I also love that they have a customer favorites menu for people who can't decide what to order. When I went in, the girl asked if I wanted any toppings, and I declined because I didn't want to pay extra. Later, I noticed that honey boba was free on the menu, so I asked her to add it. I wish she had mentioned it earlier when I was ordering, like, "The honey boba is included, would you like it?" and explain that additional toppings comes with an extra charge. This tea shop focuses more on the flavor combinations than tea, for example they have toasted marshmallow tea, I haven't seen that flavor profile in a classic tea shop before. They use torani syrups for their syrups. Parking is easy because it is a shared lot with pop eyes and Trader Joe's. They do have plenty of seats inside. I haven't had Tpumps in years and this location is the closest to my office. It was hard to find at first. I had to make a uturn to enter the plaza. The store is located at a small but busy plaza. The plaza has Popeyes and Trader Joe's. Parking can be tight and getting out, slightly chaotic, at least during my visit. The store was clean and larger than Cupertino location when it was open. I went on Pumbo Tuesday and I expected a line but it wasn't that busy. Ordering can be overwhelming as they offer a lot of options as well as a long list of customer favorites. I got a black tea Pumbo with guava, strawberry and lychee light sweet. It was a refreshing drink and not too sweet. It wasn't thick with syrup either. I wish they had regular straws as I finished my drink faster with their boba straw. I didn't get boba with my drink either. The wait for my drink was less than five minutes also. read more

It's not authentic and it's usually quite sweet from all the flavored syrups but as long as you know what you're getting yourself into, it's a pretty good option. They will make mistakes, just catch it before you leave! Parking gets crazy enough with TJ's and Popeye's in this spot. =The full menu is *overwhelming*, so take a preview before you go. When I looked at the menu, I noticed that it's pretty much build your own drink, with $5 for regular and $6 for large (more like mega large - bigger than usual large size)! I like how you can combine multiple flavors for the tea, and choose whether to add milk or not. You can also add honey boba for free, but other toppings for an extra cost. Line outside around the corner type store! Family went to Trader Joe's nearby and saw a large line. Of course we had to try it too! The staff are super friendly. My go-to is black tea with hazelnut, cookie dough, and almond! The flavors blend nicely with the black tea, though it can be on the sweeter side. The boba also adds a nice pop to the tea itself as it is not too overtly sweet and has a good texture to it. You can choose from any of the flavors they have listed on the menu, and mix up to 3! Some require paying extra, as well as certain topping options, tea options, and milk options. Their prices are also super reasonable, with the Pumpbo being $5 on Tuesdays. However, with all the other options for boba in the Bay Area, and especially Cupertino, there isn't anything too special about them! When it boils down to it, it is just tea + syrups. This place definitely caters to a specific taste: SWEET. They have a variety of flavors that is difficult to find elsewhere; however, with each flavor pump is another pump of sugar, which is very addictive. I used to like this place until I found out that their default "milk" is powdered Coffee mate, which is a concoction of oil, sugar, and thickeners, and is so bad for your teeth! You can avoid the Coffee mate if you substitute your milk, but that will cost you. I like that they have a no-caf tea option but hate that they charge for that as well. The long lines would wrap around on Tuesdays and this was at the old location too so when I found out about the new location I was psyched because it was huuge and I could come here during gaps (however I felt that the other location made our drinks better). Pros: I like how the pearls are included in the price and it's very affordable compared to other shops which could be up to $7 a cup!!! crazy. They also have the $2 pre made teas/milk teas as well (+ unsweetened black/green tea) Cons: Drinks can get too sweet whenever I get the Tpumps size but when I get Pumpbo, I think the proportions are better and just like the old location. Tpumps however is also a bit far from me since I don't live in that area or go to school near there anymore. I remember going to the new location during the grand opening week and the owner actually approached us asking if our drink was okay as well as the boba, and at that time the boba actually was tough and wasn't cooked all the way. He let us know that the baristas are still training which is totally fine, he also offered us 2 free teas from the fridge after which was so nice!
