This isn't my regular place..I went here with a friend bc that's his usual place. Worst gel manicure I've ever had. I got it fri and by Sunday it was chipping and Monday, today, it's peeling off. Gel has always lasted at least 3 weeks before chipping or peeling on my nails. It was also a sloppy job, there's bumps all over the polish. It also wasn't a full manicure yet I paid full price. My nails were buffed and cuticles cut that's it. I would drive back but I live so far away. If you're looking for a new salon this isn't it. read more

Great place, mostly go there to get pedicures which I really enjoy. The only downfall I find is that not being able to put a tip on my credit or debit card is a real issue for me. I don't understand why they do not allow that. Not everyone carries cash with them and I always have to remember to stop and Walgreens to make a small purchase and get cash back just so I can leave a tip. That's a little inconvenient, a good business should allow you to tip on the credit card. read more

very unpofessional. The rudeness is as though they were not a service oriented business. I called asking for prices and I was hung up on. I had my nails done there twice previously. First time, ok, second time, not good. The nails were not sculpted proper so they began growing into the skin surrounding the nails on the side. When I called to ask for them to be repaired, i was told I had needed to report it at the time it was done (of course it didn't hurt until several days later when the nails grew a little). I took my mom here for Valentine's Day pedicures. We chose this location for convenience due to time, rather than the place I regularly go to. We were told to pick a color by a very nice lady. The atmosphere is more like a "spa" but in a clinical sort of way. It is bright and there are a ton of pedicure seats. Right off the bat, I felt my manicurist had an attitude. My mom's lady was very sweet. Almost immediately, my mom's basin, however, started to leak from the bottom and there was a giant puddle. Even though there were a ton of people working there, no one helped my mom's manicurist clean it up, and she took leave of my mom's pedicure to clean it herself. However, she was still very nice and did a good job on my mom's pedicure. Overall, my water was way too cold--I had asked her to make it extra hot. Additionally, she did a pretty bad job on my nails. The nail polish was probably old, as it was streaky and chunky. Furthermore, she missed a few spots along the edges, which is exactly why I pay to get it professionally done. She also left my toenails inconsistent lengths. I prefer them pretty short, but I guess the point is that she cut some of them, but not all of them (??) so I guess I will do that myself.... At this point, we were in a hurry to leave due and go grab lunch, and the delay was mostly because of the water leakage from my mom's pedicure basin chair. My mom mostly enjoyed her experience, so in an effort to not ruin the nice day together, I chose not to complain. The person that rung up the order for both my mom and I, which I was paying for, was my stylist. As I was paying, she asked if I was leaving a tip. I said, "yes", but then she said she needed to know the amount. I said I would write it in, but she said, "it doesn't work that way, but you have cash?" and then reiterated to another worker beside her, "Cash is better, gimme dat money money money". At this point, I'm uncomfortably rummaging through my purse for cash, and I just didn't have as much cash as I would have tipped had she let me write my own in on credit card. Beyond that, now I am seriously annoyed at the rude and blatant cash request comment. If I had known her awhile or if she had actually done a good job, it wouldn't have bothered me, but let's face it, I was already annoyed. Needless to say, she got a pretty crappy tip, and I will never be back. If you're reading this, lady who did my nails: The word TIPS stands for "To Insure Proper Service" and is not a mandatory and expected part of your salary. Worst manicure ever. She used her thumbnail to push back my cuticles then didn't even bother to trim them. Left me with dry, ragged cuticles. Wanted a simple green accent nail with glitter and it looks like a 2 year old did it. There's plenty of other shops ....... don't go to Happy Nails as you won't be happy. read more

It is convenient to my home, but nothing special. The shellac manicure left thick run off edges around my cuticles. What is worse though, they took advantage of my neighbor. My neighbor took HIS 5 and 3 year old daughters to Happy Nails for manicures and a pedicures. He didn't know the difference between a regular and a shellac manicure, but they sold him shellac two manicures for the five year olds and a pedicure with nail art for the three year old. I don't even get shellac pedicures! Shame on those techs for taking advantage of a good man just trying to treat his girls to a special day. I won't go back. read more

Walked out. The girl didn't understand English and all I wanted was a fill. After reading the ratings, I thought I would give them a try. I made an appointment and arrived on time. The person at the front desk was sitting in a customer waiting chair with her feet up and appeared annoyed when I told her I had an appointment. She told me go over there as she pointed to an area beyond my line of sight. I found the girl and it all went down hill from there. She did not act like she understood what I was asking for. After working all day I was not spending what I think of as my relaxing time trying to speak to someone who did not bother to learn English and also pay them. Nope. Never again..... They are so rude and just suck at what they do. The lady made my Bio Seaweed EXTREMELY THICK and all the nails are an uneven length. The lady also help the automatic file on my skin therefore my skin felt like it was on fire. There is so much more to say I just don't feel like typing so much. They are so ridiculous there. I told her, "No." She actually says to me, "Well, there is an ATM across the street if you would like to get cash for me. They charge me if I add a tip to cards." I just had a mani/pedi and am not happy. It was my first time at the salon and it was very busy. The water for the feet was lukewarm and when I asked if she could add more hot water, she said that it was busy and there was no hot water. The technician left me at least 4 times during my pedicure, was extremely rough with the massage, and now at home I've noticed the fingernails are jagged, not even filed properly. Worst mani/pedi ever. Recently moved to the area and am still on the hunt for a nail salon. I decided to try this place because it's right on the corner. I asked for a spa pedicure and manicure and was super rushed. Basically I got a mani/pedi, eyebrow wax and collagen hand mask in about 35 minutes. I didn't even get to soak my feet in the nice warm water, as soon as I wet them she was asking me to take them out to scrub. Upcharged me for everything and had to personally walk my tech through the process. I refused the cheese grater, freaks me out, so then they started to speak about me (all I understood was "cheese grater" out of their conversation) and the other attendants started giving me dirty looks. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. It's been 3 weeks since my last pedicure and I'm still on the hunt for a salon for my next one. I do not recommend this place at all. Was never offered water either as seen in some of the other positive reviews. Total spent $60. read more

