Their shop has a nice modern looking vibe and the service is always friendly !! My fav is their Earl Grey Milk Tea (Very floral). Their just-launched Taro series was really good too - the taro paste is not artificially colored which is a win !! Also dig all their toppings (Jellies are my fav; They now have a new QQube topping too). The only series that I feel is a bit of a letdown is their matcha series that launched few months ago - Especially since there are lots of incredible high-quality matcha options (including pop-ups) in the city and Wushiland does not do justice. I go to other locations all the time and get the same thing: Four seasons tea with 100% sugar, light ice, and boba. It is a very simple drink with just the boba and pouring the tea from the tea urn. Upon entering, there was one person in front of us ordering but she took some time. We only saw two workers; one preparing the drinks and the other doing dishes. There is a vent right above the line and made it cold for me standing there. Also later on while waiting for my drink there was another vent right above and again I had to step out of the way. We finally ordered and waited in front of the counter so we were watching them work. We saw what seemed to be our drink and noticed that the tea urn ran out halfway filling up the cup... we assumed he was going to get more in the back as he disappeared. He came back around to the front counter holding around 15 drinks in his hands. He mass produced them in the back just to bring them out all at once which I think is unfair to those who have to wait just for their number to be called when their drink is already done. He sat down the drinks and started sorting them out based on the number and was calling them. Us with one drink finally got called and I just grabbed it and grabbed my own straw and left right away because that itself made me mad. My drink takes at max 3 minutes to make and it took much more than that. The drink was horrible. For getting something 100% sweet, that drink tasted like water with a hint of sugar; the sweetness it had in it was basically from the boba syrup. From watching the tea urn run out and him walking to the back and coming back with a suddenly full drink makes us assume he put water in it to fill it up since adding more ice wouldn't make it light ice anymore which is easily noticeable. Kearny Mesa makes the drinks a lot faster and a lot better. For being at a fancy mall, this location does not do the company justice. read more

The drinks come out very fast as well and I love that they give you a ton of toppings. The sweetness level adjustment was perfect. I know some places when you adjust the sweetness level, it can completely be off. The store is small and there's no seating area, but there's plenty of seats available outside/near the store. Not a big deal for us since we usually grab the drink and walk elsewhere anyways. I really loved the green tea latte and the brown sugar drink my husband ordered. We've been to this mall a dozen times. This time we were shopping next to a familiar Wushiland. Knowing their drink offerings and in the mood for some chewiness I ordered on the app. The shop is pretty tight and has a self serve kiosk ordering system. They really need to implement an efficient pick up. Inside was packed, drinks were sitting for a long while and not being picked up. So guests were waiting for an extended time even though their drinks were ready. I've seen other locations have a wall mounted screen with order numbers/names posted when ready. An easy fix for questions & confusion. Especially in this area they should have updated technology. The front staff could've had a better handle on things but maybe needing some guidance from management. Always room for improvement but A for effort because she was very calm & kind throughout the commotion. App needs some adjustments. I ordered on the app and wasn't given an order number. On the app it stated 'pending order' till an hour later after leaving it stated my drinks were ready for pick up. Apart from that my drinks were good just a little room temp instead of cold cuz it had been sitting for a bit. One of the best boba tea shops I've been to. It's a tiny little stop in UTC, you order on a tablet to customize your drink but there is staff as well if you need assistance. For reference, at the time we went it was card only. Whenever trying a new boba place get a brown sugar milk tea, if they do it well chances are everything else is great. Drinks come out super quick so it's great for anyone on the go. It was a long journey to get to this Wushiland Boba, but we made it. Of course by the time we got here, everyone else already had gotten a drink from other boba spots like Happy Lemon and BenGong Tea. That's okay. I came here to get at least one boba drink and that's what I did. My niece hadn't gotten a drink yet so she and I both ordered. I got my usual... Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with ice cream, mini pearls, grass jelly, and lychee jelly at 100% sweetness and no ice. My niece got the Original Milk Tea with brown sugar and boba at 70% sweetness. Wow... I wasn't expecting my drink to be so sweet... yes, I asked for 100% sweetness, but all other Wushiland aren't that sweet even at 100%. I thought they all abide to the same recipe. Maybe whoever made my drink was sugar happy and squirted a couple more squirts of syrup. That's okay I still drank it. Unfortunately, I didn't drink it until later so I couldn't take it back to have it remade. Lesson learned. Hope my niece enjoyed her drink... she was smart... she asked for 70% sweetness. =) Staff was nice. Speed of service could have been better, but they were busy at the time. Inside space was a little tight IMHO... it's a lot smaller than most Wushilands that I've been to.
