This was a cute local coffee shop. Menu is very minimal but good. Only had two food options, which I was surprised about. It was good. I ordered the hot latte with maple syrup and the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I was surprised they served the coffee in a paper cup, so I couldn't get a photo of what it actually looked like. Very nice if for a friend date or just to hang out by yourself or do some work. Inside and outside seating. The baristas were friendly and answered all of our questions.

Had the opportunity and privilege to come back and try their CORTADO and their LATTE again. Whatever they are using for their espresso drinks are smooth and tastes great as a CORTADO. It really was as a great as I remember. There was no line to get in. No line to order. As soon as I gave my order to the cashier, the barista started making the drinks cutting down on the wait time. The indoor and outdoor spaces are chill. Some people were working and some people were catching up with friends. Plenty of street parking in this section of Ventura Blvd.

I came in the late afternoon so it was pretty quiet here. There were a couple people working on their laptops or writing in notebooks. Definitely seems like it gathers an artsy/hip crowd. It's pretty no frills and even looks like maybe they haven't fully set up the interior yet. I like that the shop is super open air, but it does mean flies and it can get a little warm inside the shop. Service was okay. I ordered a dirty chai and a cold brew and both of the drinks were super solid! The chai had just the right amount of spice and the and the two shots of espresso definitely did the trick to keep me going for the rest of the afternoon. My husband said he really enjoyed the cold brew as well. Overall, solid drinks and a super casual environment, no frills. I would come back to grab a quick coffee in the future!

This place is usually my favorite coffee place in the valley. Amazing tectonic beans and Aussie strong shots. Outlets, WiFi, clean bathroom and plenty of street parking. I've met the friendly owner, his sweet little kids, and I adore every part of this establishment. I had one of the worst coffee shop experience on July 28, unfortunately. Despite of being the store supposed to be open until 5pm, they kicked me out at 4:40pm because the barista said he has to "go to work". He also mentioned there is a plumbing issue with the espresso machine, but what does it have to do with him leaving early for his other "work"? I went to Red Window and bought a cup of coffee, because I had an online meeting from 4-5pm. If they were going to shorten the time, they should have informed customers. Also, his friend was staying at the store as well, and his phone was connected to the store's speaker systems. I don't know if he was another barista just off duties, but him keeping changing the volume of music here and there was very distracting. The barista was not aware of some of the items on the menu when I asked what they were, so maybe he was new or just helping out. I understand that emergencies can happen- but a little heads up like "we are going to close in 5 min" or so would be nice. I love this store and come here 2-4 times a week, whenever I stop by at work nearby, but this experience was definitely something that makes me reconsider my go-to place in the area. They have built such a good community with a high quality coffee selections. It is such a shame that they hire someone who doesn't seem to be professional in customer service.

Red Window Coffee is a true neighborhood favorite. The coffee is consistently great--smooth, strong, and made with care. They've recently added matcha to the menu and it's excellent--balanced, not overly sweet, and thoughtfully prepared. Bella, the new owner, is an amazing baker. The pastries are always fresh and clearly made with real skill and attention to detail. You can tell quality matters here. Dan is one of the friendliest baristas around. He works quickly but never makes you feel rushed, and everything comes out just right. The vibe is relaxed with good music, free WiFi, and plenty of outlets if you want to hang out and get some work done. It's the kind of local spot you're happy to support. My only complaint? I wish they were open later!

    Inside of restaurant looking outside

The Red Window is a quirky spot, with only a couple caveats. The location is cute, theming is great and there is plenty of seating, inside and outside. The red window motif is seen throughout the cafe, inside, outside, and even in the bathroom as well. The coffee and tea were very good and at a great price too! I got a hot earl grey and my partner got a hot flat white and we enjoyed both our drinks very much. On the day we visited the music was broken for the first time in 2 years, according to the employee, but despite this, the cafe still had an alright atmosphere. Lots of outlets plus the free wifi had no limit and was very speedy!! Main downsides: I guess they keep the door and sliding window open all day, which allows for a nice breeze but means there is a lot of street noise and on a day when it's cold, such as the day I visited, makes for a chilly room. The bathroom definitely needed a refresh as well and was a bit dirty and missing some items. The floors def needed a sweep and they have limited food options, just some bags of chips, a few pastries and egg and cheese sandwiches. There is no designated parking lot so it's tough, given the area, but if you look on the nearby streets you should be all good. Overall, I'd give this a 3.5 overall- would likely back again. Maybe on a day that's a little warmer and when I make sure to bring headphones. Such a cute spot!

