We were so excited to try this place. We didn't realize they closed at 8.We got there at 745 to order our food, to go. The front staff was really nice but the 2 guys in the back were talking trash yelling the f bomb and saying a bunch of other things, making us feel really uncomfortable, to the point where the ladies in the front had to close the door between. When we received our food one of the guys was staring at my son shaking his head at him. It was a horrible experience. To top it off none of us trusted eating the food they made. We threw away $90's worth of food. read more

I came for the 3rd time. They insisted we sit and take order at the table. I did not want to do that, because I did not want to tip, because I think their prices are kind of high and to eat there and have to tip makes it just that much more. I think charging 5.00 for the little bit of chicken they give you is unsatisfactory. They seem to charge 5 whether you get the whole order or half. The vegetables charge of $2 is better, but still you do not get much. I also thought they did not put enough sauce on it this time. I like the food and want to support this small business, but 18.00 for a half order of pasta is too much. I can go many places and spend less and get good food and spend the same and get food to take home. I sincerely wish them the best, read more

Upon Entering the ambiance is pleasant. The People and service is impressive. However, the food is so-so. More like fast-food Italian similar to Fazoli's. The most disappointing thing is their bread. Good Italian food includes good bread. They use Hawaiian rolls for bread!!!?? So when I opted out of the rolls, they offered a toasted sandwich bun instead. They said nothing about charging for it. I was under the impression it was a substitution. Upon reviewing the bill I discovered they charged $7 for the toasted sandwich bun!! What!!?? I do not recommend Happy Eats, and likely will not return. read more

Absolutely amazing!! At the business I work, we provide lunches for our team on Saturdays. I discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago and now Happy Eats is in our regular rotation. The place has a neighborly feeling and is clean and welcoming!! Their team is always cheerful, polite and warmhearted! The Chipotle Alfredo with bacon is one of my all time favorites!! Just spicy enough to feel the burn without taking off all my taste buds! And since this place was recommended to me, I have taken my husband a few times. He has very fickle tastes and each time he orders extra so he can have leftovers later. His idea of "dessert" is their Chicken Alfredo. We loved our entrees, very generous, as we ordered 1/2 size entrees so we could also try desserts, plus took a bit home. Orig this was a very popular food truck restaurant, so they know what they are doing to expand to this new space--everything was fresh, hot temperature, and delicious (my fav was the breaded chicken). What a cute little place! The neighborhood isn't the best, but the inside is roomy, clean, well-lit, and cozy. The food is fresh and comes out piping hot. We had the build your own pasta with meatballs and 1/2 marinara, 1/2 Alfredo. Delicious! The sauce was a perfect blend of savory and creamy. The meatballs were tender and tasty. The Lasagna was hearty and very good as well. Now for the best part...The service! I can't say enough about the family that runs this. SOOO FRIENDLY! They came to our apartment complex today, pleasant people, but both pastas smelled like chlorine awfully strong, we couldn't eat it, so $50 went into the trash can, never again. I am all for supporting small businesses, but c'mon u gotta pay attention, you r feeding people, not pigs. (The containers the food was packed into were ok, so it must be the pot it was cooked in as the smell was in the pasta itself). read more
