So starting off, I'd like to say I rarely give out negative reviews because I hate being negative about any business, BUT, after my little girl got butchered by the groomer, it is IMPERATIVE that I inform the people. So I've moved into Orange County back in March 2024 and have been looking for dog groomers, whether they're local or mobile. I've had my little girl groomed 3 times now since moving here. I was in desperate need of her grooming since she will be turning 8 yrs. old this week and her original appointment with a different party got cancelled. So I found Jose with VIP DOGS Fast Grooming. He was quick to answer and after a quote and a conversation via text, I was quick to book the appointment. He made it very clear to me that he knew what he was doing and had done this before as he does have clients who have schnauzers. So I took my chance. Well everything was good until the end. Photos will explain everything but what REALLY got me was that when I approached him about my checking-in on Yelp to receive the $10 discount, he wouldn't honor it, yet when someone came to inquire about THEIR dog, right in front of me, he quoted them $30 UNDER what he charged ME! So in the end, I was very much upset with his lack of integrity and for what he did to my daughter and how he made her look right before her birthday as I happened to mention to him. SEE FOR YOURSELF!!! Look at my little girl.

Our dog looks and smells so good after a grooming by Jose. We especially appreciate that our pooch wagged his tail during the grooming, a good indication of his comfort level. His ears look amazingly clean and he still smells great after a couple weeks. Convenience and a wonderful job - we'll definitely call Jose again!

Last night, I inquired about dog grooming services, and I was promptly contacted by VIP Dogs. I spoke with Jose via text, and he was fantastic--very helpful and accommodating. He was able to schedule an appointment for my dog, Rex, the very next day. Jose provided excellent grooming services, and Rex looked great afterward. I'll definitely be returning in the future!

Excellent service. Jose was very friendly. And provided my dog a great experience. His communication and eta updates were great. He welcomed me into his grooming bus to discuss the appropriate length for my dog's hair cut, starting with the longer recommended on a test patch on my dog and going shorter per my request one step at a time. I haven't had that experience before. The products he used were great for my dog's dry skin and the final haircut was smooth, evan and above my expectation. I'm glad I was able to work with him.

This man is TRIFLING. I made an appointment a week in advance and the appointment was missed because HE input the time incorrectly on his end. When I asked for this to be rectified (bc I really needed the appointment that same day or the next day) he didn't seem willing despite the fact that it was his mistake. Then once we did finally decide on a time, he sprung on me there was a significant price increase. Because of all the hassle I asked if he would allow an exception so that I could be charged the original pricing (considering that he missed my original appointment), he said no - so when I told him it was too expensive he hit me w attitude saying "this is the cheapest you'll find anyway"

Jose was fantastic! He arrived right on time, was very professional, and did an amazing job grooming both of my dogs. I asked him to style one of them, and the result was exactly what I wanted. One of my dogs had a lot of knots and matting, but Jose handled it with great care and professionalism. Both dogs looked clean, happy, and beautiful when he was done. Easy to schedule a mobile grooming appointment via phone. I was able to text for communications after my initial call. On the day of my appointment, I received a text that they could come sooner which was awesome. I got grooming done for my two dogs. I gave an example picture for my Pomeranian and asked to help de-shed my Husky/Australian Cattle dog mix. They both came back very happy, smelling good, and well groomed. I am happy with the service and the price was very reasonable. I would return for another service in the future. read more

Thank you Jose for doing such a wonderful Job grooming our Baby Boy Bentley! Great customer service too!!! Our dog had been ill for 3 months... I couldn't take him to the groomers! I found flea eggs on my pups and even after treatment they needed a good bath and trim. I called Jose and told him the issue and he came out same day and groomed both my dogs. They are all fluffy and happy again. Jose communicated with me and wanted to make sure I was happy with their cuts and showed me what he would use on him. All staff we've ever come into contact with have been INCREDIBLY nice. The building and waiting area is also very clean and nice. I've noticed at other groomers that there tends to be quite a bit of a smell, but have never noticed that here. They are super fast - both times took less than 90 minutes, but I never feel like they cut corners. He always gets a deshed and it's always done beautifully. Bonus points for the fact that every time my boy has gone in, he's come home with a bandana and a bowtie. Literally amazing. Thank you so much for existing in my area!!! We've been bringing our pups to the Jamboree location for quite a while, and up until the beginning…read moreof this year, we had nothing but positive experiences. Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