My teenage sister went in today to get her eye brows waxed and the lady, to get more money, told my very hormonal teenage sister that she has a mustache and needs it waxed!!!!!!!! Pedicure was great, but for the last two times my manicure has been terrible. I could paint my own nails better than the job they did. Applied way too many coats of nail polish, lines are messy and all around the outside of my nail, polish is uneven and just not pretty. This is unfortunate because I have been going since they opened and I will not return for a manicure. read more

Although you will leave with a decent mani/pedi, this place will ONLY let you tip in CASH. No adding your tip on to your receipt which means they do not want to pay taxes on their income. Took my daughter and her friend for a fingernail color - I know that this is probably their most low price service, but the lady did such a rush job, not even bothering to apply a clear coat afterwards on the one child that we left feeling very unsatisfied. It also annoys me intensely when the attendants talk continually amongst themselves in their foreign language - they need to respect their cliental which is American, so it is only polite to speak American in front of the clients. SAD NAILS!! I would have given 0 stars if I could. To start off, the building itself is very unattractive and the staff was very disorganized. I was moved around the building from seat to seat 3 times. In the back, one of the technicians was eating Chinese takeout while doing a customer's nails. Finally, after waiting 30 minutes, the woman began doing my nails, and it was the most poorly done painting I have ever gotten. I could have done better myself. She did not get around the edges and kept leaving marks on my nails (from rubbing her finger over them). In a business where there are so many other competitors, this place does not stand a chance. I had to get 3 nails redone and it took the women 4 tries to cover my whole nail. Then, when it was time to pay, she had me give her the money while my nails were still wet! If I could have given this place 0 stars, I would have. Absolutely HORRIBLE service. The tech talked in her language the whole time she was giving me a pedicure, which lasted exactly 10 MINUTES. The shop wasn't even busy at the time I was there, but my pedicure was extremely rushed and the tech was unprofessional. To top it all off, she didn't understand English at all, and the receptionist (Sean,I believe?) was very rude. My polish was chipping exactly 12 hours after I left the place, and when I went back to get it fixed, the tech didn't give me a second look before telling me that the wait was 40 minutes to FIX MY POLISH. The salon may be clean, but the service and staff is a NIGHTMARE and I will never come back here again. Try the nail salon by Jason's Deli in Clearwater if you aren't sure where to go. They might have less technicians and a longer wait, but the staff is FRIENDLY and it's actually with it there. read more

This was my 1st time there and it will be my last it was by far the worst nail salon I have ever got my nails done at. Now I'm sure alot of you are wondering why well where do I start.. When the man at the door sat me and told me someone will be right out it took her 10min to come out from the back room, then I told her how I wanted them done and so on only for her to tell me she will make me happy doing it her way, as soon as she said that it pissed me off because I am the paying customer not her. Then as I told her no its fine I will go where I normally go she just ignored what I had to say and started to glue the nails on me. Now the only reason I didn't yell at her is because I am a very nice person and will bite my tongue to not make anyone feel bad, but boy was I very unhappy with the situation. The next thing I absolutely did not like is the way they talk about customers that are in there salon ,as they speak Vietnamese. Example: The way women wear their hair or makeup or if they need more then just nails done and then they will laugh and of course someone who doesn't understand what they are saying will just kinds ignore it well guess again cause the whole time I was there they were talking about all the customers including me on how picky I am with what I want. Finally after the lady finished my nails I was so so so UNHAPPY they were not straight, they were very sharp on the ends and look like shit the worst I have ever had them done by anyone. Before I could tell her how I felt about them she got up quickly and walked to the front desk so I followed her she then told me it would be $40 so I asked her why so high when the guy I got greeted by said 35 she just told me he doesn't know the prices. I gave her the 40 and I wasn't going to tip her for the fact I wasn't pleased by here nail art work. But can you believe she had the nerve to stand there holding her hand out waiting for me to tip her I found that to be very rude when by rights they don't need to be tipped at all cause they don't get paid off tips but off of salary. So anyways the kind person I am wasn't going to make a scene so I was going to tip her now all I had was a 10 on me and they said they didn't have change to break it which I knew was a lie right there but it's whatever so I have her the 10 and that ignorant ass lady then turned to the other one at the desk and of course not in English says to her that's all she is going to give me after I did her nails and she was very picky. That's when I had enough I then looked at them told them in their language they should be ashamed of them self and learn to not talk about people right in front of them, they just both looked at me and had there jaws dropped like wtf how did I know what they said and how I could speak just like they did. I then told them they are by far the worst nail place I have ever been to and I won't be coming back and I will be writing a review on them. And started to walk out only for them to say wait stop we will give you 5 free visits if I was to not say anything about what happened with me and how they speak of others. I turned to them both and said no I am fine on that to have a good day and walked out and here I am now letting everyone know about the so called 5 star nail salon and how they really are.
