I've never really had a problem with Happy Tea before today. The only thing is is a few months ago. They had issues with their loyalty program and I really don't know if they got it up and working yet. Today a friend and I went into Happy Tea and I always get their smoothies. I asked the girl what was in the strawberry banana smoothie besides strawberries and bananas. She said it was strawberry syrup, strawberry juice, bananas, and some sugar. I received my drink and I could tell it had dairy in it. I took it back and asked them what was in it and they said half-and-half. I told them that I was lactose and intolerant and I want almond milk instead. They threw the one away with half and half and made me one with almond milk and expected me to pay for it again. I feel it wasn't my mistake because I did ask her what was in that smoothie and there was no mention of half-and-half. I refused he paid for it again and they ended up throwing both of them away and I was -$6.50. Not very good customer service. I guess nowadays you have to be very very specific with these young kids and let them know what you expect and don't expect. read more

It was amazing until this morning.Customer services is everything. I walked in this morning, it was 10:59 am to be exact, said good morning, went to the self order screen it wasn't on so I went to the counter waited for a couple of seconds and then the gentleman in the front asked me if I worked at the plaza, which I responded I did not. He said "well we open exactly at 11" I said "oh I'm sorry I was just next door and I asked if they knew what time happy tea opened they said it's open right now". Which he responded, "yeah we're not we open right at 11am and what they say next door is not true..... I'll allow it just this time". Then turns around and continues doing his drink. Mind you, it was already passed 11 am by that time. His tone of voice was very rude and he did not even asked to take my order even after 11am! I would rather drive elsewhere to get my boba tea. To prove I am not lying about the time I walked in there, I posted a picture of my receipt from next door that has the time stamp. I respect businesses times, but the door was open which wasn't my fault and he could've easily said, "give us just a few minutes we just opened" or something like that and in a nice tone of voice. He made me feel so little like I did something wrong.
