    #30. BLT on Pesto bagel
    Maggie W.

Stopped by on the way to Castle Rock for lunch to go. I got a BLT on pesto bagel. I don't think you could ever really go wrong with a BLT, but some places the bacon doesn't taste as good. The bacon is nice and crispy! I liked the pairing with the pesto bagel, which had a nice crisp on the outside from the pesto and a nice chew on the inside. Service was super quick! This is very much a grab and go place since there isn't really seating inside. I look forward to coming back for more bagels, and perhaps a smoothie as well next time!

I've stopped by a good amount of times when I work in the area. Theyre pretty consistent with their quality. I've gotten a sandwich or 2 and tried their bagel dogs. Not gonna be my first pick but the price isn't bad for what you get. Plenty of parking in the small center. Pretty decent service and they get you in and out quick if you're in a rush. They handle the lines rather well.

A colleague brought a box to work today and cream cheese. The jalapeno cheeze bagel was amazing. The plain was also good too. My colleagues made it on time so i am assuming she got her bagels quickly and well. Just wanted to say they tastes great!

Definitely a small hidden gem. Decent amount of sitting very clean friendly welcoming environment on the borderline of Cupertino/saratoga! My girlfriend works for a clinic nearby and told me these were her go to during work hours. Since we were close by we decided to make a stop Bacon egg and cheese on a sesame bagel Sausage egg and cheese on a normal bagel And a Jalapeño cream cheese bagel All were excellent! Nice a warm crispy and fluffy Nice little mom and pop shop type of vibe Definitely can tell this is a favorite amongst the locals.

A must-visit if you're craving bagels in the South Bay. There's a great variety of bagels, cream cheeses, sandwiches, and even doughnuts, plus coffee to complete the stop. Everything tastes fresh and genuinely feels made with care.

    - this place runs like a well oiled machine! the staff are so kind and there's lots of regulars who stop by for a delicious bagel - i like all the variety of bagels and sandwich options they offer - i'll definitely be back to try more! - the omelet bagels are stuffed and so filling and yummy, the bagel itself was fluffy and no too dense or hard

Saratoga Bagels is located in a small strip mall off of Saratoga Sunnyvale Road. Looks to be a family-own business. Charming little store with simple decor. They also sell their branded t-shirts. There are a couple of tables inside and outside to sit and enjoy your bagel and coffee/drink. The service was friendly and welcoming from all of the workers. Vietnamese coffee (3/5) - the cup size was a bit small for the price. Otherwise, the drink was standard, enough condensed milk to cut the bitterness from the coffee. A decent drink. #23 Cream Cheese & Lox: Cream Cheese & Sliced Nova Lox (4/5). I went with the combo bagel. Crunchy outside yet soft chewy inside. Flavorful from all the toppings. The cream cheese was nice and creamy, and the Lox was silky smooth.

We've heard of this popular bagel place and finally got to try it out when we were in the area last weekend. They had a wide variety of bagels, cream cheese, bagel sandwiches and omelettes to choose from! We were lost in the long menu so decided to go with something safe - Lox bagel and Lox omelette. The Lox bagel had a well balanced flavor of bagel, cream cheese, Lox, lettuce and raw onions. But my preference was the Lox omelette. The omelette had soft scrambled eggs with cheese, and it was a nice combo with cream cheese, Lox, and the bagel itself. As someone who doesn't like eating carbs but loves eggs, I love the combo of scrambled eggs and bagel! Highly recommend!

    The Kona coffee is awesome.

We visited Saratoga Bagels in the summer of 2025. The service was excellent and the Kona coffee was delicious. The sign said $2 for a coffee refill so I only poured myself one cup. I recommend the raisin cinnamon bagels. Apply your own cream cheese because they put way too much on. I even said, "Put a light amount of cream cheese on it." It was still delicious!

