I ordered my drink a little too sweet (75%), and they remade it for me less sweet. If I came back here again I'd go for 50%. If you have similar taste to mine or like less sweet in general, that's what I'd recommend for this location. I think 25% is a bit too watered down for me, but my boyfriend liked it more. I really like the osmanthus soft jelly topping. They were really nice about it too. Usually I would never ask but I felt at ease enough to do so. After making some purchases at Clover bakery, I spotted Teaspoon tea shop. I was craving a nice cold refreshing tea. I stopped in to make a purchase to drink on my way home. When I walked in, the young man behind the counter welcomed me. I decided to try the guava sunset fruit tea. I've not had this one before and it sounded delicious. I usually get the peach tea from Teaspoon. It was nice and clean inside with seating options. I was the only customer at that moment. I placed my order at the kiosk and took a few pictures of the inside, while I was waiting. My drink was made so fast. I couldn't believe it. I gave it a try and boy did I make the right choice. They charge more for the same exact drink that I ordered every day for over a year at the Almaden location. Only once when I ask them to make the drink the way I like it did they honor it. I ordered my drinks on the kiosk (which takes much too long, it would be better to talk to an employee to keep the line moving but that's not why I'm here). When attempting to order my drink, one of the ingredients was out but it wasn't clear so I had to select "no honey boba" and then went up to the counter to ask. While I was asking my question, the employee literally turned away from me to help another customer. I was appalled. She made eye contact and everything and made no attempt to tell me "just a second" which would have been fine. She literally turned away as though I were an annoying fly. When she came back a few seconds later I just stared for a few seconds because I've never experienced such rudeness. I asked about the missing honey boba and she told me they were out so I asked for a different boba to replace. She said yes but as I'm drinking my drink, I cannot tell that it's there. So I'm pretty sure she dumped it out after putting it in. This is unacceptable customer service and I will never visit this location again. Maybe not to any location either. At least the drinks were made quickly and my son's drink had no issues. My favorite boba place is across town and I'll plan to continue going there instead of Teaspoon. Ah, every block you go you can find a Teaspoon. I guess it's like a boba version of Starbucks. While I was waiting for my baked goods at Clover Bakery a few shops down I decided to get boba. It was still a few minutes before opening and the worker was finishing up setting up and unlocked the door with a warm welcome. I placed my order at the kiosk at the entrance and he quickly made my drinks. Not all Teaspoons have this kiosk ordering system so it was nice to be able to order and pay at the kiosk. I ordered via the app, and waited in store about 10 minutes before my promised time. What I noticed was that a lot of people who had walk in orders got their drink before me. Terrible for group orders, and we're avoiding Teaspoon moving forward. We ordered over 30 drinks this afternoon, and four were completely missing. Of the drinks delivered, they were a mess. Most did not have any indication of what drink it was or the person who ordered, making distribution a complete mess. Not only did the drinks not look like the picture, but how can you tell sweetness level just by looking at a drink?! There was also feedback that the drinks did not taste as good as other places we order from regularly. I understand that you may not be staffed up to handle an order this large. If that's the case, don't accept orders of this size. You just end up getting a bad reputation. None of us ever plan on ordering from or coming here.