After reaching out to several grooming places for quotes, one place stood out--they called me back promptly after I expressed my interest, and they offered a fantastic first-time customer discount, which I thought was a wonderful touch. I took my dog there, unsure of what to expect but hopeful. To my surprise, she seemed incredibly comfortable with the groomer right away, which is unusual because she's typically a bit skittish around new people. I was amazed when she walked over to the scale on command and actually sat down--a feat she rarely accomplishes with anyone other than me! I explained exactly what I wanted, dropped her off, and to my delight, I received a call much sooner than expected saying she was ready. When I picked her up, she looked absolutely fabulous! I did ask for a little touch-up in one area--a tidy-up for her bottom--and the groomer took care of it without any fuss. The best part? My dog was so calm and relaxed with the groomer. Given some past horror stories with other groomers, I couldn't believe how smoothly everything went this time. It was pure joy to see her happy and stress-free when I brought her home. Challenges over multiple visits have included: Groomers an hour late Groomers who thought they were vets diagnosing something the vet rolled their eyes over (chihuahua pattern baldness) Forgetting to perform a requested service After all that, I got hit up by a dispatcher on a call campaign recently who said give us another chance, those people are no longer with us. Turns out they had my account associated with former neighbor's. When I corrected that, he still expressed how difficult it would be to service 3 dogs in an hour. Sir I just corrected you and told you I only have 1 dog. The owner Mike called and said yeah he's using a guy in Guatemala for $10/hr to do incoming calls and for this outbound campaign but what can you do it's great value. What I personally can do is not frequent the business.

It took me to no accountability, no empathy and made me realize that some business owners are definitely in it for the money and not for the real purpose of the service they offer. Lynn, you are a terrible business owner, you are not true to your word, you don't offer sympathy and accountability. Doing a high-level summary here - in January, I took my rabbit to get groomed there. I understand that this is a cat and dog grooming service. However, her new groomer had reached out to me because she just moved to this new business. I had been with Daisy for many years and trusted her with my rabbit. When I dropped my rabbit off not even 20 minutes later, I got a phone call saying that my rabbit's tail was bleeding from her being brushed and that I need to take her to the vet to get it looked at. I rushed over there all scrambled minded to pick her up and took her to numerous vets that which no one was able to see her. It was obvious that my bunny was in shock and she was hurting but bunnies hide pain very well. I finally took her to VEG in Anaheim Hills and they showed me the extent and severity of the tear of her tail. The bill came out to be over $1000 and her tail might have been amputated, fortunately at the end the great people of VEG was able to save her tail after a month of taking her every single week to get it looked at and re-bandaged. Spoke to Lynn and she did not take any accountability and did not want to pay or help pay the bills. I myself was not expecting to have a hospital bill just a grooming bill, but it happened in her facility and I expected for her to take some kind of accountability which she took none. She then finally decided to meet me halfway and pay for half the bill, which I was very happy about. She was very stern on the phone with no kind of empathy and made it seem like it was my fault that my bunny's tail was bleeding. After many months of her saying the check was going to go in the mail. I got back from being out the country on a five week trip and it still was not there. So I called and said I was going to swing by and pick it up. She then sent me an email saying that she changed her mind and will not be paying anything towards the bill. What a terrible person and no integrity at all. Be aware going here because she only wants your money and does not care about your pets at all. Business owners like her should be ashamed of how they go into a service industry for your pets, which are like family, but she does not think of them like that at all. It was obvious from all her conversations that we spoke to on the phone that she really does not care about your pet. She only agreed to pay half when I said some things about her, not having any empathy and not caring for the animals that were brought into her business because to us they are family and our babies. I didn't have a problem paying the bills by myself, but it was her demeanor and lies.
