Lychee Oolong Tea (After I drank it all... lol)
    Kristen V.

I ordered a coffee milk tea today and added boba! I adjusted it to have 75% sweetness. I really needed some caffeine to wake me up. The service here is great as always and this time I decided to stay a while and get some homework done. The vibes are so nice here. It's pretty quiet and most people are in and out so seats are pretty open.

It's a matcha day! Got to try Matcha Love (cake) and Matcha Cream. Both were good. The Matcha Love cake was soft, kind of like a pound cake with matcha cream and matcha pocky on top. It was mild on the matcha taste, not too sweet also. The Matcha Cream was good. It was mild on the matcha taste, no clumps of matcha (appreciated), and not too sweet even though it was 100% sweet!

I was craving boba and saw that this new spit popped up on my feed so I decided to take a little trip and it was totally worth my drive! Upon arrival I was greeted with a warm welcome, a sweet smile and relaxing music. The place is aesthetically pleasing. The menu has a variety of drinks and pastries. I ordered the dirty boba that is made with love with the following ingredients: brown sugar syrup, black tea, milk ( I opted for oat-milk ) boba pearls of-course and a creamy cheese foam which was absolutely exquisite! This is such a great addition to Bakersfield, specially for all the sweet treat enthusiasts.

Gotta have my boba fix! I was excited to try the dirty boba; omg omg .... If you love milk tea or brown sugar boba you must try this! That cheese torched foam... does something to my taste buds! Unique taste... absolutely! Don't wait run there now! The atmosphere is small, but welcoming ! Drinks made to order! Staff friendly!

Very friendly service, great place to study in Bakersfield. So many outlets along the wall and a very nice business. Also the coffee is delicious!!

Cute new drink spot in town. The location is next to Ono Hawaiian bbq on Rosedale hwy in the Studio Movie Grill parking lot. The store was very clean and the staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. They have so many drink options that I'll be back to try... Dirty boba, mango breeze, purple reign... today I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and a tiramisu treasurer both highly recommended by the staff member who helped me. The Vietnamese coffee was perfectly sweetened, although I do like my coffee on the sweeter side. The tiramisu was a soft spongy cake with tiramisu milk foam, chocolate pearls and milk chocolate kisses. It was delicious but not overly sweet. The packaging was so cute!

Qick and delicious great start. Love when you can customize- 25% sweet! Heavy ice! Oat milk! Yep I can make my boba exactly how I want it. This spot has been opened a few months and they seem efficient and my drink came out quickly. The boba was soft and the drink yummy. There are lots of options to suit almost anyone's taste. Prices are on the high side. Parking was fine on a Sunday morning but i could see an issue during peak times.

Great tea spot and other drinks. The signature crème brûlée dirty boba is actually torched on the foam. It also tastes awesome. Strawberry au lait was great as well.

This is our go to spot for drinks. They're yummy and refreshing. We like the matcha and taro breeze :-)

Went to Feng Cha today for the first time and it was very good! Ordered a Summer Melon and a Creme Brulee Dirty Boba and both were excellent. On the Summer Melon drink which was a cross between Watermelon, Lemon and tea, would have been better with less pulp but all around a great refresher! Can't wait to go back and try more drinks!

Loooove!! First time trying this place and I was going to get the Matcha Breeze but they said they were out if matcha that day so I ordered the Strawberry Breeze instead. It tasted DELICIOUS. So yummy. I loved the size of the drink as well as the price AND THE QUALITY of the cup was really good. I also loved how it's close to my house. I'm definitely going back to try their matcha breeze so hopefully it'll be in stock next time I go! I also want to try their mango breeze as well.

    Vietnamese coffee with boba

This place is so fire. Their viet coffee 75% sweet is the best. Ive also tried their blended Taro which was also good. The boba here has a great taste & it's not chewy like other places. The service is good. Also, if they're packed, you're obviously going to be waiting a little bit. inside is kind of small, but that's all right. Their drinks make up for the tight space. I would definitely recommend trying this place out

Something old-world maybe? Like a flavor that's existed for centuries and been passed down through time and so so many generations... and it's now landed in our corner of the world that's just a few blocks away? Globalization and the world within, for f' sakes! This place is truly brilliant. More recently, I'm only in town a few days out of the week, but I make a point to visit this location or their other location, Mokhamena on Panama, each day I'm here to, at a minimum, pick up two for myself--the first one is to function and the second is to savor. There was a time I'd pick up the party-size for my coworkers when I liked them... but alas, times have changed so more for me. The staff there are always friendly and awesome, and on days that I'm lucky enough, I get to actually enjoy the cafe. So grateful you guys are here and sharing flavors from across the world.

THE GRUB: The Cuban coffee is outstanding, and the Vietnamese iced coffee is one of the best around, actually its the only one around. If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself. You can thank me later. .Overall I would give everything a four and a half Stars but since Yelp doesn't do half Stars I'll give them a five out of five stars. SMITTENS STAPLE IS THEIR ABILITY TO MISS THE FLAVOR IN EVER SINGLE DISH…read more Update: coming back after some palate development... smitten is one of the most tasteless restaurants in town. Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. Everything is quite unmemorable. Service is whatever, sometimes mid, sometimes bad. Nothing outstanding. Ambiance.... well... this one has been replicated one too many times. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.
