Their sipping chocolate flight is amazing, but I'm also in love with their savory items like the kale salad. The irving park location is also very spacious and perfect for anyone studying or trying to get some work done. Service is friendly and they went above and beyond helping me pick up the perfect box of chocolates.

Everything is covered in soft velour and velvet and it's just beautiful! There's a great mural on the wall with different cute sayings painted on the leaves. I'll be sharing pictures of those so make sure you take a look! It's a little pricey for your average person but the quality of the chocolate which is from France and Germany makes it worth it! Their coffees come with a lot of options, some with very unique flavor combinations. I tried the rosemary caramel iced latte and I loved it! Which I was surprised by because I'm not usually a rosemary fan. They have a great variety of homemade marshmallows which I will also show you in the pictures, I can't resist a good marshmallow! So I had to try the brown butter marshmallows to bring home with me and oh my goodness! But the real winner for me was Homemade caramels! I would go back just for those! Especially the bacon one ! If you go there and try absolutely nothing else , get yourself a couple of those. you can thank me later ! The staff is super friendly and helpful! I also love that you can see back into the Candy Kitchen! So you know that all the Truffles and caramels and everything is prepared in-house and are super fresh and extra delicious! If you're ever near one of their many locations I encourage you to stop in! The coffee price point is actually very affordable, the truffle and marshmallow prices are truthfully probably comparable with like Godiva or Fannie May but they are made with much higher quality ingredients. Not someplace I would visit everyday, but definitely great for a special occasion! This would be a great business to visit for some sweet holiday treats! They have multiple shops! Located right off the Kimball ramp of the Kennedy Expressway, and just one block south of the Home Depot at Kimball and Addison. The prices are fantastic. The employees are just the kind of people who should be working in a candy store-very sweet. They have chocolate covered everything here: nuts, berries, pretzels, plus those yogurt-covered candies, bags of whole nuts (cashews at $5.99 a lb.), chocolate and yogurt coated caramel and nut patties, and lot's of very reasonably priced holiday and gift packaged items. Many are between $5-10.00. (Great picks for those folks you don't really like but for some reason you need to give them a gift.) Or stocking stuffers. I acted as my own parent here and said: "OK, now you can buy one thing here, just ONE!" I ended up with a nice large bag of something I know I will eat in one day once I start on them: Chocolate-coated sponge candy. An 11 ounce bag for $5.14! Such a deal. If I'm a good boy this week, perhaps my inner parent will let me go back for more goodies!

Whoops…read more The actual store really isn't that big, but I still spent a ton of time browsing (and drooling over) all the wonderful candy. Chocolate, nuts, gift boxes, bulk orders--whatever you want, they've got it. I left with half a pound each of milk chocolate malt balls and strawberry yogurt covered raisins. Also, when you buy from the bulk bins, the very-sweet candy lady gives you a handful of candy to sample. You know, to juice up for your run. Duh.

Along with seeing what is offered in comparison to other grocery stores I shop at regularly, I…read morevisited Tony's Fresh Market because Upside, a cash back application offered a 12% cash back offer on grocery purchases. This Tony's Fresh Market location just happened to be one of the nearest to my neighborhood located on the west-side of Chicago. As for this visit, I had no issues whatsoever finding a parking spot for my vehicle. I have to admit, at first, I did not think I would find a spot until I drove to the backside of Tony's where I found a number of open spots available. Inside, the atmosphere felt very relaxed at this Tony's with a neighborhood grocery store vibe. Other than that, I must say that it was a break shopping here versus a Jewel-Osco, Pete's Fresh Market, or Mariano's. Now along with the items shelved being organized, the market is acceptably clean, and the aisles have plenty of maneuvering space in-between. I particularly searched for breakfast foods in hopes that I could find something on the lines of a box of Jimmy Dean - Croissant Egg & Cheese, but I could not. The items I took a liking to and ended up purchasing were a box of Gardein Ultimate Plant-Based Be'f & Broccoli, Lean Cuisine Cheese Ravioli, Ore-Ida Tater Tots, and a box of Frosted Grape Pop Tarts which I had never encountered before, ever! The Ore-Ida Tater Tots were a must purchase for me because as of late, I have been addicted to cooking tater tots in my air fryer as a late evening snack! I know, I know it is so bad eating tater tots late in the evening, but gosh, they are so darn good! For the most part, I enjoyed shopping at Tony's Fresh Market, but I just cannot see myself shopping here regularly due to it being out of my way. Return visits for me depend on whatever cash back offers Upside puts out involving grocery purchases. For my readers, I will leave you with this joke since I likely lost half of you with my review. How do you make a recipe pop with ginger? "Play "Spice Girls" songs while you cook!" Hahaha, get it? ~Live life daily. ~ Thomas G

I consistently experience mushy fruits and avocado that is going bad internally. I don't think they practice good storage technique. The prices are also higher than before the change in ownership and the competition. For example they sell regular and organic bananas for 79 cents and 99 cents a pound. Whole Foods sells for 69 cents and 89 cents. I'll go to Tony's in a pinch if I desperately need something because it is walking distance but usually prefer to drive elsewhere where I get better quality for the same or slightly better price.
