I am one that as much as possible do not like to leave a negative review but I wanted to voice out…read morethe bad experience I've had with Water Heater Pros which hopefully will save someone else the time, money and hassle of dealing with this company in the future. Our Navien tankless water heater was taking long to heat up the water in the morning, usually after several hours of not being used. So i reached out to Water Heater Pros and spoke to Steve who i think is the manager. He said it likely needs to be de-scaled since i have not done that for several years. Steve was quick to schedule an appointment for someone to come out to our house. I got quoted $329 which i thought was steep but if it will fix the issue then I'm ok with it. Valentin was the technician who worked on our water heater, who was courteous and performed the service. He told my wife and I that there is likely an issue with the internal valve and then later on noticed that there is also an issue with the display where it has trouble keeping memory wherein it was not able to hold the date/time settings. Valentin said he was going to have to order the parts and follow up with me. After he left, I played around with the monitor and was able to properly set the date/time properly and has kept the current settings until now (3 months after). After about a month of no communication, i then called WHP again and spoke to Steve to follow up on the service and that i am still having the same issue with the unit and am still waiting for replacement parts. He also seemed dismissive of hearing out my concerns when i told him the monitor appeared to be properly working again and if he could have one of his guys take another look at the unit but flat out said "NO." Steve then tells me that he reached out to Navien and request I send him paperwork on when our water heater was worked on by the builder so he can provide that to Navien for a replacement. I got the paperwork he requested and sent it to the email provided a few days after we spoke. I wait about a week but no response so i start calling WHP and have left Steve about 3-4 voice messages in the coming 2-3 weeks but STILL NO RESPONSE. I then was able to speak to a lady at their office who says all their technicians are out on the field but have someone reach out to me when one becomes available. 2 days later and have yet to hear from anyone! I am extremely frustrated with their lack of professionalism and accountability into their work. Very poor communication, difficult to get ahold off, and non-existent follow up on their end to the point where i tried reaching out several times with no response at all. Worst part is, i am still stuck with the same issue with our water heater that started this whole process in the first place, which has been ongoing for about 3 months now since I wanted to give Water Heater Pros the benefit of the doubt, but enough is enough.

As great as that was, i should have done more estimates as they charged way more than it should have been. Word of advice, get a toilet through a store, then have them install it for cheaper. Anyhow a different tech came to put the new toilet in. He was nice and did a good job. However, should have checked the upper tank and it was wobbly a bit. I messaged them and ask if that's normal. A different tech came and temporary fixed it. I believe it's that type of tank that is just not steady in the upper part (top flush button) I ended up again using a towel to put behind to make it sturdy. Imagine that, a pricy toilet that uses a towel to keep the upper part sturdy. As annoying as it is to get estimates, you should definitely do that before you settle for one that's more pricy than it should have been. And all they care about is you rating them and keep asking you to rate them through email and phone.

We let the employee know that we keep our home cold, 68 degrees. We were assured the unit could meet this. My mom used Huft with good results and she had a unit that had to no problem keeping her house cold. During install there were delays and we were without AC in July. At the end of one day they told us they may not be able to return the following day due to prior commitments. I let them know I found this unacceptable and they returned. During the project, one of the technicians hit our brand new car while it was parked across the street. We witnessed the accident. Huft paid for the repair but it was highly inconvenient and frustrating, our car didn't even have plates yet. After the project was complete, our home would not cool below 75 degrees. I kept letting them know I felt the unit was too small for our home and this wasn't what we agreed to. We were told using calculations the unit was the correct size and cooling to 75 was appropriate. I mentioned my mom has a bigger unit and a smaller home. This was the reply I received from the manager, Chris: "If I feel the system is too small for the home I will have a larger one installed, I told you we stand behind our work 100%, but I am not going to just arbitrarily replace it with a larger one just because you "think" it is too small because your mom has a larger one." He was rude, arrogant and unhelpful. Ultimately they replaced it with a larger unit and shocker, it cools to 68 degrees as promised but it was months of back and forth to get to that point. We are having insulation replaced this week and we found out Huft left all the old duct work in our attic. Disappointing. We do use their maintenance plan and have always liked the technicians but given the choice over again we would choose someone else for install given the rude behavior from management and our install experience.