We ordered the Morning Thai Cioppino and the Pimped Up Ramyun, and both were excellent. The Morning Thai Cioppino had a bold, authentic tom yum flavor with just the right balance of spice and tanginess. The Pimped Up Ramyun was a pleasant surprise. It definitely gave me instant ramen vibes, but in the best way possible. It was comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with much better ingredients than your average cup of ramen. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh. We'll definitely be back to try more dishes. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Final Thoughts: 4.20/5.0…read more Asian fusion brunch spots seem hard to come by around the San Jose area. There's more within the larger Bay Area space that I never really go to. My sister and I decided to divert from our original plans today and just go on a brunch date elsewhere. This is also a spot that's been on my list for the longest time and I'm only now just getting to it. Relaxing Saturday brunch day. Thinking it will be a 4 stars for me for this experience. Food: Darla's Benedict: 4.0/5 This is the classic eggs benedict. It comes with two medium poached eggs on rustic Millstone bread. On top, it will include candied bacon, tomatoes, yuzu hollandaise sauce with the side of crispy kale. The poached egg was done nicely. You can see in the video that the yolk is super runny and cooked perfectly. The bread is quite thick and does have that crispy edge on the crust. Personally, I hate tomatoes. They do put a few thin slices on it, so it wasn't enough to fully affect the taste. I did give those pieces of tomatoes away to my sister though. The yuzu hollandaise sauce is very thick and umami. The yuzu is a little overpowering for me with the acidity, but overall, there is this nice freshness to it. The candied bacon is super crispy and I really like the saltiness and sweetness to it. For the vegetable component, they provide crispy kale. Personally, I would have preferred a side of fries/potatoes/hash, fresh fruit, or something more fresh even like a side salad. The kale is nice and crispy, but it's so oily and I feel that took away more from the dish than contributed. Loco Moco No.1: 4.0/5 This is their steak river farm wagyu beef patty, grilled asparagus, picked cherry peppers, a fried egg, pomegranate, rice, parmesan mushroom, and ginger gravy. The beef patty was super tender and juicy. I wish there were more of the gravy or even if the gravy were poured over the beef. I feel like it just soaks all of it in. The gravy was super thick and umami. The ginger is very light and virtually not there almost, so I didn't realize it was there. Not a concern for me as that flavor can be overpowering. Rice leans on the dryer side for me. Definitely a preference as I'm sure others would be fine with that. For the vegetable component, I would prefer an alternative. Perhaps a fresh vegetable or side salad would work better or more mushrooms for that umami, or even a pickled veggie for that crunch. The asparagus looks nice and leans more on fine dining, but it's not significant enough to give that light and freshness to it. The flavor of it works well though. Egg was nicely cooked and had a beautiful yolk color. --------- Quality: Made to order Food was freshly made and everything came out hot to order. The kale was super crispy and like it was just fried in that oil. The loco moco was also super juicy and piping hot like it was made to order. Our plates were all nicely completed and brought out quickly it seems. Price: $$$ Their prices do lean on the higher side for a brunch. Usual prices will be around $17 to $26 with a few outliers. The Loco Moco was one of the outliers pricing at $33 for a plate. This is likely related to the beef patty. I can't say I would pay $33 for that plate. Given the form of the meat patty, I really couldn't tell the cut of the beef. Perhaps it is Wagyu, but its difficult for me to tell. Very juicy overall though. Of note, the portion sizes are smaller. They are plated on larger plates and gives more fine dining vibes, so matches the pricing. Service: Nice experience For being outside, there was still enough waiters/waitresses working, so it was fairly simple to get someone's attention to help us. They were very nice and checked in on us, which is always a plus. Very simple process and good experience with them overall. Ambiance: Shaded Outdoors and Indoors We decided to sit outdoors today given their shaded area. This was one of the highlights for me. Initially, I preferred indoor given the weather, but my sister asked if it was a shaded outdoors. It is and that's what makes it. The air felt really nice. There are pockets of sun that peak through the trees and shade, but that wasn't really a concern. Would definitely go here on another brunch date. Location/Parking: Public Parking Available This location is within downtown Saratoga area. I will say that getting in a out of here isn't the most idea, especially on a weekend where everyone wasn't to go out and spend the most of their day off. This place does have a small public parking lot. We were lucky enough to find a spot here, but will say it does partially depend on luck here.

That earns them FIVE STARS in my rating review opinion. I came too early one visit, so they had the PRIME RIB "French Dip Style" SANDWISH with Aus Jus Dipping... I was tempted twice to try it, but both times it was described less than desired... they do use fresh Prime Rib, not cold cut sliced roast beef deli meet as many places use... but they were honest in saying it was the fully cooked medium well to well done slices, which is discouraging to try, but maybe I need to see someone order it to judge the appearance more than the description. I prefer the type of Prime Rib Sandwich that is medium rare, moist, tender and juicy, similar to what "Hillstone" (formerly "Houstons") serves where it's red, pink and more raw but thinly sliced so it's not chewy.

Falastini food on the borders of Saratoga and Cupertino? Man, we lucky out here in South Bay…read more I've been wanting to try Tamra Grill for so long, especially since those in the South Bay know that this corner restaurant has just bad juju. So many restaurants have come and gone over the last few decades, I really hope Tamra Grill is here to stay. They're located in the same area as the real estate company and our favorite neighborhood classical-music-blasting Diamond gas station. There's outdoor seating and lots of indoor spots as well. Great for parties, date night, and those with dogs on their outdoor patio. The only wish I have for improvement is the longer than usual wait time for food. Yes, the food is fresh and made with local ingredients, which as we all know now is just how Palestinians do it. So the wait is worth it. But it's a lot to ask if you're hangry, just order yourself some chicken liver hummus and one bite of that delicious goodness with their pillowy-soft bread will soothe all your hanger. The eggplant musaka'a was so flavorful and just to die for with that creamy bechamel cheese right out of the oven. Their tagliatelle chicken meatballs was also our favorite. Al dente and flavorful was the theme for that night. Love that all Palestinian dishes are flavorful and seasoned with parsley or za'atar. Service is SO kind, and it really feels like a homey and family-owned spot, but with an elevated and hint of finer dining aesthetic. Every bite of Falastini cuisine just hits different knowing that their people, culture, cuisine are being attacked and a great antidote is to support all those in the diaspora with your coin. So glad Saratoga and Cupertino get to create a home for Tamra Grill. We need to jazz up the outdoor tarp seating with some olive trees and Jaffa oranges I think. Free Free Falasteen all the way.
