gorgeous . Definitely hands down on of the most Instagramable places to visit. Do keep in mind the place is very, very cozy. They do have a small seating area outside if you prefer that.

The food was amazing but it's on the pricey side. It's so cute inside but a bit small.. RSVP recommended.. street parking w/ meters except on Sundays.

Really cute place, but I wouldn't go in the winter again. We went pretty early (right at open) and it was freezing even though we sat to the back of the restaurant. Food was really good and portions are really big. Their maduros were a 10/10. Service was a little slow. We were the only ones in the restaurant and the waiter was yapping most of the time that we were trying to order another coffee. I ended up getting up to pay at the counter since he took so long to bring the check.

Great location right next to the park. Exceptional service food was fantastic. Ambience the restaurant is very inviting.

First and foremost this place is a hotspot so a reservation is a must. Street parking outside only. Conveniently located down the block from the A train on Dyckman. If you would like to spend a relaxing time while dining please consider the day and time you go. Can't expect to sit 3 hours on a Friday when space is limited. Staff goes above and beyond for the customers and with limited seating they are doing the best that they can. Ambiance is everything here so it's comfy and cute. My family and I ordered drinks entrees and a bunch of cake. My brother had the oxtail risotto while we had the Churassco with Tostones. Presentation is everything and they showed out with the Pink drink and Churrasco garlic butter flamed table side. That steak was so juicy and tender cooked perfectly. We were moaning as we ate. Desserts were chefs kiss at the end couldn't resist more then one.

So I decided to try this spot once more and out server this time josimar was amazing. He was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious.

Cute little bistro with two locations. Service was slow and the place was empty, food was good but lacked. I had the Dominican Breakfast dish and the mangu was dry. My mother had the New York Steak dish, she asked for well done and half the steak was medium well. The chicken empanadas were delicious. Grabbed a few pastries to go; expensive and aren't worth it. All in all, don't go out your way to make a visit.

I went for brunch with my husband, and it was our first time visiting. The space is charming and feels like stepping into a little princess room. The Victorian gold-framed mirrors are beautiful, the teacups are gorgeous, and I especially loved the Toile de Jouy patterned dishes. Even the bathroom carries the same decorative touch, which made the whole place feel thoughtfully styled. The service was just as lovely as the space. Leo was attentive and made sure everything was taken care of, and our server Kenny was wonderful. She was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Before we left, she invited us to come back and wished us a relaxing rest of our Sunday, which felt very sincere and personal. If I had one small note, it would be that the tables are a bit too close together. Since we went on a date, the space felt a little tight for my taste. That said, it didn't take away from how much I enjoyed the place overall. The food, the atmosphere, and the service made it a really pleasant visit, and I truly enjoyed my experience here.

This bistro is so cute and charming. It has a modern Victorian, feminine, and floral pink aesthetic. It's very small. The service is excellent and so is the food. We had the steak empanadas that were so tender and moist on the inside and wrapped in a light and crisp shell. The seasoning was spot on--savory and well-balanced. We also had the Dominican breakfast which was delicious. The mangu was rich and paired so well with the fried salami, fried cheese, and the fried egg. The casava breakfast was also delicious-- it tasted like a deconstructed croquette. The Beso D'Angelo cake was delicious. I'm not a big fan of flan so I can do without the flan middle but the sponge of the cake and the tres leches mixture was perfect.

Came to this location again today around 11am and had the tres leches pancake and my friend had the burger with egg on top. It came with a salad on the side that was really good. I also ordered the beef empanada which was so good. I loved my food and the service. This location is small but the staff here is nice and attentive. I recommend coming on a weekday as it's slower and easy to just walk in. I came once in a Friday around 3pm and now today at 11am no issue at all and fabulous service. I can't wait to come back

Oh my goodness!!!!! This place is just like an Alice in Wonderland the Dominican version. The attention to detail from the utensils, food, and the way they give you a check is artistically done. I got the Dominican breakfast (which is the tres golpes) and they don't skimp out on the cheese or Dominican sausage. I also got the oxtail mofogitos they are delicious. My wife order the tres leches pancakes and the sweet plantain chicken and waffles another dish that was delicious. The atmosphere felt you were in another fairytale story and the waitress Kirby was very helpful on helping us choose when we were undecided because everything on the menu was delicious. I just recommend to reserve a spot before heading to this place because it gets busy.

