Besides marinara sauce, the calamari came with yummy surprises like fried banana peppers and a roasted jalapeño aioli. Though it took a while for our entrees to arrive, they were worth the wait. For my main, my perfectly cooked Scallops with green pea risotto, corn, and cherry tomatoes super satisfied. Stopped in for lunch after a day of disc golf. There was a party outside but plenty of seating inside. The staff was pleasant and inviting. We ordered drinks and then food. I had a cheesesteak with everything. It was awesome but the extremely hot, made to order. The temperature was the only downside because I burnt my mouth. I loved the sandwich and the homemade chips. The three stars are only for the service... the food was great and warrants 5 stars.. but we made a reservation at 6:30 for 9 people and were seated outside on the patio. It wasn't too busy. It took about 10 minutes for them to even give us menus. We could tell they were understaffed so we didn't say anything. Took an additional 10 minutes to get us water pitchers. We eventually were able to order drinks, and then we had to flag the waitress down again to order appetizers. We ordered 4 appetizers at around 7 and they did not come out until 7:45. The appetizers were just a crostini, bruschetta, onion rings, and beet carpaccio. They all were very good. However we asked for utensils and did not receive them for 20 minutes even after asking. By this time we were very very hungry and couldn't even eat some of the appetizers because we didn't have utensils. A few of our entrees did not come out until 8:30 (two hours after we initially sat down). Three burgers and a salmon dish were given. Because we were so hungry, we started eating without waiting for the rest of our group, expecting that the rest of the entrees would come out right after. However the four people were pretty much halfway finished with eating their entrees before the rest of the entrees came out. The amount of time we had to wait is really such a shame because the food was actually really good and delicious. I got the bacon jam cheeseburger and i would definitely get it again. If it wasn't for the wait time, i would have definitely given this review 5 stars. We did speak to the manager and were understanding that they were understaffed (other tables were definitely being more rude), however we would have appreciated the heads up before we sat down that dinner might take awhile, because then we could have decided if we wanted to stay or not. read more

Went for dinner last night. Waitress was nice. Waited over an hour for our food and it was all sandwiches. Burgers were huge and delicious. Fish sandwich was two small cut pieces that were tiny did not come close to covering the base of the bun. ($16 sandwich) waitress was nice enough to get the kitchen to add a piece of fish. Before we ordered One of our diners asked the gentleman next to us what he was eating. He replied the buttered noodles from the kids menu. They are my favorite. So she being a senior citizen she ordered them. ( mind you we had a child at the table) wasn't as great as the recommendation but whatever. Until the 200 bill came out and they charge 17 for the noodles minus Alfredo sauce?? Add butter? So we question the waitress and she explained with attitude you can't order from the children's menu. So that's how we bill. ( wish I would have taken pictures ) the diner replied it would have been nice if you told me that as I ordered it indicating the children's menu noodles. She asked fior the manager. Up in til now two of us were very disappointed the other 4 loved there food even though pricey. Then the manager came and wow. What a nasty, mean person. I've been in the industry for over 30 years and never ever been spoken to or would ever speak to a customer that way. So out of the corner of my wife's eye, she spotted this small restaurant in Stroudsburg. Arriving hungry we placed the luncheon order of a Cuban sandwich and Tuna Panini along with ice teas. Because our waiter Jas was the only server and they had only one cook at the time, there was a delay in receiving our lunch order. However, the sandwiches and homemade chips were fantastic. We really enjoyed the food here, and I was looking forward to having a local PA beer, however our waitress didn't know what they had and because of the Covid deal, I was reluctant to go inside for a cooler lookie-see. Is it really possible that I have never reviewed Happy Hour?? This place has the best vibe, great love music, amazing food, unique drinks, and friendly service. They also have a spacious heated, enclosed porch for extra dining space. I love this restaurant more every time I go there. I think I have been there about 5 times this year. The chef must be a master because the food is so good. It's so much more than you would expect from a smallish bar/restaurant on a side street in a small town. The most recent thing I loved was the mussels in pumpkin ale broth. We had had something by the same name at another nearby restaurant the week before, but that one had too much beer, so it was too bitter. We were on the hiking trip in the Poconos mountain area for a long weekend in October. The restaurant is conveniently locating near the intersection of highway 80 and 611. It is a nice, clean and cozy place for dining. They do have a very nice outdoor seating on the deck and the side yard. The foods and drinks are very good. For lunch, we ordered crab cakes, crispy calamari, salad, fried pickles; the main courses included herb mushrooms & Swiss burger, classic Caesar salad with scallops, chicken pesto, roasted turkey club, etc. They were all excellent and very good services. Keep in mind only two ingredients needed for the drink that I requested. After explaining the recipe I was cut off and told "nope, I'm not doing it". Had to pay for my girlfriends wine and we didn't even stay for her to drink it. I literally paid to leave this place. Unacceptable customer service and service overall. 5 workers in the restaurant all eating and shooting the shit without a care in the world. Absolute joke. I've worked in the restaurant industry. My wife and I went there to eat and after waiting for 5 minutes at the door/outside eating area sign, a waiter came and said to sit where ever we liked. We sat near the wall and waited and waited . we were there for about 15 more minutes and another couple came in and sat at the next table. 5 minutes after that the waiter went and got 2 menus and approached the couple at the next table, he asked what they would like to drink and then left the room. We got up and left. I understand that establishments may be understaffed and busy but nothing explains this total lack of service. We have eaten there in the past and also with a group of 8 recently. I chose this for our dinner spot for the first time while vacationing in the area for two reasons; it was a 7 minute walk from our motel & the reviews were ALL stellar. & clearly well deserved! My bf got the lemon chicken pasta which was so perfectly seasoned & had just the right amount of lemon flavoring. Chefs kiss! Then I got the flank steak medium rare, cooked perfectly, which had a blue cheese cream sauce. That sauce was the nectar of the Gods, I tell you! I love blue cheese but even so, it was the best flavor. Our sides were great too & our beverages strong! Also our server, Cynthia, was on point! We never waited for a drink, we never had to ask twice for anything & she was so friendly & hard working. I would recommend everyone try this place!
