Here is my ham sandwich with cheese on sourdough bread
    Richard H.

Here is my two cents, and the quality quantity and price of the happy donuts... it was delivered by Uber eats in a timely manner, and the driver went out of his way to properly deliver. Thank you Sarah... I order a pineapple strudel, a doughnut, and an apple fritter along with a sandwich for later.. A coffee arrived piping hot and was pretty good and a sandwich was just a sandwich.. Things that I was just disappointed in was I did not receive my pineapple strudel and was yet still charged by Uber eats or the store. The other items I was disappointed waswith my donut and my apple fritter. They were obviously not made fresh today. You could tell the difference having hot or anything sugar had crystallize so which made it actually very old or a day old.. I ordered this item at 8 AM on a Sunday morning..... I have had fresh donuts and I know what older donuts feel and taste like and this was the ladder not very fresh.! though I must say the prices were a little bit less expensive than other ones, but that does not justify for their failure to have a proper and proud product...... I also had to sandwich on sourdough bread. It was nothing spectacular. The ham was boiled ham and it was only like one or two slices for that price. I could've made it cheaper...

    SB 478 regarding fees

FEES! Be careful if you use your credit card, they automatically charge an additional fee (I think 4%) to your credit card. The employees have no clue. This is not stated anywhere I can see, therefore NOT LEGAL according to SB 478. DO NOT LET THEM CHARGE YOU THIS FEE!

A good place to hangout for a coffee & donuts. The atmosphere is friendly, a lot of natural light, & friendly staff. Highly recommend checking it out

    Menu and Pricing

SO excited for the new Happy Donuts. Better donuts! Better pricing! Better ambiance! Better staff! I read about the re-opening on Nextdoor and stopped by to check it out. The gal at the counter was super friendly. I used to be a "Donut Wheel" guy for decades but when they raised their prices to be unreasonable, I had to stop going. The previous incarnation of Happy Donuts became my new donut place and it was just ok and the prices were a little better than Donut Wheel. But the NEW Happy Donuts is much better tasting (really good) and it has the best prices in the area. You can pay the same amount at Safeway for a bad donut, or get a really great donut at Happy Donuts for the same price!

Stopped by late afternoon to satisfy my sweet tooth. They had a decent selection, and I went with my favorites: chocolate donuts. Everything tasted great, but my complaint is how expensive they were. Two donuts for $2.60?! Not worth the price and will probably go elsewhere cheaper.

Happy Donuts will make you happy!! 5 stars for service/staff and 4 stars for the donuts. The staff working here is always very sweet and patient. They're super nice and in terms of the donuts/coffee, everything is fresh and yummy! I personally love their raspberry filled donut holes, those are spectacular and will melt in your mouth. The raised chocolate and vanilla donuts are also brilliant! The only average donut I've had here is the plain vanilla cake donut. The coffee is pretty great too. This location takes good COVID precautions as well, plexiglass between the staff and customer. The last time I came here, there is no indoor seating and face masks are required. Love happy donuts!! Cheers!

Best donut holes ever! They're super buttery. My sister loves their apple fritters. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.

After the remodel the staff is rude, donuts weren't that good either. Probably won't be going back anytime soon.

The paella itself tasted delicious with lots of mussels, clams, shrimp and some chunks of pork. As of 1/26, it's 35 dollars a serving (serving size is a quart)

I was there last time for their freshly cooked paella and it was impeccable. Recently we came back…read moretwice, once on Sunday as I forgot that the paella was a Friday thing, so the staff told me that they usually have paella and clam chowder freshly cooked on Friday. They happened to have a small tub of Friday clam chowder left for sale, for a whopping $16! That price dropped my rating to a 4 star. Service is still 5, but man, the value proposition isn't as high as before. The clam chowder tasted good, creamy and all, but $16 for that is really hard to swallow. The store itself is clean and sells a variety of meat products and imported goods such as from Italy. We came again on Friday evening, at 5pm exact and saw the paella pan laid outside with some amount of paella piled up. The pan felt cold and we were confused if they haven't started cooking or those were the left over. So we went inside to ask and they said the paella was available starting at 5pm, so what's on the pan was cooked. We bought 1 portion, which feeds 2-3 and it came in two 16 oz tubs. For $35, it fed my husband and myself just right. The smoky flavor was on the rice with meat and lots of clams and mussels (but not those fatty mussels that you saw in the Belgium style dish). $35 for dinner of two is not as bad value as the $16 bowl of chowder. So overall, 3.5-4 stars for food and value, 5 stars for service and friendliness.

Customers usually come in, grab what they need, pay, and head out, which keeps things moving smoothly. One of the best things about this bakery is the incredible variety of pastries and breads. Whether you're craving something sweet or savory, there's plenty to choose from: melon pan, loaf bread, dinner rolls, chow mein bread, spaghetti bread, sweet potato bread, crab and roe bread, tomato bread, apple pie, and so much more. Don't skip the refrigerated section either! They carry fruit sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, fried bread, donuts, somen noodles in a cup, and other delicious grab-and-go items. They also offer rice balls and drinks that can be ordered at the register. If you're in the area, definitely stop by and give them a try. Small businesses like this deserve our support!

Clover Bakery & Cafe is a small Japanese-style bakery and café that feels like the kind of…read moreneighborhood spot you randomly discover and keep coming back to. We walked into a cozy, compact space with shelves filled with freshly baked breads, pastries, and prepared foods, all arranged in a way that makes you want to browse slowly even though the shop is small. The atmosphere has that simple, welcoming feel reminiscent of the small bakeries you find throughout Japan, focusing more on quality and variety than on a large café setup. Seating is limited, so it is better suited for grabbing something to go rather than spending a long time inside. The biggest draw here is the combination of Japanese baked goods and savory items. The bakery selection offers a great mix of sweet and savory options, with classics like melon pan standing out for its crisp sugary topping and soft interior that stays light without being dry. The curry bread and croquette bread are also popular choices, both feeling comforting and freshly made rather than overly sweet or greasy. The bakery items are reasonably priced, which makes it easy to pick up multiple things without feeling like you are spending too much, and the variety means there is always something new to try. The onigiri selection is what really makes Clover stand out compared to a typical bakery. They offer a variety of rice balls with fillings like spicy tuna, tuna mayo, and unagi, making it a great option for a quick breakfast or light meal. The rice is well balanced and the fillings give each onigiri a different personality. The spicy tuna has a nice kick that comes through without overpowering the rice, while the unagi adds a sweeter, more savory flavor that works especially well with the slightly salty rice. The onigiri are a practical, satisfying choice for anyone looking for something more substantial than a pastry. Beyond the baked goods and onigiri, Clover also has drinks, sandwiches, and desserts including cakes and other pastries. The strawberry cake is a nice lighter dessert option, and the overall menu gives plenty of reasons to visit whether you are looking for breakfast, a snack, or something to bring home. The offerings feel thoughtfully selected, with enough variety to cover different cravings without making the menu feel scattered. Service is friendly and efficient, and the small size of the shop adds to the charm. Since it has become a popular local spot, some items can sell out during busy hours, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Parking can also be a little challenging during peak times, but the quick grab-and-go style makes the visit easy to manage. Clover Bakery & Cafe is a great stop for anyone who enjoys Japanese bakeries. The combination of fresh breads, affordable prices, and unique savory options like onigiri makes it feel different from a standard bakery. It is the type of place where it is worth picking up a few items and trying a mix of everything, leaving you with the sense that you have found a little neighborhood gem that delivers on both quality and variety.
