Tried this place again with new owners. Two times in a row over the past month, my powder manicure was terrible. They offered to fix it if I came back when they couldn't get it right. While I was sitting there getting my nails done, several people came in to get nails "fixed". I don't know if it's a certain nail tech or a systemic problem. Would not recommend. My Fiance visited this establishment on 9/11/22 for a pedicure. Whatever chemicals they used has left him with 2nd degree burns on his feet which are now infected. Maybe because he is a man and they knew he was not knowledgeable they used unknown products. I would not recommend this place at all. I have came to this nail salon several times and every time I come there a problem or they just have a nasty attitude. Tina who is now the person running the salon, when ever brought with an issue says she doesn't care. Doesnt try to help or fix the problem. She acts with so unprofessional like it's your fault and your in the wrong. So I brought my 11yr old daughter to get a gel manicure. How could I have any problems it's just a manicure. Its close to my house so it makes it convenient. she picked a mood color it was purple/blue when they finished it was purple and green. when I asked what happened I was told I dont know it's the nail polish company fault. when I said well that not the color she wanted the BOTTLE said purple and blue. Tina said well it is what it is. Its different on acrylic and on nails. ( which is not true i have gotten gel manicure with mood color and used mood color on acrylic and it has been true to the bottle. Finally after having to go back and forth several times and saying well shes doesnt want that color Linda switched it. she Did not give any issue. I will never go back. read more

This place opened last year. Really pretty spa. Lots of colors to choose from. Some of the staff can do a massage while your nails are drying free of charge. Pedi chairs are new and actually work! prices are good, but if you don't like the job YOU DON'T PAY. Sometimes a long wait so make an appointment. read more

I got gel on my nails that was suppose to last 3 weeks and two nails peeled I was disappointed

The pedicures are generally very good here! I will say any gel/ dip powder services do not last more than a week or so without getting chipped. Today I was cashing out with my mother and the total was $84 dollars. Instead of handing my mother her change, Tina decided to start splitting the left over funds between the two momen who serviced us. I immediately had to tell Tina this was unprofessional and that I could have 20 dollars for each of them in my other hand, she should not be dictating who is getting what amount of tip. I've never experienced this in all my years of getting my nails done. Very disappointed by this conduct, it's making me rethink coming back here to get my nails done. read more

3 hour wait and they skip people. The tech who did my toes cut me and made me bleed. The tech who did my nails was rude and got up to go outside and talk on her phone for 30 minutes. After coming here many times over a few years, and receiving excellent service, I finally convinced my boyfriend it was a safe place for him to get some long overdue foot love. I scheduled an appointment for three of us, and when we arrived we were quickly brought back to the chairs. That said, while the other two in our party had a standard experience, sadly I did not. First my tech started on me ten minutes after the others in my party, which was fine. What wasn't ok was the fact I was "finished" long before their feet had even been dried to apply polish. And let me explain what "finished" meant... my left big toe was bleeding due to a CHUNK of flesh being cut off, three toenails had not been trimmed, the ones that were "trimmed" were uneven, residual polish was left on my big toes from my last pedicure, my feet had not been sufficiently soaked or scrubbed, and the tech was getting ready to apply polish which I politely refused. No thank you!! I was bleeding with crooked and mismatched nails!!!! The tech got screamed at by a woman who inspected my feet (manager?), then I was left to sit and watch my friends continue to get their pedicures feeling bad for both myself and for the tech who cut my toe. In the end, my "service" was refunded, but that was due to the efforts of another tech Layla. After witnessing what transpired, knowing I was unhappy (to say the least), she contacted the owner, and learned how to make a refund. Again the other two in my party received excellent service, and Layla went above and beyond in trying to protect the businesses reputation and integrity. I would recommend asking for her to be safe. For pedicures at least, as my tech might be simply amazing at nails. Who knows? read more

I waited for 20 minutes and then another person was taken before me and I was told someone would be right with me. I have recently moved to Middletown, had been with my nail lady in the bronx 14 years and had to part ways due to the days I was available she couldn't squeeze me in, found what I thought was a great salon until today. The men in that salon other than DK are rude, disgusting and horrible. I love Lydia but since she is on vacation they don't treat her customers good so another customer gone!!! I liked this place the first time I came because of the hot stone massage with the spa pedicure. But management must've decided to take a nose dive since then because service today SUCKED!! I walked in with my husband, asked for two pedicures and was asked to wait. Then another woman walks in and asked for a pedi, she gets seen FIRST! (Strike 1!) Then when they finally seat us the one girl starts on my husband first instead of me, fine. But then I'm left I'm sitting there for another 45 minutes watching him get a pedicure while my tub of water finally got so cold I took my feet out. (Strike 2!!) I reminded them twice that we were supposed to be getting done at the same time AND that I had had also asked to have an eyebrow wax - STILL no one helped me!! Finally I got pissed off and put my shoes on and walked out! (Strike 3!!!) They just lost two new customers, which is a BIG mistake!! Because I'm all about the upsell and I'm a generous tipper having worked in the service industry myself. My wife and I both went to receive pedicures. They allowed someone to cut in front of us to receive her pedicure after we had already been made to wait 20 minutes. I gave them the opportunity to redeem themselves so my wife and I let it slide. When we were seated instead of performing pedicures for both of us at the same time as we requested, they started on me. I'm someone who always gives second chances but after thirty minutes into my pedicure they still haven't started on my wife and now both of our patience is wearing thin!!!! many other customers came in and were given service while my wife sat waiting. My wife needed this pedicure to help with the chronic pain she gets in her feet, but they left her waiting so long that she gave up on having it done. When we left there were many employees just sitting doing nothing, but somehow they couldn't manage to help my wife after she'd already been waiting an hour. AWFUL. They have all these colors to choose from and every color I chose they said they were out of. After 3 different options I finally just picked one. When it was time to pay the woman charged my card so many times it eventually declined. After giving cash and going outside I pulled up my bank account to see the multiple charges that were put in. When I went back inside to have all the charges corrected they told me to sit down and they would call the boss when they got a chance. Unacceptable, I disputed the charges with my bank and WILL NEVER be going back. Awful customer service and then after they didn't understand how to use the card machine and charged my card multiple times they acted like they didn't understand. I would recommend they do cash only or take a lesson on the credit card machine. Everyone who goes there please check your bank accounts carefully. For anyone looking for a nail spot should just go down the road to Envy Spa & Nails behind Quickcheck. Very clean, nice environment, pleasant workers, and they understand how to use their credit card machines. read more
