She made the whole grooming experience so comfortable and stress-free from the moment we walked in. Gureum is very sensitive dog. After grooming appointments at other places, she would sometimes have diarrhea or refuse to eat because of the stress, so I was always worried about taking her to a new groomer. This time was completely different. When we got home, Gureum ate well, played happily and slept peacefully. Our pup, Oliver, doesn't love getting baths, but the owner here really does a good job of helping Oliver to cope with his bath and groom. His grooms are always consistent and come out super cute! I usually don't leave bad reviews and I was very happy first time I took my dog here. Today was my second time and when I picked him up, during my check out the cashier told me that there is something wrong with my dog's skin and lots of hair came out when they were brushing. I first didn't understand what she meant by that and told her he had no problem before grooming. When they brought out my dog she showed me spots that was completely lost hair and red . I took my dog to emergency right after and they told me his skin was burnt or irritated by hair dryer or some sort of tool they might have used. Be aware of this if you are taking your dog here. I've only been here twice, but from what I can tell, this place does a great job of trimming your pooch. I originally went there with my first dog, and after he died, I just couldn't go back. Eventually, though, because good groomers are so hard to find, I decided to try this one out again for my current dog. Both dogs, which are small breed Maltese and Havanese, came out looking just adorable. No nicks or cuts, no nervousness, no trembling with fear, so I could tell they felt comfortable here. WORST GROOMER EVER!!! They don't deserve any stars, however it is required to give at least one star in order to submit my review. Happy puppies is definitely not the right place to take your dog(s). And when I say this, I strongly mean it. Recently, I took my healthy two yr old dog to "Happy" puppy and it turned out to be one of the biggest regrets I have ever made in my life. When I picked him up from the groomers, he was acting unimaginably strange and not his usual self. He was not eating well, he wasn't running, he wasn't playing with his favorite toys, and he spent most of his days sleeping. This was the first time my dog acted like this and shocked me completely. Instantly I knew, something wrong happened at "happy" puppies. I checked with them and asked them politely if anything happened, or went wrong there and the groomer made a great deal of excuses and false vindication. And on top of all her deceptions, her attitude is what surprised me the most. In spite of the fact that I still remained calm, the groomer continued being audacious. After the next day, I woke up only to find out that my dog was not properly walking. He was dragging his feet languidly and repeatedly falling over. Startled, and appalled, I quickly rushed my dog to the Emergency. And after many hours, we found out that there was something wrong with his spine and leg. Yesterday, he just had a long and excruciating surgery. Watching my amazing dog go through this, made my heart hurt awfully. IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR DOG PUT AT RISK, PLEASE FIND A SAFER AND KINDER GROOMER. HAPPY PUPPIES WILL ONLY MAKE YOUR DOG SAD. ( 100% honest ) read more
