Wonderful service as always! During my most recent visit, we ordered our drinks and honestly I think they were done within 2 minutes, it was so fast. They have always been fast here, at least what I have experienced, but this was definitely the record. Our drinks tasted amazing too! I had the strawberry matcha latte with soy milk and my friend had the strawberry lemonade. I loved both but the strawberry matcha was perfect. I did get it at 50% sugar, and it was still very sweet. I would go as low as 25% next time because the sugar with the strawberries did overpower the matcha, but again still delicious. We were definitely happier after trying Happy Lemon. The line was pretty long on a Sunday afternoon but glad we waited. We tried the lemon yokult green tea and the Mango green tea. We reduced the sweetness to 75% and glad that we did. It was perfect with less sweetness. The drinks did take a few minutes. Went to check out Happy Lemon's Oolong series BOGO that I saw on an Instagram ad. I was not expecting much since it was Happy Lemon. Got the Strawberry Oolong Milk Tea and Passionfruit Lemon Oolong Tea. I preferred the Strawberry Oolong Milk Tea because it was sweeter compared to the extremely tart Passionfruit. Overall, the flavors didn't stand out and the tea was nowhere to be tasted as the sweetness was too much despite getting less sugar. But who can complain! The price for BOGO was worth the drink I got. Since we went to the UTC HL, the service was really quick and we could just order and leave pretty fast. read more

I ingest a lot of Boba drinks so it's pretty hard to get 5 stars from me for Boba. Happy Lemon has managed to do so based solely on the quality of ingredients and the taste of the final product. The boba balls are literally the best I've tasted in probably a few years. The balls are the perfect amount of chew and texture without any slime or gooeyness that other boba places sometimes have. These boba balls also have a bit of burnt brown sugar taste to them (think crème brûlée sugar crust burnt, not nasty burnt). The sugar content was just the right amount and they blended the ube smoothie to a nice even consistency. The staff took our orders quickly and the drink took about 3-5 minutes to be completed- so not too bad of a wait. This location is just a little kiosk/box in the middle of the walk way so it doesn't have any inside seating. It was a beautiful sunny day and we we went to UTC for some lunch, afterwards, we decided to go for a stroll. Looking for a drink of some sort, we found Happy Lemon. It's one of those small floating kiosks, not an actual storefront. We came from the back side and it didn't look open, but when we went around to the front, there was a line waiting to order. Can't really see the menu until you get to the front of the line. As we waited, the line grew even more. We ordered a large Oreo smoothie, 100% ice and 25% sweetness. You can get the exact same drink as a milk tea, the smoothie is just the blended version. The drink cost just about $7. Price range $6 to $8, depending on size and add on toppings. MENU HIGHLIGHTS: Fresh Squeezed Lemonade with or without Green Tea, Kumquat Lemon Jasmine Tea, and Strawberry Lemonade. Milk Teas with or without Boba, Brown Sugar, Matcha Latte, Oreo Cookies or Wintermelon. Salted Tea is something I have not worked myself up to try. The choices are Black or Green Tea, Strawberry ... all with Salted Cheese topping. Smoothies are also popular, I saw Avocado, Mango, and Strawberry Shortcake. It's hard to write a bad review for local businesses, but customer service can really make or break a business. This review is based on my uber eats order experience (which can be used as a training opportunity). I placed an uber eats order for (2) drinks approximately around 4:45-4:50pm (Wednesday 7/16/25). I get the notification on the app at 5:00pm that my order is likely ready, go to the front counter to show my order details to an employee, and all they say is "the tablet has being very weird. We just got the order right now. We'll make it now--just give us about 4 minutes." I wait another 10 minutes and realize that everyone else who ordered after me got their drinks... I go up to the front window, the employee at the registers was asking everyone else if there was an uber eats order with my name on it. The original employee who helped me when I got there again says "the tablet has been acting weird. We'll make it right now." There was no accountability, no initiative on trying to fix the tablet, just a lack of customer service. How are other online orders being processed if the tablet is not working properly?! After this, I sit back down and wait another 5 minutes. My drinks are still not done. I had to go up to the counter another time, wait a minute, and then I FINALLY received my order at 5:21pm almost 40 minutes after I placed this online beforehand. This was one of my worst experiences with Happy Lemon and I hope that the customer experience can be prioritized with the proper training. read more

First time hearing about Happy Lemon. We were on our way to Wushiland, but my brother and my nephew wanted Happy Lemon instead so here we are. It's a standalone shop in the middle of the Westfield University Town Center (UTC). Their specialty is different kinds of drinks such as the classic tea, salted cheese, lemon, smoothie, and fruit tea series. I don't recall seeing anything else, but drinks and toppings. My brother got Freshly Squeezed Lemon Honey. My nephew got Macha Latte with salted cheesefoam. I got Milk Tea with salted cheesefoam plus taro balls. I was very pleased with my drink for it being my first time trying it. Very light and tasty... not too sweet... taro balls was the best part... so soft and chewy! Staff was pleasantly nice. Service was okay... they were very busy though. Prices were decent. Atmosphere was comfortable with tables and chairs outside for customers to sit and enjoy their drinks. I remember when the first happy lemon opened in my hometown when I was in high school. Lines were crazy and the hype was real! I'll always look fondly upon the silly lemon mascot as a reminder of THE high school senior year meetup spot. Trying cheese foam for the first time, sharing cake from the spot next door with my friends, this is a nostalgic chain for me! That being said, the tea I've had here in recent years is just ok. This particular happy lemon is a small kiosk in UTC mall. It doesn't usually get a ton of traffic (being lowkey overshadowed by wushiland or bengong) but it's central location provides a steady stream of customers. The shop is only big enough for 2-3 employees, so service does get a bit slow and a line can build up. I've tried the mango matcha and strawberry cheese foam tea from this location. I think in both cases, the respective fruit purées and creamy components were excellent, with the tea falling a bit short. The drinks are on the sweet side, even when I ask for reduced sugar, and the tea flavor is very weak. In particular the mango matcha tasted more like mango ice cream, without matcha taste. Prices are steep but in line with other boba places these days. There is plenty of outdoor seating as the area has plenty of tables and chairs. Overall I think the drinks I've tried at Happy Lemon are tasty if you just think of them as creamy fruit drinks, but they don't provide the tea kick that I need to really bring it to the next level. read more

This is probably the second time I do not have a good milk tea experience at UTC. I decided to give this place a shot again since I happen to be at the mall. My drink was not bad and the time it took for the drink to come out was reasonable but the people working there were just ok. Both employees seem annoyed that they have to speak to customers. Compared to their actual store on Convoy, this little stand has a more limited menu (certain sizes and options are not offered). We were craving boba while waiting for our reservation time and stumbled across this little stand in the Westfield UTC shopping center. It's absolutely adorable, and the staff are friendly and helpful here. The drinks here are great. We got the Milk Tea with Oreo & Puff Cream and added in boba. Perfect amount of sweet and had the perfect Oreo flavor. Would hands down order it again. This is just a little stand at the shopping center, but there are plenty of places around the area to sit down if you'd like. The drinks are also perfect for walking around with.
