The staff is always so welcoming, the ambiance is chill and inviting, and the drinks are absolutely sensational. One of my personal favorites is the banana chai with a few shots of espresso trust me on this one The pastries are always fresh and delicious too. I used to work across the street and made sure I got my Soul fix regularly or it just wasn't a good day! I really wanted to love Nirvana Coffee because the menu sounded so creative, but the drinks didn't quite live up to the descriptions. We tried The Golden Child, Honey Lavender Latte, and Mabuhay Ube Latte. The Golden Child had an interesting blend of chai, espresso, and turmeric, but the flavors didn't come together as well as I expected. The Honey Lavender Latte was pleasant but a bit too sweet, with the lavender overpowering the coffee. The Mabuhay Ube Latte had a nice color and presentation, though the ube and coconut flavors were fairly subtle. Such a cute, happy spot! Love the decor, the art. The space was nice and clean and the service was top notch! I had a cappuccino and loved it. We also got a couple hot chocolate and the lady behind the counter was kind enough to customize it for us! I wish I lived close to Nirvana Soul! It's a hip colorful coffeehouse with good vibes only. Service is friendly and quick. It has always been a full house of customers whenever I go there. I love their interesting lattes and whole beans, and their pastries and quiches are to die for. They often sell out before I get there. Kudos to her for bringing good energy to all around. I was originally going to order a coffee but when we approached the store, Maya, the founder of Milkish watermelon seed milk was having a pop up experience and I tried the watermelon seed milk, which I coincidentally saw in Charlotte not too long ago. Long story short, one of the samples he offered was a matcha made with Milkish and it was delicious. I decided to ordered that as my drink. I'll need to come back to NS to try the coffee. One of my favorite places to get coffee because of the ambiance and good vibes. I've been coming here since they've opened and they have a great variety of flavors for lattes. There's free wifi, a lot of seating, and bold lively artwork decorating their interior. My favorite so far is the honey lavender latte with oat milk. Caution; their lattes are on the sweeter side so generally I get less sweet. I've also tried their pastries before but they're always a disappointment. Nothing too special. I got the Mabuhay Ube Latte and a mochi cake (which I think is also ube flavored). I liked that the latte had ube flavor without being overly sweet. I think it's a good blend of espresso, ube, and coconut flavors. The mochi cake itself has good ube flavor and nice chewy texture, but the topping is a bit too sweet (I ended scraping it off and eating it without the topping). The latte came out pretty quickly! Service was very nice and polite! The inside is nice and quiet. I'm a fan as someone who is looking for a good chai tea and good pastries. I would say that their quiche varieties are worth a visit and it combines well with their lattes and unique flavors. The place is great near downtown Cupertino and Apple so if you're having meetings or if you do not want to go to Phil's coffee and just want something different, I would say try out Nirvana coffee has great music a great service and both seating inside and outside. The warmed up quiche is buttery, and the crust is flaky, but I would say that the ham actually added a good flavor addition to my pastry. Now coming from San Diego I will say that this was a bit pricier, but I feel like everything in Cupertino is. I paid about $16 for a drink and a pastry. read more

Hip ambiance and delightful coffee drinks! Will definitely be back. My mom doesn't get out much since she stopped driving so getting out of the house for a latte is a big deal for her. Rather than our usual coffee at home I decided we should go out. The unique flavors on the menu really piqued my interest so that made the decision easy, and I haven't been to Cupertino in quite some time. Parking was easy, there is garage for retail customers to park in for free. It's close to what was once the Vallco Shopping center. It was like walk down memory lane as when I first moved to CA this was where I went to shop. Now back to regularly scheduled programming. Mom got regular latte, she is not adventurous when it comes to flavors. I on the other hand had to obviously try something fun so got the banana chai. We decided to YOLO on the calories and also get the churro waffle. Everything was good but the banana chai was the star. I found it a bit too sweet but mom loved it and actually reached for it a few times. It all worked out as I had a few sips of her latte to cut the sweet taste in my mouth. The churro waffle was freshly made and had a good texture and all. But it felt and looked like plain waffle with dusting of cinnamon and sugar. Perhaps I was expecting the waffle batter to be infused with churro goodness..thus I wasn't that impressed by it. Nothing wrong per se but if you are on a budget save your $ for the drinks is my advice. On our way out we saw a lady outside selling baked goods, not just any old baked goods but Indian inspired flavors. So of course we had to YOLO on the calories yet again and buy a Garam Masala croissant from Billi Bakery. After the decadent breakfast we took walk down the road and ended up at Main Street plaza and wandered upon the Porches & Pastry event.. no we didn't dare have any more food or drinks there . I was recently introduced to this location by a friend, and I have to admit that I love it. Their service and drinks feel bespoke, nothing like the corporate churn of other coffee chains. They've been able to customize the drink each time to my liking (particularly, the sweetness level) which I appreciate. The staff is incredibly friendly, and it seems like many of the customers here are regulars and known by name. That said, I felt incredibly welcomed and comfortable in here each time. It's a great place to work, grab a drink to go, or meet with someone. I like they have both indoor and outdoor seating options. They have all the "regular" drinks as well as some specialty drinks. My particular favorite is the ube latte, though I'd like to try all the other drinks they have. I can only imagine how delicious they are! The only downside I've found is that my mobile reception in here isn't always the best. Maybe this is actually a positive as it limits my time spent online and "forces" me to hang out and people watch instead. read more

