    Caramel swirl and mango
    Shruti Y.

First time at teaspoon. The space is small but clean, parking was busy but found a spot in no time, service was super quick! I got the caramel swirl - honestly did not like it at all. It just tasted sweet. That's it. The mango boba was better. Although it did not look like mango, there definitely was mango flavor.

Teaspoon Saratoga located in the Strawberry Park Plaza. The lot can get hectic during peak times. The interior has limited seating and the decor is simple. Ordering done via kiosk. They offer other baked goods too. Lychee on Lychee: Lychee black tea topped w/ lychee jelly (4/5).

Brown Black Sugar Assam & matcha banana royale
    Hieu L.

I tried a new seasonal drink: the matcha banana royale and brown sugar boba. Anything banana is the new rage so I was excited to see how this compared to other places. They used fresh banana , banana cream, and matcha (I wished it had a deeper and stronger flavor here). Boba texture was soft and chewy and not hard. I do like that they have an option for no ice here which most boba places don't do. This is located in a small parking lot that could get quite congested. Their drinks are on the more sweeter side so I always go 50% or less.

Awesome Boba Spot in Mitsuwa Marketplace! I had such a great experience at this boba place, while I missed trying the seasonal sesame drink this time, I'll definitely be visiting another location to give it a shot. As always, I had to start with an ube drink--my favorite--and their Dirty Ube did not disappoint! It was delicious, though I'd personally prefer it with even less sweetness. I paired it with taro chunks/pudding on the side, which was a fantastic addition. I also appreciated their kindness when I asked for the topping on the side, they were so accommodating about it! The atmosphere was great, with plenty of seating available and friendly, smiling staff. The space was well-lit in the evening, and the festive holiday decor added a cheerful touch to the vibe. There's a ton of parking, though it was pretty full on a Sunday evening. Service was impressively quick, and the tables were clean. Plus, the marketplace itself has some cute stores worth checking out. Can't wait to try the sesame seasonal drink next time--will report back on how it is! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

    Black Sugar Assam Silky Mango
    Hnin T.

Stopped by teaspoon for a late night drink and it's convenient because it closes at 11 pm. It was reasonable priced and the service was fast. The ambiance was good and there were tables to sit inside. The drinks were good. The black sugar assam tasted a little sour it maybe because we came around closing time. The silky mango was delicious.

i come to this teaspoon often! it's a great place to work/study and have a drink. the location is in a good spot, lots of little eats near by but parking in this plaza is actual hell lol def prefer coming on weekdays so there isn't so much parking traffic from mitsuwa. their drinks are consistent with every other teaspoon -- my favs are the liquid gold and vietnamese coffee, and the grasshopper in the summer (super refreshing!). the interior is fine, drinks always come out in a timely manner and the baristas are kind and friendly!

    Starlight Sesame
    Alice H.

I tried the Starlight Sesame, a roasted Hojicha latte with Crème Brulée foam and black sesame dust, and was disappointed. The sesame flavor was barely noticeable. I'll stick to their milk tea next time.

Located in the Strawberry Park mall. It's off to the side of Mitsuwa. Order from kiosk. Service was quick. I had the Strawberry sangria which tastes really good and not overly sweet. Place was clean.

My drink was 90% ice. I took about 5 sips and it's already half way done. Please do better this is unacceptable considering the price we are paying.

    Matcha Royale & Strawberry Colada
    Mimi P.

There are a variety of drinks here that have been good so far! The parking can be a bit tricky if it's a busy weekend or time. The drinks came out fast and there were a few tables inside to sit. I got the Matcha Royale and Strawberry Colada. The matcha was delicious and the strawberry colada was sweet and citrusy!

Here's my experience at the Santa Clara location: The line to order coffee went awfully fast, and honestly, that threw me by surprise. The staff were really helpful in giving the suggestions of what drinks had sweet and aromatic, or earthy and healing. They also had quite a wide variety of pastries as well -- which, for a coffee shop, is impressive considering how they source their pastries locally as well. The only downside would actually have to be the surrounding environment, and not the coffee shop itself: if you're finding parking around Voyager, embrace yourselves for lack of parking around that particular area. If you have to absolutely do that, then do so with caution.

There is a kiosk for ordering, as well as paper menus on display for you to look at, topped off with what appears to be a photobooth on the side that you can take pictures inside of for fun. I decided to get the Lavendula Latte, which the barista delivered to my table. I had forgotten to adjust the sweetness (though thinking now I can't remember if there was an option for that) but the drink had a nice balance of sweetness. Only complaint I have is that the menus lacks photos (not sure if it's lag or if there genuinely are no photos), but I'd say that the drink looks okay. You also have to use McDonalds wifi if you want to do work here, but the wifi's free and seems to be working fine so I'm not sure if that's really a negative. It wasn't crazy busy so it was easy to order through one of their two tablets and find a spot to sit. It is very spacious and filled with many tables, so even when busy you'll likely be able to find a spot. The menu is a bit messy to look at--there is a big menu hanging over the kiosks, another posted alongside where a line is formed, then the menu on the tablet kiosks themselves. It's a pretty big menu featuring primarily coffee-based drinks, matcha lattes, and a wide variety of food, so you'll likely find something appealing. I ordered their smoked salmon bagel (which rang up to about $16) and their matcha latte ($8); to be honest, neither were outstanding. The salmon and avocado in the bagel were great, but the bagel itself was a bit stale--for $16, it's a bit hard to swallow. The matcha was very milky, and there is another store offering better matcha drinks in the same plaza. I'll admit, though, it's a little on me for not picking coffee at a spot with "coffee" in the name. I will say, though, that the atmosphere in the main area is pretty good; the decor is understated but comfortable, and the lighting is good. The service is also solid--the servers are friendly and our order came out quickly. I will say that the bathroom feels ominous. Overall, it's a great spot to study; Big Mug is open late, has free Wi-Fi and a bathroom for customers, and offers both food and caffeinated drinks for longer study sessions. I feel that the prices vary widely for items but skew towards being too pricy for the quality, at least from my limited experience. I plan on coming back to give other items a try, but for now, it's not a favorite.