This place is awesome. I've been seeing a lot of influencers on social media reviewing this place and it's always been amazing reviews. What that being said I've been to a few places that influencers have reviewed and let's just say most of them did not meet my expectations based on the reviews. I decided to try this place because even if the food wasn't top tier, I wanted to go for the experience. I decided to do a mommy and me Day. With my sister friend and our daughters. We had a 9am reservation on a Saturday morning and there was metered parking right in front. I love the design of this place it looks exactly like it does in photos...We were seated right away. The waitress was very nice and friendly. She took our orders and the food came out fairy quickly. Each of our meals were served on beautifully designed china. Each of us had a different pattern. Which was nice. We ordered Tostones Avocado Toast, Pancake Tres Leches, Sweet Plantain Chicken and Waffles, and Breakfast Bistro Burger.Everyone enjoyed their meal. The only thing I would have like to be better was the croissant on the breakfast burger. It wasn't that fresh, it tasted stale. The food portions were plenty. This place is for everyone, there were people eating alone as well as in groups. The vibe is loud which I didn't mind because it was literally people laughing and talking enjoying their meals and each other. The girls really liked this place. Especially the dessert display which is their favorite. We couldn't leave without dessert for the girls. One choose the mango and the other choose the mango. Neither of them were disappointed. . If you been on the fence about this place my advice is please try it. It's best to make reservations because they do get packed pretty quickly.

    Desserts to choose from.

Food was so good. I had the Dominican breakfast and my friend had the avocado toast. The drinks were also good, very flavorful. The desserts were so cute it was hard to pick one. I got the chocolate mousse bear with raspberry filling. It wasn't too sweet, was a perfect balance. My friend had the mango one and it had pieces of mango in it, super good! Service was attentive and we didn't feel rushed. The restaurant itself was cute, clean and decorated.

I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

I honestly…read moredid not expect to be this impressed, but this ended up being one of the best burgers I have ever had -- and quite possibly the best burger of my life. I ordered the burger with cheese, and everything about it was perfect. The burger itself was THICK, incredibly juicy, and cooked beautifully. You could immediately tell that the meat was high quality, and knowing that they use Creekstone beef made it even better. The flavor was rich and beefy without being overwhelming, and every bite was incredibly satisfying. The patty had that perfect combination of a beautifully cooked exterior while still being extremely juicy and tender inside. And the bread deserves its own paragraph! The brioche-style bun was excellent. It was soft, slightly buttery, and substantial enough to hold the thick patty without falling apart or becoming soggy. It complemented the burger perfectly rather than taking away from the meat. The combination of the juicy Creekstone beef, melted cheese, and that excellent brioche-style bread was honestly phenomenal. What really stood out to me was how substantial the burger was. This wasn't one of those thin burgers where you finish it and immediately feel like you could eat another one. It was thick, hearty, juicy, and incredibly flavorful. Every bite felt like you were getting exactly what you want from a great burger. The fries were also excellent. I really appreciated that they weren't overly fried or greasy. They had a great texture and were crispy without feeling heavy or excessively oily. Sometimes fries can completely overwhelm a meal because they're so fried, but these were much more balanced and paired perfectly with the burger. Overall, Friedman absolutely exceeded my expectations. The burger, especially with the cheese, was outstanding, the Creekstone beef was incredibly flavorful, the brioche-style bun was excellent, and the fries were the perfect accompaniment. If you're in NYC and love burgers, this is a must-go-to. I would absolutely order this burger again and would highly recommend Friedman to anyone looking for a thick, juicy, high-quality burger. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever

It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.