Unbeknownst to both of us, it was their 3 year anniversary of this location, and they had such cute vendors outside the shop (S/O Daydreams Clay, KMS Studio, and PHsstore)! I love supporting women-owned small businesses! Onto the service, everything was great from start to finish. I got the Ube Latte with Macadamia Milk (which I've never had before) per the barista's recommendation. I'm usually a tea and not a coffee person, but this blew my mind!!!! Seriously. I could drink like 10 more of these (but I shouldn't because my heart would stop...) Ube Latte with Macadamia Milk - 10/10 - Actually so good I could cry. I still think about it.... The location is great with a huge parking lot. Which makes grabbing coffee/tea a breeze. Within the establishment, the walls were painted with a beautiful mural. Missing was the customer service, it was near closing and I wanted to use the bathroom before leaving the barista advised the "room has been cleaned" no bathroom is available. The cinnamon roll was tasty, especially near the center, but overall I wouldn't get these pastries again. There are definitely better spots if you're specifically after pastries. The ambiance is nice for getting some work done--they have some comfortable spots to sit. Conveniently located on Cupertino Main Street, though parking can be a bit tricky if you're just grabbing a coffee, as there aren't many short-term spots. The only positive part of the visit was the young barista who prepared my coffee. The employee who took my order and processed my payment was not professional. She was unable to calculate the correct change, and when I pointed out the mistake, she needed to consult another employee. She then said, "We'll give you your extra money," but that was not the issue--I simply wanted the correct change returned. No apology was offered for the mistake. A tasty cup of coffee always makes for a great to pick me up in the morning. Nirvana Soul Coffee has a couple of locations throughout the Bay Area, but my go-to location is this Cupertino location. There is available street parking in the front of the store and I was able to find parking easily. They have an extensive menu of coffee from traditional espresso to specialty lattes. The Mabuhay Ube Latte includes espresso, milk, Ube, and coconut and it is a tasty blend of flavors, but definitely on the sweeter side. I would ask for less sweet next time if they are able to do that. For my second visit, I purchased some coffee beans. I chose the Simpatica house blend and it is pretty good for my home brew coffee. They also offered to grind the beans. Overall, I enjoy this local coffee shop and would recommend trying them if you're looking for some coffee in the area. read more

We tried their Golden Child and Banana Chai. The Banana Chai was reaaaally good and refreshing. The banana flavor is subtle and doesn't taste too artificial if you know what I mean. The tumeric in the Golden Child gave a hint of a kick but blended well with the espresso. The cashier was super friendly and patient when we were trying to figure out what drink we wanted to order. Their drinks are delicious, well-priced for the area, they have a wide array of interesting lattes, and there is a decent assortment of food and snacks. My go-to lattes are the Hazelnut Mocha or the Mabuhay Ube Latte. The vibes are great for coffee dates or getting some work done, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I've been here (as well as their other locations) countless times since their opening and there's a reason I keep coming back! I'm late to the game but so happy that I finally got to try this place! I came here with a friend and got their iced mabuhay ube latte. The drink was sweet and delicious and I enjoyed the ube flavor. My friend said their drinks are usually on the sweeter side (perfect for me) but you can ask the barista to make them less sweet. The cashier was super sweet and the store had a nice and welcoming ambiance and good amount of seating inside and outside. It wasn't too busy when we went so we were able to snag the couch in the corner. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area but I hope they open more locations closer to the East Bay so I can try their lattes more often :) read more