The cold brew I got was not good at all. It's been a while since I bought coffee that tasted like this. Very disappointed. I didn't drink it. I also got a stuffed croissant which was delicous. The service was unfriendly, no welcome or any acknowledgement. The vibes here aren't for me. It was my first time here. I like supporting local businesses and trying spots I haven't been to.

Like some have mentioned, I used to also go to the location down the street that was just a tiny window and this place the best! So I'm happy they are back with this larger space. I'm more of a simple gal with my iced lattes, whole milk and no sweetener or a cappuccino. Its always so tasty! Highly recommend.

The Customer Service by the barista, Bella was organically five star excellence!!!!! When greeting me, she had a very warm and friendly smile, she actually remembered my drink order from the last time I was there, which is extremely impressive, Bella never made me feel rushed while taking my order, and she did the drink flawlessly perfectly .. Whoever the owners are of this coffee shop, they should consider themselves very lucky and blessed to have Bella as their team member ...

I think I've tried half of the menu here lol. My go to is definitely the New York roll and the mango passion fruit cruffin. I love that they change their New York roll flavours often. What really stood out for me was how well balanced the flavours are in their fillings, especially in the New York roll and the cruffin. They also do really well with their citrus combos like the cruffin, exotic or the mango eclair. I wish there was more custard in their fruit danish and sometimes the croissants aren't as soft, possibly a little overcooked. But the pastry on the cruffin was one of the softest and most delicate I've ever had. The macarons are also great especially the yuzu, passionate, hazelnut and raspberry flavours.

Luckily because it was a Sunday, we found parking right in from r of the store. From the outside and inside it truly has the Parisian patisserie vibe and feeling, which I love! Once we got inside, we were mesmerized by all the beautiful and delicious looking pastries and dessert options. I also love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating options. We decided to sit inside, one because it was way too hot, and secondly there was this aggressive homeless man who threw a chair towards the glass window of the patisserie. That was scary! The girls working there were aware of this, because apparently he's done this a few times, where he's thrown their outdoor furniture around, so they called 911 immediately, so hopefully that won't be an issue for them in the future! Luckily no one was harmed and no glass was broken, and the psychotic man was far gone. My friend and I decided to get two different desserts. I got the pavlova, and which is one of my favorites. I love the creamy and crunch meringue and the combination of the tart berry filling inside. My friend loves peanuts, so she got the dessert that looked like a peanut, which she loved! The two girls working there were really sweet and offered us a free croissant as a compensation for the momentary chaos caused by the aggressive homeless man, which my friend and I truly appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience here, and I'd definitely come back to try some of their other desserts!

Walked in yesterday mid-evening at 5:30 pm and was greeted by Anna with a pleasant, pretty smile. She was kind, helpful and very nice. They also sell other types of pastries, beverages, candy, cake, chocolates, boreks, with different fillings. My favorite is the Cheese borek. Rolls too. With different fillings.. and so much more.. All I needed and was craving for was 4 of their fresh, delicious Ponchiks. They were nice enough to give me an extra one--free of charge. The smell of those Ponchiks transported me back to Armenia. It was fresh and very hot. Came straight from the fryer. Since I was going to have dinner next door, I didn't want to get full on sweets. For 4 Ponchiks I paid ($13.60). The lemon blueberry cheesecake was the smallest thing I've ever seen. For the price i think ut would at least be a little taller. Its crumb topping added great texture to an otherwise lackluster cheesecake. There was simply not enough lemon and I felt it was missing some lemon curd or fresh lemon zest. The Boston cream pie -- although attractive -- missed the flavor profile for me completely. The custard wasn't that trademark vanilla cream and the chocolate coating reminded me of the time I tasted dark cocoa powder straight.
