The water heater in my rental home died the days before my landlord left for a two-week trip to China. Prior to leaving, he called Larry, authorizing him to do what he assumed would be a simple fix. Larry quickly discovered that the real problem was that the hot water heater was beyond repair and needed to be replaced. But Larry displayed a genuine sense of empathy for me not having hot water for 2 weeks, so he persevered in his efforts to find a temporary fix. I must mention that the hot weather was ending and the cold showers were quickly becoming unbearable. I had Mario install an external alkalizing water filter to my kitchen sink. It was a bit complicated because we had to remove the existing faucet and replace a few parts. I contacted a few other plumbers in the area and decided to go with Mario after he stopped by to give me a quote. Since the filter is not a conventional one, the other plumbers made it seem a bit complicated but once Mario looked it over, he knew exactly what needed to be done. He replaced our leaky kitchen faucet and pot filler in under an hour and then moved onto a bigger problem we had with a leak that led into a wall. My initial conversation with Larry was great as he explained to me what he thought might be happening and he would refer me to Mario who could get to me as soon as possible as I had no working showers or toilets. Mario was just fantastic. I had 2 plumbers work on fixing a back up in the past 2 months only for it to happen again and didn't really explain the problem completely. Mario was so thorough and explained in a way that made sense to me. He was very detailed and careful putting booties on over his boots just to step in the doorway to plug and unplug the equipment.
