This is one of our goto place for Chinese food. I mean they know Hollys name and we have them on speed dial. Love the hot and sour soup, I could and would eat it during hot Arizona weathers. Usually order the fried rice and sesame chicken along with the soup. This establishment is family owed so they recognize you when you come in. The dinning area isn't as big but it's enough to probably sit 20 people. The service is prompt and usually have our order ready when we call it in. It's only 10mins from our place so we can't complain about the location. But it is by a tax service business. read more

You can't beat the price when you get to support a local small business and the portion sizes are great too. You can easily make their dinner combo into 2-3 meals due to the large portions. Yum! I received a flyer recently and gave it a try. Everything is reasonably priced and fortunately I live within their delivery boundaries. We've ordered in twice and so far have tried the egg drop soup, Kung pao shrimp and chicken, sweet and sour pork, crab puffs, steamed dumplings, egg rolls and pork egg rolls. Now these people know how to fry food. The crab puffs are so crispy and crunchy, you'll have chips flying in all directions on the first bite. I wasn't a fan of the pork egg rolls but eh, nbd. The combos are full of flavor and packed with food. I haven't actually tried the dumplings yet since my kid inhales them before I can even think to ask for a bite! We'll definitely be regulars considering the price, quality and quantity. read more

Messy inside and they take there sweet time with packaging the food! even if no one is waiting infront of you ! they still take there time like your time waiting for your food doesn't matter both times they drag there feet warming up your food assuming it's not fresh doesn't taste fresh. Wow, this place was awesome! Very small and no frills as far as the tables, decor, etc, but I really don't give a crap about that - I want good food and good service, and I got both! I have been going to this restaurant for years, when it was The House of Eggroll, and it was always the best, but on my last visit, I noticed something changed; maybe ownership? Part of the dining area was closed off and dedicated to storing restaurant supplies, and looked junky. Back in the day, it was a great place to eat, and it was especially appreciated by the surrounding Asian community, who in the past, I've witnessed dining there. My family ordered take out the other day and for the first time ever, we all got sick. We did notice that the food did not taste good, the orange chicken was especially dry and not pleasant to eat, and the fried wonton was stale, the hot & sour soup overly reduced. I'm not sure what's going on with the restaurant, but it certainly isn't what it used to be. read more

The food was decent. The Vegetable Fried Rice had lots of flavor and included bean sprouts. Their Spring (egg) Roll are crispy and hot. The roll is a little soft inside, but it was not too bad. The fried chicken balls used for the Orange or Lemon Chicken entree is the same, but with different sauces (I know). I say this because the sauces taste very similar, but the chicken was hot. They do a great take out, but the dining room is open. I will go again and next time I will try the Egg Foo Young. read more

Solid Chinese food. Was craving NY style basic spread bbq pork fried rice, general tso's, and crab puffs. Glad I went here. Flavor profile on the tso's had a little twist (five spice, i think?). Chicken deep fried perfectly, more of a sweet emphasis than vinegar, with some heat from some red chilis. The onions were pickled or something too. Very unique creative liberties by the chef. Cant remember the last time I had Chinese takeout where i scarfed it down so quickly. 100% will be back to try other items. read more

This restaurant spin under different ownerships a number of times don't last few years. The folks that are on it now in my opinion served extremely good Chinese food and always has good. Taste is cooked properly and the gentleman at the front is extremely helpful and polite. I would highly recommend happy Jayne to anyone. The best American Chinese food out of the 5 local places in my vicinity. Dumpligs were a bit cold but good pork flavor and the dipping sauce was matching. Tried Happy Jade for the the first time and was very happy! Tried the Orange chicken, General Tsao chicken, chicken chow mein, chicken w vegetables, beef w broccoli and the hot and sour soup. Everything was delicious! My only complaint would be that the chicken w vegetables didn't have water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, mushrooms or baby corn. I'm still searching for my place for "chicken w vegetables" that have these asian veggies! Maybe I'm ordering the wrong dish? Everything was very flavorful. So I was in the area near this restaurant over the weekend and was not happy with the way the food tasted it was a little bit too salty for me and the portions are small I'm a big guy. Whoever the guy that was working that day with glasses on in his mid 30s forgot to put Forks in our bag that's the most important thing when you're doing or getting takeout. The description indicates "Regular-Large entre w/ 1 side Combo-Small entre w/ Fried Rice, Spring Roll, and 2 Crab Puff". I thought - great! I put 1 of each in my cart and waited anxiously for the delivery. I'm not sure if part of it got lost, the delivery guy had a snack or I just didn't understand the process. When we opened the hot and fresh containers, the only thing in them was the chicken and the beef. No rice, no roll, no puff :( This could have been the new "go to" I was disappointed. read more

The restaurant smelled delicious! Second after walking in we were told "sorry no dogs allowed". When I kindly explained it was a fully documented service dog I was told it didn't matter. Their rating with the health department was more important. They let us sit, but he kept explaining to me that I was going to be the reason they fail a health inspection "but it's okay go ahead and you can have lunch here" . Needless to say I felt uncomfortable enough to want to leave.
