I normally don't write bad reviews, but unfortunately I got my foot massage together with my girlfriend, which wasn't bad at all, but was followed out by the foot massage ladies telling me that I need to give $15 tip for a $20 foot massage. Indeed, the business should charge more for the foot massage since everybody else is $30 and not rely on customers for their salary. Forced tipping, told us that everyone else tipped 15 dollars. When I tipped $20, the male technician next to me was ready to give me $5 back. The female technician said something like, "Why do you need change when she gave it?" The male technician ended up giving us our money back. We selected the massage for 1.5 hrs (Combo 2 $40) They started on my fiancé first and started my massage at least 15 mins after but finished my massage mins after his. She did not utilize the 1.5 hours like I paid for. The Masseuse was sick and kept blowing her nose and sneezing without washing her hands during the massage I felt very uncomfortable. It is a few days later and I am suddenly sick. Can't help but suspect this is where it came from. As we were leaving they began demanding higher tips (50%) For 1.5 hr massage the lady just kept repeating $10 not enough. 25% on a $40 massage is less than $10. We have been coming this place for years and always make an appointment with Wendy . She is the best . The service is always good . They are clean and quite ( I make an appointment early morning and during a weekday) . First time , my body was so sore after the massage . However I asked her to take it easy and it was a heaven for me . Every time i got a massage done - i feel so fresh and energetic- get charge for the whole hard work . This place is still $15 for a foot massage. Only about 10 minutes of time is spent on the foot, but who's complaining!? They start by working on the head, then the shoulders, then the arms, then the feet, then the legs. They dry you up and flip you over and then work the head, shoulder, back, and the butt/hammies. Not bad!! $15 for an hour for Foot Massage. Our previous foot massage place closed down so we had to go look for a replacement. We found this via Yelp. It's an interesting place perhaps because I have another place to compare it to. It's mostly "lay down" massage vs reclining chairs. It was brighter than the other place and people were using the mobile devices while getting massages. The place was ok in terms of cleanliness as I saw clumps of hair when my back was being worked on. The staff all speak English so that was a plus when they were working on myself and the family. One of my biggest pet peeves is when a person complains about not enough tip. Hello? I thought tipping is an option? But I always tip regardless. The amount varies... Depending on the cost of the service. A $15 massage I usually tip $7, a $20 massage I'll tip $10 on a normal basis. But if the client isn't happy... There's no obligation. So I was about to give $5 indirectly telling the inexperience massuese that he needs to improve. If I give nothing, then the massuese should be fired. He doesn't seem qualified because he doesn't know his own strengths, and he seems like rushing, and it feels like he is just doing whatevers to kill time. I really don't appreciate that kind of service especially when I'm stressed, sore, tired, and just want to relax. And what they're doing only makes the matter worse. This place was highly praised and referred by one of my friends, and it became my go to foot massage place. The quality of the service use to be really good. My massages were very soothing and I was able to relax. The ladies who use to be here were very loving-like because they knew how to relax you by their motherly touch. They're more soft spoken, the lights were dimmer, and chatter noise was minimal. I was very satisfied and went as far as referring my others friends here too. Presently, the only thing I could say is "sorry". I really don't know what happened to this place. Is it because during the week, they use less qualified people? Did all those ladies who use to work there leave? I don't know, and I really don't care to find out. But I would definitely want this place to succeed and stay in business.
