Came back with my daughter to try this place again. The manager was there and gave me a free Thai iced tea because the last time I was there I didn't like it. I will say that they will make you drink to your liking! So I got my tea 50/50 sweet. And it was good my daughter tried the match drink it was good. The manager recommended a strawberry and lemonade drink-from their secret menu! For my little granddaughter and that was delicious we'll definitely be back! I got the classic milk tea with puff cream added, and a matcha bubble waffle. The employees were kind enough to let me try the puff cream and the salted chocolate cream in separate containers (probably because there wasn't anyone else when I arrived-- though it didn't stay empty for long. It was very quick service actually for me and the other customers who came in). Good chew for the boba and good sweetness. Really can't go wrong with the classic milk tea. The matcha bubble waffle was amazing --nice and crisp on the outside, soft and warm middle, and great matcha flavor. Thanks for opening up a Happy Lemon location in San Ramon, so when I'm in the area I can now stop by and get Happy Lemon drinks. This store is located in a big plaza where you can find other stores and restaurants. This plaza has a huge parking lot so parking should be fairly easy. I did visit this location on a Friday afternoon so it wasn't super duper crowded - not sure if that would change on a weekend. The new boba shop was clean and had a clear, legible, unmistakable sign of Happy Lemon making it easy to spot. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendly staff. The staff at the cashier was so patient with us talking time to make our choices and place our order, and also especially with my mom's unfamiliarity with paying with her card, speaking of which, this place accepted cash and Visa only - not MasterCard. Once we ordered, our drinks were prepared pretty swiftly - we waited I would say no longer than 5 minutes. We ordered two large-sized D1 Boba Milk Tea and they were delicious. I know they are famous for their salted cheese cream, but man, let me tell you that they also make good milk tea that is super enjoyable even without their famous cheese cream. Their boba was pretty spot on too - perfectly sweetened and slightly chewy. I finished my drink within 10 mins after I got it, it didn't make it outside the plaza :) I would definitely go back to this Happy Lemon location. read more

Came here Sunday 3/13 at 4:40PM. My fiancé and our friend went it to order 4 drinks. I was waiting in the car and realized that I've been waiting for awhile when it was getting warm in the car. After 30 whole minutes, I decided to go in and check on the two of them and ask if everything was alright. There were two people working on the counter and there was one worker in the back. My fiancé told me that they got one of the orders wrong and two out of the four drinks weren't even ready yet. Turns out drink 3/4 has been ready and sitting on the counter, and the 4th drink hasn't been made. My fiancé said there was only one order ahead of them, but they weren't busy at all.
