Overall a 3.5 star experience. I came her b/c of an IG video by Kristie Hang and was really looking forward to it for increased circulation and blood flow. I booked on Sunday for Monday 11am, 2 hr deep tissue massage. I got here and was kept waiting for about 12-13 minutes b/c they said they were preparing the room. The room is really cramped, the therapist has very little room to maneuver around you. The bed is kind of rock hard, not a true massage bed, not comfortable. Instead of breathable thin tissues that you see at the chiro or acupuncture places for your face, they use paper towels folded 2x (thick), very hard to breathe. Most of the massage is face down. Alot of deep tissue from your neck, back of arms to calves. They use a heck of alot of oil. At one point they bring out a bucket with warm water, with spikes on the bottom for your feet. Not sure why, b/c they don't really massage your feet (at 1 point, they might pound your feet before they have you flip over). - I asked for scalp and ear massage which was done well, happy about that Only a brief time was spent face up. - Massage on shoulders and chest (above breast area) was very restorative There are alot of breaks while the therapists goes to get supplies bc the room is so small. The hot stones are not very hot or soothing, and are laid on your back over a thin towel. She used 1 hot towel on my back. For the rest of my oily body (legs, thighs, etc. a fresh hot towel would have been nice), The therapist does not speak good English. She only knew a few words: Soft, Medium and Hard (strong pressure). Sometimes when it was too hard in certain pressure points, I tried to ask for more gentle, and they she would reduce the whole massage to medium. It was a touch frustrating. For 2 hrs, deep tissue: $80. Half of it was restorative. Some parts I didn't feel like it did much. Then when I was getting changed, I gave my therapist a $20 CASH tip, which works out to 25% tip. She did not look too happy and did not thank me. She gave me the feeling I should have tipped her more. She seemed displeased or disgruntled. Strange and disappointing. There is some street parking, but there are also a few spots to the rear. Everything is very dim. The reception man just says, you have to let your eyes adjust. Even the light in the bathroom. In someways maybe it was overall a good massage, b/c I slept well when I got home. A deep sleep. I just wish it could have been more restorative during the full 2 hours. He offered us water as we waited for our masseuse to come get us. The waiting area in the second building looked very upscale and the rooms were separated by a wall and drapes. Soft instrumental music was playing in the background. I came here with a friend to get a massage and the staff were extremely friendly and very professional. For $40 and hour, it wasnt bad and it came woth hot stones. I couldn't get truly comfortable because the head pillow had a layer of protection that made me feel like im being suffocated. I told my friend I wished my masseuse could have left the stones on my body after being worked on with them. She told me that her masseuse left it on her. Foot massage is $30 for an hour. Full body is $40 per hour and includes hot stones. The combo is $45 for 70 minutes and comes with hot stones, a private room, and the step-on-you massage, which is what I usually get and recommend. $40 is already a good deal, but for $5 more you get a private room and an extra 10 minutes, so the combo is my go-to. If you want the step-on-you massage, make sure to make an appointment. There are only a few rooms with ceiling handle bars for that service. You can also customize things. I usually ask them to focus more on my face and head, and they're happy to adjust. Don't worry if you don't speak Chinese. I know that's a concern for a lot of people. Jefferson is at the front desk and answers the phone. He's super friendly and fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. The staff are all really nice. I don't go to anyone specific. I just take whoever is available. They do take walk-ins, but they book up fast. I've definitely seen people waiting or being turned away, so I'd recommend booking ahead. read more

Clearly invested in an ad agency to talk about their business. I saw multiple ads and reels multiple times before coming here. However, they under delivered. My husband had a terrible experience and was sore the whole day. Can you believe as a wife dealing with a grumpy husband in pain? Do I want to spend my day while he's in a bad mood. Absolutely not. My massage was rougher than I'd liked it to be and it wasn't the worst, but when they asked for more tip then the cost isn't really $50. Also, if you don't like what we're giving you, get an education and find a job that you think pays what you deserve instead of being entitled to a tip. It's a tip! You truly cannot beat the low price for a full body massage ($40/60 min). I was able to get a last minute couples massage in the same day. My boyfriend and I were able to start our massage as soon as we checked in, the couples massage room were two rooms adjacent to each other so unfortunately we were not able to be massaged side by side. As someone who's had a $500 massage vs $40 massage, I can't tell the difference between the two. I was expecting a FULL body massage but my masseuse focused primary on my upper back.. additionally to note, had a male massause who repeatedly used full strength despite communicating to be more gentle. I had a very disappointing experience here and would not recommend this place at all. The entire shop felt cheap and poorly maintained, which did not create a relaxing or professional atmosphere. Unfortunately, the massage itself was even worse. The therapist didn't seem to understand proper massage techniques or have a good knowledge of pressure points and muscle anatomy. Instead of relieving tension, the massage felt random and excessively rough. When I got home, I noticed multiple bruises across my back, which has never happened to me after a massage anywhere else. Even my scalp massage was surprisingly rough--they managed to leave my hair completely tangled by the end of the session. I was brought across LA Massage and Spa because of the reels and videos from Instagram. I was very intrigued because of the price and also it's close proximity to where I live. I was very appreciative of the ease of booking an appointment and the clarity from the receptionist. I visited with my mother for a 60 min body massage special and was pleased with the service and the hot stones. Because of this experience, I was eager to book an appointment again with my sister 3 days later. I was unable to leave a voicemail because it was full, and remembered there was possibility of walk in and did that instead. I was interested in doing the 70 minute combo special which on Instagram and the sign outside was advertised as $45, but was told inside it was $50. I was a little bit confused, but I thought it was a slight oversight on updating the signage. Unfortunately for the combo, I was disappointed in the quality of the foot massage, which only consisted of foot rubbing and a mediocre foot soak. Also, considering the fact that it is a combo special, I expected to be saving instead of paying more on the service since it is a combo and longer time. When paying and writing down my tip for the session, the masseuse kept pointing at the tip as I was writing it and complaining in Chinese. I continued writing to be met with more complaints about the tip. I recalculated and upped the tip and after signing, the lady collected her copy of the receipt, crumpled it up and threw it away, saying the tip was not good. She complained about the tip the whole way down the hallway and was met with more complaints when my sister and I reached the parking lot. After my first experience and how well this second experience was going, I was looking forward to making this place a regular massage place for my family. But after this jarring encounter, it has left me with a sour connotation of the entire session, and I do not want to be coming back. I had seen a few reviews about tipping and attitude on Yelp and thought it was just an off chance, but now I know that is not the case. When I was checking my credit card statement, I also realized they charged me an additional $10 on my first session. This charge is extremely shady and when I called to complain the receptionist said they wouldn't be able to handle it until later and would call me back. Cut to no call back later, it is unacceptable that I am met with attitude and having to chase for my money after 2 sessions in one week.
