My Chicken was undone and looked unpleasant
    Kayla J.

This place was so ass , Food was trash , Cold and they didn't have that many options. I don't even wanna rate them. This is not a place that should be open still. Only thing that was coo was the service , but they should find another job cuz this place ain't it!!!!! Somebody should call the health inspector!!!! EAT AT YOU ON RISK. I am another contestant of eating this food.. my stomach is bubbling maybe 30 mins after consuming an egg roll. The crab Rangoon had NO CREAM CHEESE. It was just the breading and it was tough. More of a burnt color than golden brown. The chicken was undone and pink as a pig. I honestly am disgusted and my cousin found a roach by the ice cream bin.

It has a lot of variety.I believe it's an authentic chineese restaurant. The only downside is that there were few flies in the place.Service was good.

Although there may be less food selection than other Chinese buffets in St. Louis, the quality is better. I enjoyed all the food I tried here. The chicken steak and shrimp dishes tasted great in particular. I was glad they had broccoli chicken and green beans as dishes. The dessert bar had your traditional Chinese buffet dishes: ice cream cups, fruit and pudding. The folks working here were hospitable. The staff regularly refilled drinks and cleaned off plates. They used paper plates and plastic utensils. Dining area did not have any windows. There was Chinese music playing in the background. The atmosphere was casual and relaxing. I really enjoyed my buffet dinner experience here. I highly recommend it!

Maybe it was because it was frozen idk, it tasted bad and I love sushi. Crab legs had no crab meat in them what so ever? Not to mention there was also not butter even if they had something in them, crawfish looked seasoned but once you actually ate them not a sign of seasoning, tasted straight like a creek, the giant lemon pepper shrimp where fried but soggy and the shell was impossible to remove and if you managed too the shrimp was not good. NOTHING WAS HOT the noodles and rice where above room temperature but that's about it, everything was way below room temperature despite just being put on the buffet and had the appearance of steaming hot (was just water under the trays steaming) The ribs where bland and unflavorful, the chicken was overcooked and bland, nothing was relatively good Went over to the hibachi to get some actually fresh and warm food, there was no one there so I rang the bell, waited for 5 minutes nothing, went and asked if there was someone for the hibachi, they said just ring the bell, went back and rang it again and waited for about 5 minutes for no one to show up (no one did) finally gave up on trying to get something to eat Got the check and went to talk to the manager lady upfront only to be laughed at by her and the server because "sushi supposed to be cold" tried to explain it was still frozen only got laughed at and ignored, she was beyond rude and ignorant and completely ignored the fact everything else is cold and no one is actually running the hibachi, she could care less and just ignores you and when she does listen just laughs at you, complete psycho behavior Worst food I have ever gotten, been coming here every year for the last 5-6 years for my birthday and this year was disgusting Drove an hour and a half, left hungry and disappointed, this was dinner too so I can't imagine how bad lunch is. I'm not sure if there under new management or what the story is but AVOID AT ALL COSTS, the food was SCARY cold im not sure it was safe to eat. Only redeeming factor is the place is clean and well decorated, good ambiance, horrible experience will never return, would give it 0 stars if I could.

The staff were very nice and easy to work with. They had a decent selection of items from a grill (where you pick your items and they cook it hibachi like style in front of you), they had a decent amount of sushi, and other Asian-American food classics. They also had a nice dessert selection. Overall for $15 for lunch it was a good price, relaxing and filling meal.

I won't describe their physical appearance, to protect their privacy, but suffice it to say that I knew that I was in the right place. Inside, it was more of the same: guys who looked like they used to work construction until their ankles gave out; girls who order a Caesar salad with the dressing on the side. Is this where people started going after the Department of Health finally did away with Happy China? I was altogether unfamiliar with HuHot. My little brother used to work there when it was a Ruby Tuesday, back in the dark ages. As I remarked to a member of my group, it's now unrecognizable. The decor is surprisingly elaborate and nicer than it needs to be, given the overall concept. I've driven by this place once or twice when I was in the area for a discounted Toyota and a delicious bubble tea, and I thought it might be a more formal Panda Express, that you might take your wife to on your anniversary, and that the name might be a slightly insensitive play on the phrase "Who's hot?" The latter might still be true, but this is no ordinary Chinese restaurant. It falls somewhere in between a buffet, like the aforementioned Happy China, and one of those Japanese places where they squirt sake in your mouth from a squeeze bottle. No Diddy. It's all you can eat, and you get to select the ingredients and give them to a guy to cook on a big circular flat top. It's like my lifetime dream of being allowed to run amok in the kitchen at a Taco Bell--somehow coming up with new permutations of the same small handful of ingredients, bringing back the Meximelt for one night only (no Ricky Martin), feeding myself from the business end of that sour cream gun, like Pauly Shore drinking straight from that Slurpee machine in Encino Man--but with Chinese food instead of arguably inauthentic Mexican food. It's a brilliant idea. I went two plates deep, but I could have easily gone for five. I wasn't with that kind of group. They've been looking at me weird ever since I accidentally ate two meals at Shake Shack, as if I committed some sort of weird crime. The first trip was really just to familiarize myself with the selection of ingredients and the overall process. The second trip, I was really able to go in. The first time, I was careful about selecting ingredients that made sense together, like something you could actually order at a Panda Express. I got a few different meat ingredients, some onions, mushrooms and what have you, but none of the seafood, and I didn't combine any of the sauces. Back at the table, it occurred to me that anything you get here probably tastes more or less the same. The sauce ends up being the dominant flavor. On my second trip, I was able to confirm as much. I went full-on land, air and sea, with a haphazard sampling of noodles, vegetables and what have you and a combination of sauces, including a generous ladle of the second hottest sauce they carry. Just as I suspected, it was still good. There was a time in my life when, after eating here once, I would have dedicated myself to trying to find the one combination of ingredients that somehow doesn't work, or going back enough times that I was politely asked to leave, and the fact that that would even occur to me, at this point, is a testament to the brilliance of the idea that they've come up with.

They also have a carry out and made to order menu but I've only ever been for the buffet. Stand-out items for me are their freshly made sushi, potstickers, honey chicken, black pepper chicken, and lo mein. I love that so many of their dishes have big pieces of broccoli, onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc. In addition to the sushi bar they also have a stir-fry bar where you can go through and select your own raw items (including eggs, meats, fish, veggies, & noodles) and they cook it up for you in the sauce of your choice. I feel like I haven't found the sauce I really love yet and stir-fry can be so filling that sometimes I skip this part to make sure I have enough room for sushi and my other favs!
