Was planning to remove the review until I read the response from the owner and trying to say I was making false accusations. I wanted to provide an update on what happened after I called the police. While the police were interviewing the workers at the business, they requested access to the security camera footage. During this time, the masseuse was acting very strange and repeatedly kept touching her pocket, which immediately raised concerns. The police gave her one final opportunity to conduct another search. The officer also asked me if I wanted to search the premises myself, and I told him that I wanted the entire place searched, including the masseuse, her pockets, and everywhere else thoroughly. Shortly after, the owner arrived and began speaking with the police. Then, unbelievably, the masseuse walked back into the same room (room 008) we had previously been in, came back out, and suddenly claimed she had found the missing item. She told the police it was supposedly under the pillow. What makes this highly suspicious is that she had already searched under the pillow and through the NEW sheets while I was present and stated that nothing was there. Now we're expected to believe that it was somehow hidden in the crack of the massage table (according to the owner stated on my friend's review) the entire time. I'm not really one to write reviews, but coming here left such a bad taste in my mouth that here I am, writing a review. The old lady at the front is fairly rude. Massage was decent. First time getting a massage in this area and had prepared 25% tip (Google said 20-30% is customary for massages), and was met with a snarky attitude. Afterwards as another customer was paying, they paid $30 in tip (not sure how long their massage was) and old lady at front loudly blurted "ThIs iS hOw YoU PaY TiP". Give me a break. You should learn to kindly communicate what tip expectation is if it's so important you're willing to belittle a customer in front of others. Probably didn't realize I spoke the language, but she immediately started bad mouthing to other employees after I paid tip. Held a "holier than thou" attitude, lacking professionalism. Zero starts for this place... the Asian lady that gave me a massage didn't understand my English that I wanted full body... she just did my back and caressed my legs... She was very nice and attentive, kept checking with me if the pressure of the massage was good. 1 hour massage was $50 and I tipped her $20. Was in need of a massage bad and they had availability. I made an appointment but they also take walk ins. Upon arrival, you pay first before the service. They didn't mention that to me on the phone but no big deal, as long as I get my massage, which I did. Heads up, they charge a $2 transaction fee for every $100 service cost for card payments. After paying, I was brought to a private room and the lady just left. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to keep my clothes on or take them off because I've seen some places that do massages with the clothes on and the room had a window that anyone walking by could peep in to. They also have open shared spaces but it's barricaded for "privacy". The lady who took my payment and brought me to the room happened to be my masseuse. I thought she was the receptionist. Her name is Wendy and she was good. She's got some strength to her. If I go back, I would go to her again. Just a heads up, the doors to the private rooms don't close tight, the walls are thin, and there's a decent size see through window in the room with semi bright lights. I made an appointment for April 1, 2026. I called around 6 PM and scheduled an 8 PM appointment for a 90-minute massage, specifically requesting a male masseuse. I arrived and parked right at 8:00 PM. While I understand it's ideal to arrive early, I was still on time for my appointment. I was taken to a private room, told to undress, and that the masseuse would be in shortly. After I was already on the table, I was told I needed to wait because the original male masseuse had decided to leave, claiming I was "late." This was frustrating since I arrived right at 8:00 PM--not several minutes after. While I was already undressed on the table, a staff member came in and asked me to pay upfront and again asked how long I wanted the massage to be. I confirmed 90 minutes. This interaction felt very uncomfortable and inappropriate given the timing--they should have handled payment and clarified details before bringing me into the room. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes total, and the replacement masseuse didn't begin until around 8:20 PM. I will say--he was phenomenal. The massage itself was excellent, and I really appreciated that he stepped in last minute. However, despite clearly confirming a 90-minute session, I only received about a 60-minute massage. When I checked the time after he left, it was 9:20 PM. So although I came in expecting a 90-minute service, that was not what I received. To their credit, they only charged me for a 1-hour massage and applied a 10% discount for the wait, bringing the total to $45, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience took a very negative turn at the end. I tipped $10 (which is over 20% of $45), and the owner began questioning and pressuring me--very rudely--in front of other customers about why I wasn't tipping more. It was incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing, and everyone in the room was staring. The masseuse didn't say thank you and appeared visibly upset, which added to the discomfort. While the massage itself was great and I appreciated the adjustment in price, the overall experience was overshadowed by poor professionalism, disorganization, and how I was treated regarding the tip. Being interrupted while undressed, having my appointment delayed and shortened despite confirming 90 minutes, and then being publicly pressured about tipping made me feel extremely uncomfortable. As a dance educator, I rely on massage for recovery and was hoping this could become a regular spot. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. This was my first time visiting this massage place, and unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. First, I came here with my older sister. The shop itself looked clean, and a woman wearing a black crop top greeted us. Since she did not speak much English, I will not comment further on that. Second, when we were taken to the room, we were asked to change clothes. The room was quite small, so it took my sister and me about five minutes to change. We arrived at 1:30 PM and started around 1:45 PM because we were waiting for a friend who ended up being late, so the two of us went in first. While we were changing, we repeatedly said that we were not ready yet, but staff members knocked and then opened the door wide open twice anyway. I was very upset because I clearly said "no," yet they still opened the door. Another issue was the service time. I paid for a 60-minute massage, but the session did not last anywhere close to one hour. If the massage started at around 1:45 PM or even 1:50 PM, it should have ended around 2:45 PM or 2:50 PM. However, when the massage was finished, I checked my phone and it was only around 2:20 PM. That means the actual massage lasted only about 30 minutes. I feel that I did not receive the full service that I paid for, which was very disappointing and unacceptable Third, during the massage, the therapists talked and laughed loudly the entire time. My sister and I did not feel relaxed at all. The massage pressure was too weak, and it felt like they were just going through the motions. Finally, and most importantly, after the massage, my sister and I each left a $10 tip. The attitude we received afterward was extremely rude and disrespectful. One young woman wearing a white T-shirt even asked, "Only $10?" Then she spoke in Chinese and laughed in a mocking way. We already had a poor experience here, so we will never come back. I am not saying everyone at this business is like this, but if I ever returned, I would absolutely refuse to be served by these two employees again. I sustained a sprain from my shoulder and arms, down to my leg and ankle, which made walking extremely difficult. Every step was painful, particularly in my buttocks. Fortunately, I visited Mr. Tian, the owner of a local massage establishment, and received a two-hour massage treatment. Afterwards, I felt significantly better and was able to walk without issue. Came here on a weekday and was roomed immediately as a walk in! The rooms are nice and private. My masseuse was so sweet and checked in to make sure I was having a good experience throughout the massage. Overall I had a great experience, I felt a good soreness the next day and I was definitely able to feel the difference in my tightness afterwards. Definitely a great cost for value experience, I'll definitely come again! In the first 15 minutes of my massage, I couldn't really focus on me and the massage as all the staff were walking back and forth and speaking loudly outside the massage rooms.
