I stopped by this café to grab a coffee and get some work done. It's a very spacious place with lots of plants, which gives it a nice, relaxing vibe. I ordered a latte and a chocolate croissant. The latte was great, although I was a little disappointed that they don't offer "for here" cups. The chocolate croissant, unfortunately, didn't taste very fresh and was a bit underwhelming. The highlight of my visit was the staff. She noticed I was working on my laptop and proactively offered me the Wi-Fi password before I even had a chance to ask, which I thought was a really thoughtful touch. Little gestures like that definitely make a difference.

Cute little cafe! They have unique offerings that actually deliver on flavor. Their Birds & the Bees latte had the perfect amount of sweetness and a lovely lavender flavor. They have free WiFi making it a great spot to get work done. It would be nice if the tables were a little cleaner otherwise it's a solid choice.

Such a cute shop with unique selection!! I ordered Grandmas Bag & loved it. It was sweet & the oat milk went nicely with it. My friend ordered the Strawberry Glaze which is basically an Erewhon Hailey Bieber Dupe. Doesn't compare to the original but it's a solid strawberry smoothie! I would definitely go back if I was in the area :)

Cute little coffee shop nestled in The Loop. Tiny spot, so it was hard finding places to sit. Thankfully some people left and we sat in the cozy chairs at the front. Service was OK, the woman running the cash register seemed frazzled and the barista (who may have been the owner..?) was very rude to her when she asked questions. I felt bad for her. Pastries were tasty, not much variety though. The coffee was delish, but if you get a sweetened latte make sure to get it half sweet if you don't like superrrrrr sweet coffee. Overall, I'd go back!

i stopped by because i saw that they sold a latte in a honey bear bottle and i knew i needed to have it!! i went in thinking the drink would just be alright but no it was actually so delicious & not overly sweet!! the service was very average, there is some inside seating and noticed people were working from there so it seemed like a great working cafe vs one to meet up with a friend because it was really quiet inside. the vibes inside were super cute! was definitely pricey for a latte so may not get that again regularly but would definitely be back

There is street parking but the location isn't well marked. It is connected to another building. You order on an iPad and then the drinks are called at as they are completed. It has a chill vibe with cozy seating areas with low key music. It isn't a huge spot so seating may be limited. I got Grandma's bag - I thought it was okay but I wouldn't order it again.

First meal I had in Chicago! I came in with friends on a Friday morning to grab some breakfast. The place was busy and there appeared to only be one person working so there was also a bit of a wait. We ordered three drinks and a breakfast sandwich to share. To our surprise, not only was there a charge for alternative milk, but there was also a charge to have the drink iced. It made a drink cost nearly $10. Fortunately enough, the drinks tasted really good. I ordered the Grandma's Bag (butterscotch latte) and the flavor was on point. Not too milky nor too strong for a latte either. The breakfast sandwich was decent, nothing special in my opinion. Overall, the tasty drinks with a price tag are worth a try!

Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

I was honestly too hungry to spend much time deciding, so I just ordered one of the sourdough donut ball. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The outside had a light coating of sugar that gave it just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. Once I bit into it, the inside was soft, airy, and slightly chewy from the sourdough, which made it different from a regular donut. There was a subtle tang from the sourdough that balanced the sweetness really well, so it never felt overly sugary. It had a light crispness on the outside, then a warm, pillowy center that practically melted away with each bite. I finished it way faster than I expected. The only thing I forgot was ordering something to drink with it. Looking back, a good coffee would've made it even better. Still, I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

Our family and extended family often ordered birthday cakes from them, and their mango cake was our favorite. When mangoes were in season, they used plenty of fresh mango in the cakes. Their cakes are always fresh, light, fluffy, and not too sweet. My daughter and I also love their individual cakes, especially the Black Pearl and Walnut Cake. Their pineapple buns and egg tarts are her favorites as well. Saint Anna has also been part of our daughter's childhood. When she was little, my husband used to bring her here before or after Chinese school in Chinatown on Sundays. Her go-to breakfast items were the Butter Bun, Ham and Macaroni in Soup, and Diced Ham and Corn in Cream Rice. As she got older, Curry Chicken with Potato became her favorite. She especially loved the potato cubes soaked in the delicious, mild curry sauce. She would always ask for more potatoes and less chicken, haha! Saint Anna is a family-run business, and Sara and Irene, the daughters-in-law, used to take care of the front of house. They were always so friendly and accommodating. After a 6-year hiatus, we finally returned one Friday recently when we happened to be in the area with a friend. Sara is now a co-owner, and it was wonderful to see her again. She immediately recognized us and was so warm and welcoming. She even asked me to relay her greetings to my sisters when she greeted us and again when we were leaving.
